In this work,a multi-phase Zr-30Ti-7Nb-4Sn alloy with large near-linear elastic deformability was prepared by the solution treatment plus pre-straining(S TP)treatment,and the underlying mechanism accountable for the near-linear elastic deformation was systematically *** was found that the Zr-30Ti-7Nb-4Sn alloy was composed ofβ,α″andα′phases,and numerous dislocations were formed in the alloy specimen after STP *** the retarding effect of high-density dislocations,the stress-induced martensitic(SIM)transformation fromβtoα″phases took place homogeneously and continuously during loading,in conjunction with the occurrence of elastic deformation ofβ,α″andα′*** the entire tensile procedure,no observable phase transformation occurred betweenα′martensite andβ***,the near-linear elastic deformation capability in STP Zr-30Ti-7Nb-4Sn alloy is mainly ascribed to the coupling actions of consecutiveβ→α″SIM transformation and intrinsic elastic deformation ofβ,α″andα′*** experimental results provide a basis for designing and developing novel multi-phase Zr-based alloys that possess large near-linear deformability.

To develop a new compound heat treatment process for improving the mechanical properties of die-cast Al alloys,this study investigated the effects of cryogenic,solution and aging compound treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of die-cast Al *** characterization methods used were optical microscopy(OM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD),and tensile tests;and the Image Pro Plus software was used for statistical *** results indicated that compared with T6 heat treatment,the compound heat treatment process consisting of cryogenic treatment(-196.C for 12 h),solid solution treatment(476.C for 22 min),and aging(159.C for 403 min)significantly enhanced the mechanical properties of the diecast Al *** instance,the tensile strength increased from 224.3 to 249.5 MPa;the hardness increased from HV110.5 to HV 124.6,and the elongation increased from6.28%to 7.72%,which in relative terms corresponds to11.2%,12.8%and 22.9%,*** compound heat treatment process of the alloy led to significant refinement of its a-Al *** addition,Si phases tended to be more ellipsoidal or granular,while the tips of Fecontaining phases became rounded,which played a key role in enhancing the mechanical properties and microstructure stability of the alloys.

The micromechanical behavior of a recently developed TiNb/NiTi composite during a pre-straining process was investigated to broaden the understanding of deformation mechanisms of the martensitic-transforming *** was found that during loading,besides inherent elastic elongation,the TiNb/NiTi composite also experienced two different categories of stress-induced martensitic transformations(SIMTs,including B2→B19’andβ→α")and slight plastic *** the following unloading,this composite recovered elastically,and underwent simultaneously a fully reversibleα"→βSIMT as well as a partially reversible B19’→B2 *** was the incomplete B19’→B2 SIMT and the permanent plastic deformation that led to the~4.6%macroscopic residual strain after *** the entire loading-unloading procedure,the growth and shrinkage of(001)compound twins in B19’martensite also contributed to the large nearlinear-elastic deformation of the present composite.

Soil aggregate is the basic structural unit of soil,which is the foundation for supporting ecosystem functions,while its composition and stability is significantly affected by the external *** study was conducted to explore the effect of external environment(wetting-drying cycles and acidic conditions)on the soil aggregate distribution and stability and identify the key soil physicochemical factors that affect the soil aggregate *** yellow‒brown soil from the Three Gorges Reservoir area(TGRA)was used,and 8 wetting-drying conditions(0,1,2,3,4,5,10 and 15 cycles)were simulated under 4 acidic conditions(pH=3,4,5 and 7).The particle size distribution and soil aggregate stability were determined by wet sieving method,the contribution of environmental factors(acid condition,wetting-drying cycle and their combined action)to the soil aggregate stability was clarified and the key soil physicochemical factors that affect the soil aggregate stability under wetting-drying cycles and acidic conditions were determined by using the Pearson’s correlation analysis,Partial least squares path modeling(PLS‒PM)and multiple linear regression *** results indicate that wetting-drying cycles and acidic conditions have significant effects on the stability of soil aggregates,the soil aggregate stability gradually decreases with increasing number of wetting-drying cycles and it obviously decreases with the increase of ***,the combination of wetting-drying cycles and acidic conditions aggravate the reduction in the soil aggregate *** wetting-drying cycles,acidic conditions and their combined effect imposes significant impact on the soil aggregate stability,and the wetting-drying cycles exert the greatest *** soil aggregate stability is significantly correlated with the pH,Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+),maximum disintegration index(MDI)and soil bulk density(SBD).The PLS‒PM and multiple linear regression analysis further reveal that the soil aggre

Asperuloside Promotes Apoptosis of Cervical Cancer Cells through Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress-Mitochondrial Pathway

Objective: To investigate the effects of asperuloside on cervical cancer based on endoplasmic reticulum(ER) stress and mitochondrial pathway. Methods: Different doses(12.5–800 μg/mL) of asperuloside were used to treat cervical cancer cell lines Hela and CaSki to calculate the half maximal inhibitory concentration(IC_(50)) of asperuloside. The cell proliferation was analyzed by clone formation assay. Cell apoptosis, intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS) and mitochondrial membrane potential were determined by flow cytometry. The protein expressions of cleaved-caspase-3, Bcl-2, Bax, Cyt-c, cleaved-caspase-4 and glucose-regulated protein 78(GRP78) were analyzed by Western blot. And the inhibitor of ER stress, 4-phenyl butyric acid(4-PBA) was used to treat cervical cancer cells to further verify the role of ER stress in the apoptosis of cervical cancer cells induced by asperuloside. Results: Asperuloside of 325, 650, and 1300 μg/mL significantly inhibited the proliferation and promoted apoptosis of Hela and CaSki cells(P<0.01). All doses of asperuloside significantly increased intracellular ROS levels, reduced mitochondrial membrane potential, significantly reduced Bcl-2 protein expression level, and increased Bax, Cyt-c, GRP78 and cleaved-caspase-4 expressions(P<0.01). In addition, 10 mmol/L 4-PBA treatment significantly promoted cell proliferation and reduced apoptosis(P<0.05), and 650 μg/mL asperuloside could reverse 4-PBA-induced increased cell proliferation, decreased apoptosis and cleaved-caspase-3,-4 and GRP78 protein expressions(P<0.05). Conclusion: Our study revealed the role of asperuloside in cervical cancer, suggesting that asperuloside promotes apoptosis of cervical cancer cells through ER stress-mitochondrial pathway.

Electrocatalytic reduction of nitrate(NO_(3)^(−))and nitride(NO_(2)^(−))to ammonia(NH3)is of wide interest as a promising alternative to the energy-intensive Haber-Bosch route for mitigating the vast energy consumption and the accompanied carbon dioxide emission,as well as benefiting for the relevant sewage ***,exploring an efficient and low-cost catalyst with high atomic utilization that can effectively facilitate the slow multi-electron transfer process remains a grand ***,we present an efficient hydrogenation of NO_(3)^(−)/NO_(2)^(−)species to NH3 in both alkaline and neutral environments over the Fe_(2)(MoO_(4))_(3)derived hybrid electrocatalyst with the metallic Fe site on FeMoO_(4)(Fe/FeMoO_(4)).The Mo ingredient can play a synergistically positive role in further promoting the NH3 production on *** a result,Fe/FeMoO_(4)behaves well in the electrochemical NH3 generation from NO_(2)^(−)with a maximum NH3 Faradaic efficiency(FE)of 96.53%and 87.68%in alkaline and neutral electrolyte,corresponding to the NH3 yield rate of 640.68 and 302.56 mg·h^(−1)·mgcat.^(−1),respectively,which outperforms the Fe and Mo counterpart and other similar catalyst,showing the robust catalytic capacity of each active site.

Accurate measurements of the radon exhalation rate help identify and evaluate radon risk regions in the *** these measurement methods,the closed-loop method is frequently ***,traditional experiments are insufficient or cannot analyze the radon migration and exhalation patterns at the gas–solid interface in the accumulation *** CFD-based technique was applied to predict the radon concentration distribution in a limited space,allowing radon accumulation and exhalation inside the chamber intuitively and *** this study,three radon exhalation rates were defined,and two structural ventilation tubes were designed for the *** consistency of the simulated results with the variation in the radon exhalation rate in a previous experiment or analytical solution was *** effects of the vent tube structure and flow rate on the radon uniformity in the chamber;permeability,insertion depth,and flow rate on the radon exhalation rate and the effective diffusion coefficient on back-diffusion were *** on the results,increasing the inser-tion depth from 1 to 5 cm decreased the effective decay constant by 19.55%,whereas the curve-fitted radon exhalation rate decreased(lower than the initial value)as the deviation from the initial value increased by approximately 7%.Increasing the effective diffusion coefficient from 2.77×10^(-7) to 7.77×10^(-6) m^(2) s^(-1) made the deviation expand from 2.14 to 15.96%.The conclusion is that an increased insertion depth helps reduce leakage in the chamber,subject to notable back-diffusion,and that the closed-loop method is reasonably used for porous media with a low effective diffusion coefficient in view of the back-diffusion *** CFD-based simulation is expected to provide guidance for the optimization of the radon exhalation rate measurement method and,thus,the accurate measurement of the radon exhalation rate.
