Effect of deformation parameters on the austenite dynamic recrystallization behavior of a eutectoid pearlite rail steel

Understandings of the effect of hot deformation parameters close to the practical production line on grain refinement are crucial for enhancing both the strength and toughness of future rail steels.In this work,the austenite dynamic recrystallization(DRX)behaviors of a eutectoid pearlite rail steel were studied using a thermo-mechanical simulator with hot deformation parameters frequently employed in rail production lines.The single-pass hot deformation results reveal that the prior austenite grain sizes(PAGSs)for samples with different deformation reductions decrease initially with an increase in deformation temperature.However,once the deformation temperature is beyond a certain threshold,the PAGSs start to increase.It can be attributed to the rise in DRX volume fraction and the increase of DRX grain with deformation temperature,respectively.Three-pass hot deformation results show that the accumulated strain generated in the first and second deformation passes can increase the extent of DRX.In the case of complete DRX,PAGS is predominantly determined by the deformation temperature of the final pass.It suggests a strategic approach during industrial production where part of the deformation reduction in low temperature range can be shifted to the medium temperature range to release rolling mill loads.

Multi-functional and multi-scenario applications for MXene aerogels with synergistically enhanced asymmetric modules

The development of multifunctional materials and synergistic applications of various functions are important conditions for integrated and miniaturized equipment.Here,we developed asymmetric MXene/aramid nanofibers/polyimides(AMAP)aerogels with different modules using an integrated molding process.Cleverly asymmetric modules(layered MXene/aramid nanofibers section and porous MXene/aramid nanofibers/polyimides section)interactions are beneficial for enhanced performances,resulting in low reflection electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding(specific shielding effectiveness of 2483(dB·cm^(3))/g and a low R-value of 0.0138),high-efficiency infrared radiation(IR)stealth(ultra-low thermal conductivity of 0.045 W/(m·K)and IR emissivity of 0.32 at 3–5μm and 0.28 at 8–14μm),and excellent thermal management performances of insulated Joule heating.Furthermore,these multifunctional AMAP aerogels are suitable for various application scenarios such as personal and building protection against electromagnetic pollution and cold,as well as military equipment protection against infrared detection and EMI.

Kear Editor,Individuals in isolated,confined,and extreme environments,such as astronauts,researchers wintering over Antarctica,submarine soldiers,and participants in simulated isolation environment experiments,commonly report difficulty in focusing their attention[1,2].However,current experimental findings from studies conducted in such environments are insufficient to fully support these self-reports of reduced attention.Certain attention-demanding tasks such as simple reaction time(RT)tasks and dual tasks,including primary pursuit tracking and secondary RT,were not affected in space flight experiments[2,3].

IKIP downregulates THBS1/FAK signaling to suppress migration and invasion by glioblastoma cells

Background:Inhibitor of NF-κB kinase-interacting protein(IKIP)is known to promote proliferation of glioblastoma(GBM)cells,but how it affects migration and invasion by those cells is unclear.Methods:We compared levels of IKIP between glioma tissues and normal brain tissue in clinical samples and public databases.We examined the effects of IKIP overexpression and knockdown on the migration and invasion of GBM using transwell and wound healing assays,and we compared the transcriptomes under these different conditions to identify the molecular mechanisms involved.Results:Based on data from our clinical samples and from public databases,IKIP was overexpressed in GBM tumors,and its expression level correlated inversely with survival.IKIP overexpression in GBM cells inhibited migration and invasion in transwell and wound healing assays,whereas IKIP knockdown exerted the opposite effects.IKIP overexpression in GBM cells that were injected into mouse brain promoted tumor growth but inhibited tumor invasion of surrounding tissue.The effects of IKIP were associated with downregulation of THBS1 mRNA and concomitant inhibition of THBS1/FAK signaling.Conclusions:IKIP inhibits THBS1/FAK signaling to suppress migration and invasion of GBM cells.

钕铁硼烧结磁体中的晶界相组成、微结构及化学成分对其矫顽力有重要的影响,为了阐明钕铁硼烧结磁体中晶界相组成和微观组织结构的演变机制,有必要对其先驱体材料Nd-Fe-B速凝合金片中晶界富Nd相的相组成和微结构特点进行研究。采用速凝工艺制备Nd-Fe-B速凝合金片,重点对速凝合金的晶界区域进行TEM研究。研究发现:在富Nd三角晶界存在两种衬度明显不同的区域,衬度均匀一致的区域为非晶微晶相,在衬度明暗对比的区域发现有双六方结构的Nd相(dhcp-Nd)、低熔点共晶相"Nd+Nd_(2)Fe_(14)B"和和少量非晶微晶相存在。晶界线扫描结果表明,晶界区域的Nd:Fe原子比并非恒定值,晶界非晶微晶区的Fe含量较高,其Fe含量平均值大于60%(原子分数);而晶界晶化区的成分波动较大,这可能是因为该区域是dhcp-Nd相、"Nd+Nd_(2)Fe_(14)B"共晶相以及少量非晶微晶相的混合物。在钕铁硼合金的晶界处普遍存在非晶相,是因为Nd-Fe-B合金体系属于深共晶体系,合金熔液在冷却过程中提早凝固,无序状态亚稳到室温造成的。

Estimating SVCV waterborne transmission and predicting experimental epidemic development:A modeling study using a machine learning approach

Viral infectious diseases significantly threaten the sustainability of freshwater fish aquaculture.The lack of studies on epidemic transmission patterns and mechanisms inhibits the development of containment strategies from the viewpoint of veterinary public health.This study raises an epidemic mathematical model considering water transmission with the aim of analyzing the transmission process more accurately.The basic reproduction number R0 was derived by the model parameter including the water transmission coefficient and was used for the analysis of the virus transmission.Spring viremia of carp virus(SVCV)and zebrafish were used as model viruses and animals,respectively,to conduct the transmission experiment.Transmission through water was achieved by connecting two aquarium tanks with a water channel but blocking the fish movement between the tanks.With the collected experimental data,we determined the optimal hybrid machine learning algorithm to analyze the transmission process using an established mathematical model.In addition,future transmission was predicted and validated using the epidemic model and an optimal algorithm.Finally,the sensitivity of model parameters and the simulations of R0 variation were performed based on the modified complex epidemic model.This study is of significance in providing theoretical guidance for minimizing R0 by manipulating model parameters with containment measures.More importantly,since the modified model and algorithm demonstrated better performance in handling freshwater fish transmission problems,this study advances the future application of transmissible disease modeling with larger datasets in freshwater fish aquaculture.

针对海上油气平台集群接入不稳定电源与储能的联合配置问题,结合海上风电、光伏特点及已有的拓扑结构,提出了三阶段风机/光伏/储能阶段式联合配置策略,介绍嵌入潮流计算的阶段式粒子群算法。第一阶段通过LightGBM网络预测模型得到风机光伏的时序预测发电功率,再以投资建设经济性和潮流稳定性为目标优化每个节点的风机/光伏容量;第二阶段针对不稳定电源配置后的配电网,提出了基于电压和损耗灵敏度为指标的集群划分方法,将配电网集群划分为若干个子集群;第三阶段根据划分后的子集群,以储能容量、配电网损耗和节点电压波动为目标为每个子集群内配置储能。以渤海油田某10 kV实际油气平台配电网为例,设立燃气机出力功率自定义和经济性自定义两种方案来验证联合配置优化决策的合理性。结果表明,两种配置策略都可以有效地提升海上油气平台配电网的潮流稳定性,提高新能源的渗透率。本文研究验证了海上分散式风机/光伏发电工程的可行性,有利于实现未来海上油气平台的“零碳”建设。

Dependence of magnetic properties on microstructure and composition of Ce-Fe-B sintered magnets

In this paper,dependence of magnetic properties on microstructure and composition of Ce-Fe-B sintered magnets with Cu-doped Ce-rich alloy addition was investigated.It shows that the maximum energy product(BH)(max)and coercivity H(cj)of Ce-Fe-B sintered magnet are improved from 6.76 to 9.13 MGOe by 35.1%,and from 1.44 to 1.67 kOe by 16.0%,respectively,via adding 5 wt%liquid phase alloy of Ce(35.58)Fe(57.47)Cu6 B(0.95)(at%).Compared with the magnet without Cerich alloy addition,the volume fraction of the grain-boundary phase with low melting point increases in the magnet with Ce-rich alloy additio n,which is be ne ficial to imp roving the microstructure and promoting the coercivity enhancement of the magnet.In the Ce-Fe-B magnet with Ce-rich alloy addition,Cu and Ce enrich in the grain boundaries of the magnet after annealing,therefore the as-annealed magnet has a higher coercivity than the as-sintered magnet.A distinct Fe-rich layer with the average thickness of 60 nm is found in the grain boundaries in the magnet without Ce-rich alloy addition,but it seems that Fe-rich phase disappears in the magnet with Ce-rich alloy addition.The present work suggests that the further improvement of coercivity in the Ce-Fe-B sintered magnets is expectable by designing the composition and structure of added liquid phase alloys.

为研究饱水状态和应变率对凝灰岩拉伸力学特性的影响,采用电液伺服压力机及直径50 mm分离式霍普金森压杆(SHPB)对凝灰岩开展静态和动态巴西圆盘劈裂拉伸试验,利用高速摄像系统获取试件在高应变率下裂纹扩展过程及破碎形态,并结合放大1000倍的电子数码显微镜观测岩石表面及断口处的细观结构。研究结果表明:试件拉伸强度存在明显的应变率效应,且应变率越大,试件到达峰值应力的时间越短;静载作用下饱水试件抗拉强度均值是干燥试件的88.12%,0.2,0.3,0.4 MPa气压作用下,饱水试件拉伸强度分别为干燥试件的99.89%,95.25%和90.52%,饱水作用对岩体造成劣化,降低其抗拉强度;0.2,0.3,0.4 MPa气压作用下,饱水试件动态增强因子(DIF)均值分别是干燥试件的1.14,1.08,1.05倍,由于黏聚力与“stefen”效应的存在,饱水试件DIF高于干燥试件;随着应变率的增大,试件裂纹扩展速度加快,且饱水试件裂纹扩展宽度和速度均高于干燥试件;静载作用下试件呈典型劈裂拉伸破坏形式,动载作用下试件拉伸与剪切破坏共存;凝灰岩自身存在大量原生节理、孔隙等结构薄弱面,在应力波作用下,试件薄弱面处的裂纹发生扩展贯通并最终发生破坏,水的侵蚀作用使饱水试件裂纹扩展程度明显高于干燥试件。
