In transplantation immunology, the ultimate goal is always to successfully and specifically induce immune tolerance of allografts. Tolerogenic dendritic cells （toI-DCs） with immunoregulatory functions have attracted much attention as they play important roles in inducing and maintaining immune tolerance. Here, we focused on tol-DCs that have the potential to promote immune tolerance after solid-organ transplantation. We focus on their development and interactions with other regulatory cells, and we also explore various toI-DC engineering protocols. Harnessing tol-DCs represents a promising cellular therapy for promoting long-term graft functional survival in transplant recipients that will most likely be achieved in the future.

Influence of Rubber Powder Movement on Properties of Asphalt Rubber from the Mesoscopic View

The research on asphalt performance mainly focused on the macro performance and micro mechanism.Mesoscopic analysis was introduced to study the effect of rubber powder movement on asphalt rubber properties.After the preparation parameters and the preparation process of asphalt rubber were determined,the modification mechanism and rheological properties were analyzed which revealed the compatible stability mechanism.Then,the analysis model of asphalt rubber was established to focus on simulating the effect of rubber powder and the spatial movement on its mechanical properties.The experimental results show that rubber powder can make the asphalt rubber bear more uniform stress distribution and enhance the ability to resist deformation.Meanwhile,the rotational motion and final distribution of rubber powder have an obvious impact on the mechanical properties of asphalt rubber.In the selected feature points,the average stress of rubber powder at 0°space angle is only 34.1%of that at90°space angle.When the rubber powders are all in parallel in the ideal state,it enhances the mechanical properties the most.This study supplements the“mesoscopic”scale between macro and micro research.The relationship between micro mechanism and macro properties of asphalt rubber will be established from the mesoscopic perspective.It is also an effort to realize the effective correlation from micro,mesoscopic to macro in asphalt.

Data publishing methods can provide available information for analysis while preserving privacy.The multiple sensitive attributes data publishing,which preserves the relationship between sensitive attributes,may keep many records from being grouped and bring in a high record suppression ratio.Another category of multiple sensitive attributes data publishing,which reduces the possibility of record suppression by breaking the relationship between sensitive attributes,cannot provide the sensitive attributes association for analysis.Hence,the existing multiple sensitive attributes data publishing fails to fully account for the comprehensive information utility.To acquire a guaranteed information utility,this article defines comprehensive information loss that considers both the suppression of records and the relationship between sensitive attributes.A heuristic method is leveraged to discover the optimal anonymity scheme that has the lowest comprehensive information loss.The experimental results verify the practice of the proposed data publishing method with multiple sensitive attributes.The proposed method can guarantee information utility when compared with previous ones.

The long-term corrosion behaviors of four variants of oxide dispersion strengthened(ODS)iron-based alloys in the stagnant oxygen-saturated lead–bismuth eutectic(LBE)at 550℃ were studied herein.The effects of silicon and aluminum content on the thickness,morphology and composition of the oxide scale were explored with the aid of X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),electron probe micro-analyzer(EPMA)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The addition of 1.5 wt%silicon is not able to contribute to forming a protective external silicon oxide film on the surface of aluminum-free ODS iron-based alloy,while the addition of aluminum promotes the formation of a thin and continuous alumina oxide scale.In the meantime,an appropriate amount of silicon becomes the heterogeneous nucleation site for alumina during the initial stage of oxidation,giving rise to the rapid formation of a protective alumina scale.However,excessive silicon has a negative impact on the formation of continuous alumina scale,because it may compete with aluminum to absorb more oxygen.The result of oxidation kinetics in ODS iron-based alloy shows that the parabolic rate constant of the alumina oxide scale is 3–4 orders of magnitude lower than that of the scale mainly composed of iron and chromium oxide.

Controlled drug delivery holds great potential for effective tumor treatment owing to the merits of overcoming drug resistance and improving therapeutic efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity.However,accurate and controllable delivery of chemotherapeutics into tumor tissue with high efficiency remains a huge challenge.Taking advantage of the UV-emitting characteristics of upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPs),herein we for the first time report an MMP-2 enzyme and near infrared(NIR)dual-mediated sequential drug delivery and in-situ immobilization(ENDDI)system that is fabricated by decorating UCNPs with MMP-2 responsive and photocrosslinkable peptide bearing anticancer drug doxorubicin(DOX)for overcoming multidrug resistance.Upon cleavage with tumor-specific MMP-2,the peptide fragment containing a photolabile benzophenone(BP)and DOX could be released and in-situ immobilized within the tumor through the covalent crosslinking reaction between BP and neighboring biomolecules under the excitation of converted UVemission from UCNPs,which remarkably blocks the exocytosis of DOX leading to prolonged drug retention,achieving significant suppression of DOX-resistant breast tumors.Our current dual stimuli-mediated sequential drug delivery and in-situ immobilization represent a generalizable strategy for the effective treatment of multidrug resistant tumors.

Medical data publishing based on average distribution and clustering

Improved state coordinates transformations are used to design static and reduced-order dynamical stabilizers for linear time invariant（LTI） system. Free variable matrices are proposed in the transformations to stabilize pivotal submatrices of new state space representations. The stabilizers can be determined if corresponding linear matrix inequalities（LMIs） are feasible.

Most of the data publishing methods have not considered sensitivity protection,and hence the adversary can disclose privacy by sensitivity attack.Faced with this problem,this paper presents a medical data publishing method based on sensitivity determination.To protect the sensitivity,the sensitivity of disease information is determined by semantics.To seek the trade-off between information utility and privacy security,the new method focusses on the protection of sensitive values with high sensitivity and assigns the highly sensitive disease information to groups as evenly as possible.The experiments are conducted on two real-world datasets,of which the records include various attributes of patients.To measure sensitivity protection,the authors define a metric,which can evaluate the degree of sensitivity disclosure.Besides,additional information loss and discernability metrics are used to measure the availability of released tables.The experimental results indicate that the new method can provide better privacy than the traditional one while the information utility is guaranteed.Besides value protection,the proposed method can provide sensitivity protection and available releasing for medical data.

Gold nanoparticles（AuNPs） as potent theranostic agents have extensively been studied for photothermal therapy, radiosensitization, and photoacoustic（PA）imaging of cancers. However, spatiotemporally manipulating the aggregating behaviour remains lacking for effectively maximizing the photothermal efficacy,radiosensitization and imaging ability of small AuNPs in vivo. Herein, we for the first time demonstrated that AuNPs decorated with photolabile diazirine moieties could form covalently cross-linked aggregates upon laser irradiation（λ = 405 nm）. Both in vitro and in vivo studies indicated that the light-triggered assembling remarkably shifted the surface plasmon resonance of Au particles to near-infrared regions and prolonged the residence time of AuNPs within tumors, which in consequence effectively enhanced the efficacy of photothermal therapy,radiosensitization, and sensitivity of photoacoustic imaging of tumours. We thus believe that the light-triggered crosslinking strategy may offer a valuable approach for improving the theranostic efficacies of functional NPs.

Phototheranostics have attracted tremendous attention in cancer diagnosis and treatment because of the noninvasiveness and promising effectiveness.Developing advanced phototheranostic agents with long emission wavelength,excellent biocompatibility,great tumor-targeting capability,and efficient therapeutic effect is highly desirable.However,the mutual constraint between imaging and therapeutic functions usually hinders their wide applications in biomedical field.To balance this contradiction,we herein rationally designed and synthesized three novel tumor-targeted NIR-Ⅱ probes(QR-2PEG_(321),QR-2PEG_(1000),and QR-2PEG_(5000)) by conjugating three different chain lengths of PEG onto an integrin α_(v)β_(3)-targeted NIR-Ⅱ heptamethine cyanine fluorophore,respectively.In virtue of the essential amphiphilic characteristics of PEG polymers,these probes display various degree of aggregation in aqueous buffer accompanying with differential NIR-Ⅱ imaging and photothermal(PTT) therapeutic performance.Both in vitro and in vivo results have demonstrated that probe QR-2PEG_(5000) has the best NIR-Ⅱ imaging performance with prominent renal clearance,whereas QR-2PEG_(321)possesses excellent photoacoustic signal as well as PTT effect,which undoubtedly provides a promising toolbox for tumor diagnosis and therapy.We thus envision that these synthesized probes have great potential to be explored as a toolkit for precise diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors.
