With technological advances in laparoscopic hepatectomy and new navigation devices,such as flexible laparoscopic ultrasound probes,indocyanine green(ICG)-fluorescent imaging and three-dimensional imaging,laparoscopic segmentectomy(LS),which maximizes the preservation of the functional hepatic reserve and the possibility for future repeat hepatectomy while ensuring adequate surgical margins,has become a feasible alternative to hemihepatectomy for addressing hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).

The three-dimensional hierarchical twin network has been proved to be the source of the excellent strength-ductility combination in the CoCrNi medium entropy alloy.Revealing the formation mechanism of hierarchical twins,however,remains a challenge using either the post-mortem or the in-situ microstructural characterization.In this study,the atomistic formation mechanism of hierarchical twins was investigated using molecular dynamics simulations,with special focus on the effects of strain rate and deformation temperature.Compared to the primary twin boundaries kink-driven hierarchical twinning tendency in pure FCC metals,the chemical inhomogeneity in CoCrNi can reduce the necessary kink height to trigger conjugate twins(CTWs),fascinating the formation of twin networks.At room temperature,the plastic deformation is dominated by primary twins(PTWs)and conjugate slips at a relatively lower strain rate(e.g.,5×10^(7)s^(−1)).The hierarchical twins can be activated in cases of deforming at a higher strain rate(e.g.,2×10^(8)s^(−1)).Further increasing the strain rate(e.g.,1×10^(10) s^(−1))leads to the phase-transformation induced plasticity.At cryogenic temperatures,the hierarchical twins are promoted within a large range of strain rates(e.g.,5×10^(7)–1×10^(10) s^(−1)).A higher temperature leads to the synergy of CTWs and primary slips at a lower strain rate,but hierarchical twins at a higher strain rate.On this basis,a qualitative comparison and scalable trends between experiments and simulations were revealed.The present study would not only provide the basic understanding for the twinning behavior found experimentally,but also contribute to the design of medium/high entropy alloys with excellent mechanical performances by tuning microstructures.

Because the amorphous/amorphous nano-laminates could enhance signifcantly the mechanical properties of the amorphous materials,they have been widely studied as a new group of structural materials.In this study,the nano-scratch performance of the Cu_(80)Zr_(20)/Cu_(20)Zr_(80)(A/B-type)and the Cu_(20)Zr_(80)/Cu_(80)Zr_(20)(B/A-type)amorphous/amorphous nano-laminates was evaluated by molecular dynamics simulation.Their dependences on the type of indenter,layer thickness,stacking mode and scratch depth were systematically analyzed.There is a signifcant size effect for the tribological properties of amorphous/amorphous nanolaminates that the friction force of the A/B-type increases with the increase of layer thickness,but the friction force of the B/A-type decreases as the layer thickness increase.The interface has an obvious obstruction effect on the shear deformation and reduces the plastic affected region below the scratched groove.Particularly,the contact environment of the indenter bottom has an important influence on the normal force,so it’s not that the deeper the depth,the greater the normal force.Hence it should not be ignored when evaluating the tribological properties of the amorphous/amorphous nano-laminates.This work can deepen the understanding of hetero-interface on the deformation mechanism during nano-scratch,and help to design amorphous nano-laminates with tailored tribological performance for practical applications.

Mouse embryonic stem cells(mESCs)derived from inner cell mass(ICM)of pre-implantation embryos,can maintain undifferentiated state when cultured in N2B27 medium supplemented with GSK3inhibitor CHIR99021 and MEK inhibitor PD0325901(‘‘2i’’)and leukemia inhibitor factor(LIF).Compare to conventional culture medium,all components of this medium are defined.With the N2B27 medium,‘‘2i’’and LIF,mESCs can contribute to the germline of the chimeric embryos,however,whether the‘‘all-ES cells’’mice can been generated by tetraploid complementation is unclear yet,while the tetraploid complementation serve as a golden standard to assess the pluripotency of ES cells.Here,our study showed that mESCs derived and cultured with the N2B27 complete medium could generate fertile mice by tetraploid complementation.In addition,the survival rate of tetraploid complementation mice produced by inbred mES cell lines is higher than the conventional culture condition,and increased the percentage of Oct4 positive cells contrast to conventional medium either.Therefore,the N2B27 medium supplemented with‘‘2i’’and LIF is an alternative choice forthe derivation and long-term culture of mouse embryonic stem cells.

经过多年的发展,我国起重机械施工技术在技术、顶管设备、施工工艺等方面都取得了长足的进步,在某些方面,甚至达到了世界领先水平。地下千斤顶的施工效率,特别是机械式千斤顶的施工效率明显提高。作为最传统的顶管方式,手掘式顶管与机械顶管在施工效率上存在较大差距,但由于其建设成本低、操作方便、设备简单等优点,在地质条件较好的小型工程中仍被广泛使用。基于此,本文以污水管道手动提升机为例,分析了影响主流程施工效率的因素,并制定了指导建议和相关措施,为后续类似项目提供参考。

For surface defects in electronic water pump shells,the manual detection efficiency is low,prone to misdetection and leak detection,and encounters problems,such as uncertainty.To improve the speed and accuracy of surface defect detection,a lightweight detection method based on an improved YOLOv5s method is proposed to replace the traditional manual detection methods.In this method,the MobileNetV3 module replaces the backbone network of YOLOv5s,depth-separable convolution is introduced,the parameters and calculations are reduced,and CIoU_Loss is used as the loss function of the boundary box regression to improve its detection accuracy.A dataset of electronic pump shell defects is established,and the performance of the improved method is evaluated by comparing it with that of the original method.The results show that the parameters and FLOPs are reduced by 49.83%and 61.59%,respectively,compared with the original YOLOv5s model,and the detection accuracy is improved by 1.74%,which is an indication of the superiority of the improved method.To further verify the universality of the improved method,it is compared with the results using the original method on the PASCALVOC2007 dataset,which verifies that it yields better performance.In summary,the improved lightweight method can be used for the real-time detection of electronic water pump shell defects.

Blastocyst complementation by pluripotent stem cell(PSC)injection is believed to be the most promising method to generate xenogeneic organs.However,ethical issues prevent the study of human chimeras in the late embryonic stage of development.Primate embryonic stem cells(ESCs),which have similar pluripotency to human ESCs,are a good model for studying interspecies chimerism and organ generation.However,whether primate ESCs can be used in xenogenous grafts remains unclear.In this study,we evaluated the chimeric ability of cynomolgus monkey(Macaca fascicularis)ESCs(cmESCs)in pigs,which are excellent hosts because of their many similarities to humans.We report an optimized culture medium that enhanced the anti-apoptotic ability of cmESCs and improved the development of chimeric embryos,in which domesticated cmESCs(D-ESCs)injected into pig blastocysts differentiated into cells of all three germ layers.In addition,we obtained two neonatal interspecies chimeras,in which we observed tissue-specific D-ESC differentiation.Taken together,the results demonstrate the capability of D-ESCs to integrate and differentiate into functional cells in a porcine model,with a chimeric ratio of 0.001-0.0001 in different neonate tissues.We believe this work will facilitate future developments in xenogeneic organogenesis,bringing us one step closer to producing tissue-specific functional cells and organs in a large animal model through interspecies blastocyst complementation.
