Blockchain technology has witnessed a burgeoning integration into diverse realms of economic and societal ***,scalability challenges,characterized by diminished broadcast efficiency,heightened communication overhead,and escalated storage costs,have significantly constrained the broad-scale application of *** paper introduces a novel Encode-and CRT-based Scalability Scheme(ECSS),meticulously refined to enhance both block broadcasting and ***,ECSS categorizes nodes into distinct domains,thereby reducing the network diameter and augmenting transmission ***,ECSS streamlines block transmission through a compact block protocol and robust RS coding,which not only reduces the size of broadcasted blocks but also ensures transmission ***,ECSS utilizes the Chinese remainder theorem,designating the block body as the compression target and mapping it to multiple modules to achieve efficient storage,thereby alleviating the storage burdens on *** evaluate ECSS’s performance,we established an experimental platformand conducted comprehensive *** results demonstrate that ECSS attains superior network scalability and stability,reducing communication overhead by an impressive 72% and total storage costs by a substantial 63.6%.

We consider a model of network formation as a stochastic game with random duration proposed initially in sun and Parilina(Autom Remote Control 82(6):1065–1082,2021).In the model,the leader first suggests a joint project to other players,i.e.,the network connecting ***,the players are allowed to form fresh links with each other updating the initially proposed *** stage payoff of any player is defined depending on the network *** are two types of randomness in the network formation process:(i)links may fail to be formed with different probabilities although players intend to establish them,(ii)the game process may terminate at any stage or transit to the next stage with a certain probability ***,a network is formed as a result of players’decisions and realization of random *** cooperative version of the stochastic game is *** particular,we examine the properties of subgame consistency as well as strong subgame consistency of the *** provide a payment mechanism or regularization of the core elements to sustain its subgame consistency and avoid the player’s deviations from the cooperative *** addition,the distribution procedure of the core elements is regularized in case there are negative payments to achieve only nonnegative payments to the players at any *** sufficient condition of a strongly subgame consistent core is also *** illustrate our theoretical results with a numerical example.

In the past two decades,model averaging,as a way to solve model uncertainty,has attracted more and more *** this paper,the authors propose a jackknife model averaging(JMA) method for the quantile single-index coefficient model,which is widely used in *** model misspecification,the model averaging estimator is proved to be asymptotically optimal in terms of minimizing out-of-sample quantile *** experiments are conducted to compare the JMA method with several model selections and model averaging methods,and the results show that the proposed method has a satisfactory *** method is also applied to a real dataset.

Developing efficient and durable oxygen evolution reaction(OER)catalysts holds great promise for green hydrogen production via seawater electrolysis,but remains a ***,we report a Co-doped Ni_(3)S_(2) nanosheet array on Ni foam(Co-Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF)as a high-efficiency OER electrocatalyst for *** alkaline conditions,Co-Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF requires an overpotential of only 368 mV to drive 100 mA·cm^(–2),superior to Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF(385 mV).Besides,it exhibits at least 50-h continuous electrolysis.

The development of highly active,stable and inexpensive electrocatalysts for hydrogen production by defects and morphology engineering remains a great ***,S vacancies-rich Ni_(3)S_(2)@Cu_(2)S nan-otube heterojunction arrays were in-situ grown on copper foam(V_(s)-Ni_(3)S_(2)@V_(s)-Cu_(2)S NHAs/CF)for efficient electrocatalytic overall water *** the merits of nanotube arrays and efficient electronic mod-ulation drived by the OD vacancy defect and 2D heterojunction defect,the resultant V_(s)-Ni_(3)S_(2)@V_(s)-Cu_(2)S NHAs/CF electrocatalyst exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activity with a low overpotential of 47 mV for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)at 10 mA cm^(-2) current density,and 263 mV for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)at 50 mA cm^(-2) current density,as well as a cell voltage of 1.48 V at 10 mA cm^(-2).Moreover,the nanotube heterojunction arrays endows V_(s)-Ni_(3)S_(2)@V_(s)-Cu_(2)S NHAs/CF with outstanding stability in long-term catalytic processes,as confirmed by the continuous chronopotentiom-etry tests at current densities of 10 mA cm^(-2) for 100 h.

Diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases are defined by inflammation and the damage neurons undergo due to oxidative stress. A primary reactive oxygen species contributor in the central nervous system, NADPH oxidase 4, is viewed as a potential therapeutic touchstone and indicative marker for these ailments. This in-depth review brings to light distinct features of NADPH oxidase 4, responsible for generating superoxide and hydrogen peroxide, emphasizing its pivotal role in activating glial cells, inciting inflammation, and disturbing neuronal functions. Significantly, malfunctioning astrocytes, forming the majority in the central nervous system, play a part in advancing neurodegenerative diseases, due to their reactive oxygen species and inflammatory factor secretion. Our study reveals that aiming at NADPH oxidase 4 within astrocytes could be a viable treatment pathway to reduce oxidative damage and halt neurodegenerative processes. Adjusting NADPH oxidase 4 activity might influence the neuroinflammatory cytokine levels, including myeloperoxidase and osteopontin, offering better prospects for conditions like Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. This review sheds light on the role of NADPH oxidase 4 in neural degeneration, emphasizing its drug target potential, and paving the path for novel treatment approaches to combat these severe conditions.
