BACKGROUND Acute myocardial infarction(AMI)during pregnancy is rare,especially in twin pregnancy,and it can endanger the lives of the mother and *** for conventional cardiovascular risk factors,pregnancy and assisted reproduction can increase the risk of AMI during *** develops secondary to different etiologies,such as coronary spasm and spontaneous coronary artery *** SUMMARY A 33-year-old woman,with twin pregnancy in the 31st week of gestation,presented to the hospital with intermittent chest tightness for 12 wk,aggravation for 1 wk,and chest pain for 4 *** with the electrocardiogram and hypersensitive troponin results,she was diagnosed with acute ST-elevation myocardial *** the patient had no related medical history,she presented several risk factors,such as age greater than 30 years,assisted reproduction,and *** diagnosis,the patient received antiplatelet and anticoagulant *** section and coronary angiography performed 7 d later showed stenosis and thrombus shadow of the right coronary *** receiving medication,the patient was in good *** This case suggests that,with the widespread use of assisted reproductive technology,more attention should be paid to perinatal healthcare,especially when chest pain occurs,to facilitate early diagnosis and intervention of AMI,and the etiology of AMI in pregnancy needs to be differentiated,especially between coronary spasm and spontaneous coronary artery dissection.

The fatigue damage caused by flow-induced vibration(FIV)is one of the major concerns for multiple cylindrical structures in many engineering *** FIV suppression is of great importance for the security of many cylindrical *** active and passive control methods have been employed for the vibration suppression of an isolated cylinder undergoing vortex-induced vibrations(VIV).The FIV suppression methods are mainly extended to the multiple cylinders from the vibration control of the isolated *** to the mutual interference between the multiple cylinders,the FIV mechanism is more complex than the VIV mechanism,which makes a great challenge for the FIV *** efforts have been devoted to vibration suppression of multiple cylinder systems undergoing FIV over the past two *** control methods,such as helical strakes,splitter plates,control rods and flexible sheets,are not always effective,depending on many influence factors,such as the spacing ratio,the arrangement geometrical shape,the flow velocity and the parameters of the vibration control *** FIV response,hydrodynamic features and wake patterns of the multiple cylinders equipped with vibration control devices are reviewed and *** FIV suppression efficiency of the vibration control methods are analyzed and compared considering different influence *** research on the FIV suppression of multiple cylinders is suggested to provide insight for the development of FIV control methods and promote engineering applications of FIV control methods.

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) is a distinct medical system that deals with the life-health-disease-environment relationship using holistic, dynamic, and dialectical thinking. However, reductionism has often restricted the conventional studies on TCM, and these studies did not investigate the central concepts of TCM theory about the multiple relationships among life, health, disease, and environment. Complex network analysis describes a wide variety of complex systems in the real world, and it has the potential to bridge the gap between TCM and modern science owing to the holism of TCM theory. This article summarizes the current research involving TCM network analysis and highlights the computational tools and analysis methods involved in this research. Finally, to inspire a new approach, the article discussed the potential problems underlying the application of TCM network analysis.

360°videos enable viewers to watch freely from different directions but inevitably prevent them from perceiving all the helpful *** mitigate this problem,picture-in-picture(PIP)guidance was proposed using preview windows to show regions of interest(ROIs)outside the current view *** identify several drawbacks of this representation and propose a new method for 360° film watching called *** enhances traditional PIP by adaptively arranging preview windows with changeable view ranges and *** addition,AdaPIP incorporates the advantage of arrow-based guidance by presenting circular windows with arrows attached to them to help users locate the corresponding ROIs more *** also adapted AdaPIP and Outside-In to HMD-based immersive virtual reality environments to demonstrate the usability of PIP-guided approaches beyond 2D *** user experiments on 2D screens,as well as in VR environments,indicate that AdaPIP is superior to alternative methods in terms of visual experiences while maintaining a comparable degree of immersion.

BACKGROUND N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)is often viewed as an indicator for heart ***,the prognostic association and the predictive utility of NT-proBNP for postoperative major adverse cardiovascular events(MACEs)and myocardial injury after noncardiac surgery(MINS)among older patients are *** In this study,we included 5033 patients aged 65 years or older who underwent noncardiac surgery with preoperative NT-proBNP *** regression was adopted to model the associations between preoperative NT-proBNP and the risk of MACEs and *** receiver operating characteristic curve was used to determine the predictive value of *** A total of 5033 patients were enrolled,63 patients(1.25%)and 525 patients(10.43%)had incident postoperative MACEs and MINS,*** of the receiver operating characteristic curve indicated that the cutoff values of ln(NT-proBNP)for MACEs and MINS were 5.16(174 pg/mL)and 5.30(200 pg/mL),*** preoperative ln(NT-proBNP)to the Revised Cardiac Risk Index score and the Cardiac and Stroke Risk Model boosted the area under the receiver operating characteristic curves from 0.682 to 0.726 and 0.787 to 0.804,*** inclusion of preoperative NT-proBNP in the prediction models significantly increased the reclassification and *** Increased preoperative NT-proBNP was associated with a higher risk of postoperative MACEs and *** inclusion of NT-proBNP enhances the predictive ability of the preexisting models.

A time-synchronization strategy for packetized transmission of target position about a large-aperture telescope observation control system has been proposed in this *** with the existing telescope tracking strategy,the target position packing and sending strategy based on the time synchronization method proposed in this paper has the advantages of high stability and ***,the telescope tracking observation control method was elaborated in this paper,including the motion pattern during telescope ***,the strategy for packetizes transmission of target positions based on time-synchronization is established and lists the detailed ***,the performance of the tracking strategy is verified using the 2.5 m telescope for the simulated uniform speed star and the blind-tracking fixed star HIP 31216,*** test results show that the accuracy root mean square of the tracking strategy proposed in this paper is less than 0".02 at 30 minutes,and the performance is much better than the design requirement of 0".*** most important advantage of this tracking strategy is that the telescope can guarantee normal tracking for a certain period of time even if the hardware or software of the host computer is abnormal.

Semi-interpenetrating(semi-IPN)hydrogels formed by the continuous interpenetration of cross-linked polymer network and linear non-crosslinked polymer with multifunctionality are widely used in biomedical and other ***,the negative impact of linear polymer on the homogeneity of the cross-linked network often leads to a decrease in the mechanical properties of semi-IPN hydrogels and severely limits their ***,a bioinspired hydrogen-bonding induced phase separation strategy is presented to construct the tough semi-IPN polyvinylpyrrolidone/polyacrylamide hydrogels(named PVP/PAM hydrogels),including the linear polymer polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)and cross-linked polyacrylamide(PAM)*** resultant PVPx/PAM hydrogels exhibit unique phase separation induced by the hydrogen bonding between PVP and PAM and affected by the amount of substance of ***,the phase separation of PVPx/PAM hydrogels results in excellent mechanical properties with a strain of 2590%,tensile strength of 0.28 MPa and toughness of 2.17 MJ/m^(3).More importantly,the hydrogen bonding between PVP and PAM firstly disrupts to dissipate energy under external forces,so the PVPx/PAM hydrogels exhibit good self-recovery properties and outperform chemically cross-linked PAM hydrogels in impact resistance and damping *** is believed that the PVPx/PAM hydrogels with hydrogen-bonding induced phase separation possess more potential application prospects.

AIM:To assess the performance of macular ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer thickness(mGCIPLT)and 10-2 visual field(VF)parameters in detecting early glaucoma and evaluating the severity of advanced ***:Totally 127 eyes from 89 participants(36 eyes of 19 healthy participants,45 eyes of 31 early glaucoma patients and 46 eyes of 39 advanced glaucoma patients)were *** relationships between the optical coherence tomography(OCT)-derived parameters and VF sensitivity were *** with early glaucoma were divided into eyes with or without central 10°of the VF damages(CVFDs),and the diagnostic performances of OCT-derived parameters were ***:In early glaucoma,the mGCIPLT was significantly correlated with 10-2 VF pattern standard deviation(PSD;with average mGCIPLT:β=-0.046,95%CI,-0.067 to-0.024,P<0.001).In advanced glaucoma,the mGCIPLT was related to the 24-2 VF mean deviation(MD;with average mGCIPLT:β=0.397,95%CI,0.199 to 0.595,P<0.001),10-2 VF MD(with average mGCIPLT:β=0.762,95%CI,0.485 to 1.038,P<0.001)and 24-2 VF PSD(with average mGCIPLT:β=0.244,95%CI,0.124 to 0.364,P<0.001).Except for the minimum and superotemporal mGCIPLT,the decrease of mGCIPLT in early glaucomatous eyes with CVFDs was more severe than that of early glaucomatous eyes without *** area under the curve(AUC)of the average mGCIPLT(AUC=0.949,95%CI,0.868 to 0.982)was greater than that of the average circumpapillary retinal nerve fiber layer thickness(cpRNFLT;AUC=0.827,95%CI,0.674 to 0.918)and rim area(AUC=0.799,95%CI,0.610 to 0.907)in early glaucomatous eyes with CVFDs versus normal ***:The 10-2 VF and mGCIPLT parameters are complementary to 24-2 VF,cpRNFLT and ONH parameters,especially in detecting early glaucoma with CVFDs and evaluating the severity of advanced glaucoma in group level.
