The problem of stabilizing switched linear systems under asynchronous switching is addressed.The admissible edge-dependent average dwell time method is applied to design a switching signal that comprises slow admissible edge-dependent average dwell time and fast admissible edge-dependent average dwell time.Under this switching signal,the restriction that the maximum delay of asynchronous switching is known in advance is removed.The constructed Lyapunov function is associated with both the system mode and controller mode.The stabilization criteria and the corresponding algorithm are presented to obtain the controller gains and to design the switching signal.Finally,two examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.

Fingerprinting sulfur speciation in aprotic electrolytes is a key to understand fundamental chemistry and design well-performing lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries.Lithium polysulfide(LiPS)dissolution and deposition in ether-based electrolytes during redox reactions have been probed and established by spectroscopy and microscopy.However,detailed LiPS structure and solvation properties influenced by conventional and newly developed electrolytes remain elusive,which exert fundamental challenges and practical difficulties in decoupling battery performance from electrolyte volume.This perspective aims to provide timely information to uncover underlying mechanisms that rein in sulfur speciation by considering the charge density of LiPSs and the coordination strength of solvents/salts.The discussion starts with unlocking the baseline electrolyte formulation to investigate its role in LiPS formation and compatibility.After that,the term coordination strength is used instead of donor number and dielectric constant to describe interactions between solvents and LiPSs and to reveal LiPS structure evolution.This work is expected to encourage the discovery of new electrolyte working mechanisms to develop energy-dense and power-intensive Li–S batteries.

The endoplasmic reticulum(ER),which is composed of a continuous network of tubules and sheets,forms the most widely distributed membrane system in eukaryotic cells.As a result,it engages a variety of organelles by establishing membrane contact sites(MCSs).These contacts regulate organelle positioning and remodeling,including fusion and fission,facilitate precise lipid exchange,and couple vital signaling events.Here,we systematically review recent advances and converging themes on ER-involved organellar contact.The molecular basis,cellular influence,and potential physiological functions for ER/nuclear envelope contacts with mitochondria,Golgi,endosomes,lysosomes,lipid droplets,autophagosomes,and plasma membrane are summarized.

High-performance solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC) is in urgent need of high-quality electrolyte powders with high reactivity and chemical uniformity.Here,8 mol% Y_(2)O_(3) doped ZrO_(2)(YSZ) nano-powders were synthesized by an improved solid-state reaction method at ambient temperature,and were applied to the fabrication of SOFC electrolytes.YSZ nano-powders show average grain sizes of ^(2)0 nm and high dispersibility,which is comparable with or even better than some other chemical methods.Benefitting from their high reactivity,dense YSZ electrolytes(relative density of 97.9%) can be obtained at a relatively low sintering temperature of 1400℃.The optimized electrical conductivity reaches up to a high value of0.034 S/cm at 800 0C in air.The anode supported single cell with the construction of Ni-YSZ/YSZ/Sm_(0.2)Ce_(0.8)O_(2-δ)(SDC)/La_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Co_(0.2)Fe_(0.8)O_(3-δ)(LSCF) exhibits the peak power density of 0.827 W/cm^(2) at800℃ while taking wet H_(2) as fuels and ambient air as oxidants.

Patterns of taxonomic and phylogenetic beta diversity and their relationships with environmental correlates can help reveal the origin and evolutionary history of regional biota.The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP)harbors an exceptionally diverse flora,however,a phylogenetic perspective has rarely been used to investigate its beta diversity and floristic regions.In this study,we used a phylogenetic approach to identify patterns of beta diversity and quantitatively delimit floristic regions on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.We also examined the relationships between multifaceted beta diversity,geographical distance,and climatic difference,and evaluated the relative importance of various factors(i.e.,climate,topography and history)in shaping patterns of beta diversity.Sørensen dissimilarity indices indicated that patterns of species turnover among sites dominated the QTP.We also found that patterns of both taxonomic and phylogenetic beta diversity were significantly related to geographical distance and climatic difference.The environmental factors that contributed most to these patterns of beta diversity include annual precipitation,mean annual temperature,climatic gradients and climatic instability.Hierarchical dendrograms of dissimilarity and non-metric multidimensional scaling ordination based on phylogenetic beta diversity data identified ten floristic subregions in the QTP.Our results suggest that the contemporary environment and historical climate changes have filtered species composition among sites and eventually determined beta diversity patterns of plants in the QTP.

The problem of fault-tolerant control is discussed for the longitudinal model of an airbreathing hypersonic vehicle （AHV） with actuator faults and external disturbances. Firstly, a fault-tolerant control strategy is presented for the longitudinal model of an AHV, which guarantees that velocity and altitude track their reference trajectories at an exponential convergence rate. However, this method needs to know the minimum value of the actuator efficiency factor and the upper bound of the external disturbances, which makes it not easy to implement. Then an improved adaptive fault-tolerant control scheme is proposed, where two adaptive laws are employed to estimate the upper bound of the external disturbances and the minimum value of the actuator efficiency factor, respectively. Secondly, the problem of designing a control scheme with control constraints is further considered, and a new adaptive fault-tolerant control strategy with input saturation is designed to guarantee that velocity and altitude track their reference trajectories. Finally, simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Composite anti-disturbance resilient control for Markovian jump nonlinear systems with general uncertain transition rate

In this paper, the issue of disturbance observer based resilient control is addressed for Markovian jump nonlinear systems with multiple disturbances and general uncertain transition rates. The disturbances are divided into two parts: one has a bounded H2 norm, and the other is given by an exogenous system. The general uncertain transition rate matrix is composed of unknown elements and uncertain ones. The uncertain transition rate only has a known approximate range. First, the disturbance described by the exogenous system is estimated by a disturbance observer, and its estimation is used for the controller as feedforward compensation. Subsequently, by using the resilient control method, a composite anti-disturbance resilient controller is constructed to guarantee stochastic stability with L2-L∞performance of the closed-loop systems. Subsequently, the Lyapunov stability method and linear matrix inequality technique are applied to obtain the controller gain. Finally, an application example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Enhanced Fracture Toughness of Pressureless-sintered SiC Ceramics by Addition of Graphene

To enhance the fracture toughness of pressureless-sintered SiC ceramic, graphene was introduced as an additive. The effects of graphene contents on the fracture toughness, bending strength, micro-hardness, phase compositions, and microstructure evolutions of the SiC ceramics were investigated in detail by scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and metallographic microscopy. The fracture toughness, bending strength and micro-hardness increased initially, and then decreased with the graphene content increasing from 0 to 5.0 wt%. The highest fracture toughness of 5.65 MPa m1/2 was obtained for sample with 1.0 wt% graphene sintered at 2130 ℃ for 1 h in At, which was about 22.6% higher than that of SiC sample without graphene. In addition, the highest bending strength and microhardness of 434.14 MPa and 29.21 GPa corresponded to the SiC samples with graphene content of 0.5 wt% and 2.0 wt%, respectively.

探索水氮施用对玉米光合参数及产出指标的影响规律,寻求适宜水氮耦合量,为西辽河流域水肥管理提供理论和应用参考。膜下滴灌田间试验设置三种灌溉水平与三种施氮量组合形成9个处理,对比分析不同水氮组合作用效果。结果表明,水氮两因素对玉米光合速率Pn、蒸腾速率Tr、气孔导度Gs、胞间二氧化碳浓度Ci影响程度表现为灌水>施氮,对叶片水分利用效率WUE影响程度表现为施氮>灌水。对于Pn,W_(2)N_(2)(中水中氮)显著高于W_(3)N_(1)(高水低氮)、对于Tr,W_(2)N_(2)和W_(3)N_(1)差异不显著,因此灌溉量由中水至高水(1802~2315 m^(3)·hm^(-2))对Pn提升作用无法补偿中氮240 kg·hm^(-2)降至低氮192 kg·hm^(-2)对Pn的削弱作用,但可补偿对Tr的负效应。中高灌溉水平下氮肥192~240 kg·hm^(-2)可有效提升Pn、Tr、百粒重、穗粒重(W_(2)N_(2)显著高于W_(2)N_(1)、W_(3)N_(2)显著高于W_(3)N_(1)),继续施氮无显著作用。玉米产量提升与Pn、Tr增大呈正相关,水分亏缺时中氮240 kg·hm^(-2)至高氮288 kg·hm^(-2)无明显增产作用,中等灌溉水平下氮肥增产效果显著。W_(3)N_(2)(高水中氮)耦合下玉米可获得最佳光合能力及产量水平,但超过W_(2)N_(2)(中水中氮)的耦合量对WUE无增效、降低光合产物在籽粒中的分配比例。综合考虑光合参数及产量,推荐中等至较高的灌溉水平1802~2315 m^(3)·hm^(-2)(W2~W3)与中等施氮水平240 kg·hm^(-2)(N2)为最优水氮耦合量。
