The loading capacity in the axial direction of a bolted thin steel plate was investigated.A refined numerical model of bolt was first constructed and then validated using existing experiment *** analysis was performed to reveal the influences of geometric parameters,including the effective depth of the cap nut,the yield strength of the steel plate,the preload of the bolt,and shear force,on the ultimate loading ***,an analytical method was proposed to predict the ultimate load of the bolted thin steel *** derived using the numerical and analytical methods were compared and the results indicated that the analytical method can accurately predict the pull-through capacity of bolted thin steel *** work reported in this paper can provide a simplified calculation method for the loading capacity in the axial direction of a bolt.

Nanofiber membranes from the composite of cellulose acetate/polyvinylpyrrolidone were prepared using electrospinning technique. After treated with water and alcoholic KOH to remove partially polyvinylpyrrolidone and deacetylate the cellulose acetate, the membranes were further functionalized with thiol groups using thioglycolic acid. Related materials were characterized using infrared and thermogravimetric analysis. And the results showed that the membranes were success of functionalisation. Then the nanofiber membranes were used in the sorption-desorption process. The effects of pH, contacting time and adsorption capacity of nanofiber membranes were studied against Cu（II）, Cd（II） and Pb（II） ions. And the maximum adsorption capacities of Pb （II）, Cu （II）, and Cd （II） ions were estimated at 30.96, 19.63, 34.70 mg g-1. Our results suggested that the adsorption be- haviour of metal ions could be described using Langmuir model. Their adsorption kinetics was in agreement with the model of pseudo-second order, suggesting chemical adsorption as the rate-limiting step of the adsorption mechanism. The durability of the thiol-functionalized cellulose nanofiber membranes was also evaluated by repetitive adsorption-desorption.

The low-temperature specific heat of Ni4 single-molecule magnets (SMMs) is measured in a PPMS He-3 system. The tem- perature-dependent specific heat of Ni4 SMMs shows an antiferromagnetic phase transition at 0.91 K. The experimental results are in good consistency with Monte Carlo simulation of 3D-Ising model, indicating two independent diamond-like antiferro-magnetic structures with an exchange energy J = 0.020 K in Ni4 system.

A three-wave based laser polarimeter/interferometer and a CO_(2)laser dispersion interferometer are used to determine the electron and current density profiles on a Chinese fusion engineering test reactor(CFETR).Radiation shielding is designed for the combination of polarimeter/interferometer and CO_(2)dispersion ***,neutronics models of the two systems are developed based on the engineering-integrated design of CFETR polarimeter/interferometer and CO_(2)dispersion interferometer and the major material components of *** polarimeter/interferometer and CO_(2)dispersion interferometer's neutron and photon transport simulations were performed using the Monte Carlo neutral transport code to determine the energy deposition and neutron energy spectrum of the optical *** energy depositions of the first mirrors on the polarimeter/interferometer are reduced by three orders with the whole *** the mirrors of CO_(2)dispersion interferometer are very close to the diagnostic first wall,shielding space is limited and the CO_(2)dispersion interferometer energy deposition is higher than that of the polarimeter/*** dose rate after shutdown106s in the back-drawer structure has been estimated to be 83μSv h^(-1)when the radiation shield is filled in the diagnostic shielding modules,which is below the design threshold of 100μSv h^(-1).Radiation shielding design plays a key role in successfully applying polarimeter/interferometer and CO_(2)dispersive interferometer in CFETR.

A millimeter wave solid state source—far infrared laser combined interferometer system(MFCI)consisting of a three-channel 890 GHz hydrogen cyanide(HCN)laser interferometer and a threechannel 340 GHz solid state source interferometer(SSI)is developed for real-time line-integrated electron density feedback and electron density profile of the EXL-50 spherical tokamak *** interferometer system is a Mach–Zehnder type,with all probe-channels measured vertically,covering the plasma magnetic axis to the outermost closed magnetic *** HCN laser interferometer uses an HCN laser with a frequency of 890 GHz as a light source and modulates a100 k Hz beat signal by a rotating grating,giving a temporal resolution of 10μ*** SSI uses two independent 340 GHz solid-state diode sources as the light source,the frequency of the two sources is adjustable,and the temporal resolution of SSI can reach 1μs by setting the frequency difference of the two lasers at 1 *** main optical path of the two interferometers is compactly installed on a set of double-layer optical platform directly below *** optical path design using corner cube reflectors avoids the large support *** the probebeams of two wavelengths,then the phase error caused by vibration can be *** present,the phase noise of the HCN Interferometer is 0.08 rad,corresponding to a line-integrated electron density of 0.88×10^(17)m^(-2),one channel of measuring result was obtained by the MFCI system,and the highest density measured is about 0.7×10^(19)m^(-2).

A pilot single-channel Motional Stark Effect（MSE） diagnostic has been developed on EAST since 2015. The dual photo-elastic modulators（PEM） were employed to encode the polarization angle into a time-varying signal. The pitch angle was related to the ratio of modulation amplitude at the second harmonic frequency. A digital harmonic analyzer（DHA） technique was developed for extracting the second harmonic amplitude. The results were validated with a hardware phase lock-in amplifier, and is also consistent with the software dual phase-locking algorithm.

Reverse-sheared Alfv6n eigenmodes （RSAEs） have been observed by using an interferometer and ECE diagnostics in NBI heated ELMy H-mode plasma on EAST tokamak. A typical feature of these modes is a fast frequency sweeping upward from -80 kHz to -110 kHz in hundred milliseconds during which the plasma temperature, density and rotation keeps no change. Only core channels of the interferometer can observe these modes, implying a core localized mode. The ECE measurement further showed that these modes located at about ρ = 0.37-0.46, just around the position of qmin with ρ -0.4. These core localized modes are very weak in the magnetic fluctuations measured by mirnov probes mounted at the machine vacuum vessel. A multiple frequency fluctuation component, seemingly the so-called ＇grand cascades＇, was also clearly observed on the ECE signal at ρ = 0.46. During the phase, a transient internal transport barrier （ITB） in ion temperature and toroidal rotation was observed and the ITB foot was just close to the position of qmin. A modulation of RSAE frequency by ELM event was observed and this modulation could be attributed to rotation decrease or qmin increase due to ELM. Further study of these modes in EAST can provide valuable constraints for the q profile measurement and will be important for the long pulse operation.

Quorum sensing(Qs)inhibition has emerged as a promising target for directed drug design,providing an appealing strategy for developing antimicrobials,particularly against infections caused by drug-resistant *** this study,we designed and synthesized a total of 33β-nitrostyrene derivatives using 1-nitro-2-phenylethane(NPe)as the lead compound,to target the facultative anaerobic bacterial pathogen Serratia *** QS-inhibitory effects of these compounds were evaluated using *** NJ01 and the reporter strain Chromobacterium violaceum *** the 33 newβ-nitrostyrene derivatives,(E)-1-methyl-4-(2-nitrovinyl)benzene(m-NPe,compound 28)was proven to be a potent inhibitor that reduced biofilm formation of *** NJ01 by 79%.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and confocal laser scanning microscopy(CLSM)results revealed that treatment with m-NPe(50μg/ml)not only enhanced the susceptibility of the formed biofilms but also disrupted the architecture of biofilms by 84%.m-NPe(50μg/ml)decreased virulence factors in *** NJ01,reducing the activity of protease,prodigiosin,and extracellular polysaccharide(EPs)by 36%,72%,and 52%,*** *** 4547,the activities of hemolysin and EPs were reduced by 28%and 40%,respectively,outperforming the positive control,vanillic acid(VAN).The study also found that the expression levels of QS-and biofilm-related genes(flhD,fimA,fimC,sodB,bsmB,pigA,pigC,and shlA)were downregulated by 1.21-to *** dynamics analysis showed that m-NPe could bind stably to SmaR,Rhll,RhiR,LasR,and CviR proteins in a 0.1 M sodium chloride ***,a microscale thermophoresis(MST)test revealed that SmaR could be a target protein for the screening of a quorum sensing inhibitor(QSl)against ***,this study highlights the efficacy of m-NPe in suppressing the virulence factors of ***,identifying it as a new potential Qsl and antibiofilm agent capable of restoring or improv
