For reservoirs with complex non-Gaussian geological characteristics,such as carbonate reservoirs or reservoirs with sedimentary facies distribution,it is difficult to implement history matching directly,especially for the ensemble-based data assimilation methods.In this paper,we propose a multi-source information fused generative adversarial network(MSIGAN)model,which is used for parameterization of the complex geologies.In MSIGAN,various information such as facies distribution,microseismic,and inter-well connectivity,can be integrated to learn the geological features.And two major generative models in deep learning,variational autoencoder(VAE)and generative adversarial network(GAN)are combined in our model.Then the proposed MSIGAN model is integrated into the ensemble smoother with multiple data assimilation(ESMDA)method to conduct history matching.We tested the proposed method on two reservoir models with fluvial facies.The experimental results show that the proposed MSIGAN model can effectively learn the complex geological features,which can promote the accuracy of history matching.

The visible-light imaging system used in military equipment is often subjected to severe weather conditions, such as fog, haze, and smoke, under complex lighting conditions at night that significantly degrade the acquired images. Currently available image defogging methods are mostly suitable for environments with natural light in the daytime, but the clarity of images captured under complex lighting conditions and spatial changes in the presence of fog at night is not satisfactory. This study proposes an algorithm to remove night fog from single images based on an analysis of the statistical characteristics of images in scenes involving night fog. Color channel transfer is designed to compensate for the high attenuation channel of foggy images acquired at night. The distribution of transmittance is estimated by the deep convolutional network DehazeNet, and the spatial variation of atmospheric light is estimated in a point-by-point manner according to the maximum reflection prior to recover the clear image. The results of experiments show that the proposed method can compensate for the high attenuation channel of foggy images at night, remove the effect of glow from a multi-color and non-uniform ambient source of light, and improve the adaptability and visual effect of the removal of night fog from images compared with the conventional method.

Nano-infrared(nanoIR)probes play a crucial role as nano-mechanical sensors and antennas for light absorption and emission,and their testing performance is critically dependent on their optical properties and structural stability.Graphene-coated dielectric probes are highly attractive for enhancing light–matter interactions and integrating IR photonics,providing a broadband optical response and strong electromagnetic field.However,achieving continuous single-layer graphene growth on non-planar and non-single crystalline dielectrics is a significant challenge due to the low surface energy of the dielectric and the large difference in size between the probe tip,cantilever,and substrate.Herein,we present a novel method for the growth of high-quality and continuous graphene with good conductivity on non-planar and amorphous dielectric probe surfaces using manganese oxide powder-assisted short time heating chemical vapor deposition.The resulting graphene-coated dielectric probes exhibit an average IR reflectance of only 5%in the mid-IR band,significantly outperforming probes without continuous graphene coating.Such probes can not only effectively transduce the local photothermal sample expansion caused by the absorption of IR laser pulses,but also effectively scatter near-field light,which is 25 times stronger than the commercial metal-coated probes,and have advantages in the application of nanoIR sensing based on atomic force microscope-based infrared(AFM-IR)spectroscopy and infrared scattering scanning near field optical microscopy(IR s-SNOM)principles.Furthermore,our graphene growth method provides a solution for growing high-quality graphene on the surfaces of non-planar dielectric materials required for integrated circuits and other fields.

Objective To investigate the regulatory relationship of Protein Phosphatase 2 Regulatory Subunit B"Alpha(PPP2R3A)and hexokinase 1(HK1)in glycolysis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods In HepG2 and Huh7 cells,PPP2R3A expression was silenced by small interfering RNA(siRNA)and overexpression by plasmid transfection.The PPP2R3A-related genes were searched by RNA sequencing.Glycolysis levels were measured by glucose uptake and lactate production.QRT-PCR,ELISA,western blot and immunofluorescence assay were performed to detect the changes of PPP2R3A and HK1.Cell proliferation,migration and invasion assay were used to study the roles of HK1 regulation by PPP2R3A.Results RNA sequencing data revealed that PPP2R3A siRNA significantly downregulated the expression of HK1.PPP2R3A gene overexpression promotes,while gene silencing suppresses,the level of HK1 and glycolysis in HCC cells.In HCC tissue samples,PPP2R3A and HK1 were colocalized in the cytoplasm,and their expression showed a positive correlation.HK1 inhibition abrogated the promotion of glycolysis,proliferation,migration and invasion by PPP2R3A overexpression in liver cancer cells.Conclusion Our findings showed the correlation of PPP2R3A and HK1 in the glycolysis of HCC,which reveals a new mechanism for the oncogenic roles of PPP2R3A in cancer.

The effect of sintering and cooling process on geometry distortion and mechanical properties transition of PTFE/Al reactive materials

In this research,the effect of the sintering and cooling process on geometry distortion and mechanical properties of PTFE/Al reactive material is investigated.Six particularly selected sintering temperatures,three different cooling modes(annealing cooling,normalizing cooling and rapid cooling),three different initial cooling temperature s,as well as six different final cooling temperatures were designed to compare the effects of sintering temperature,cooling rate,initial cooling temperature and final cooling temperature on the properties of reactive materials.Geometry distortion was quantitatively analyzed by a statistic on the dimensional changes of the specimens and microscopic morphology.A mechanical response properties transition from brittle to ductile was found and analyzed.By combining the thermodynamic properties of PTFE and unsteady heat conduction theory,mechanisms of cooling induced morphology change,temperature induced distortion and strength decrease were obtained.The results showed that the cooling rate has the most significant effect on the morphology transformation,while initial cooling temperature has more significant effect on the dimensional distortion than final cooling temperature.As to the mechanical properties transition from brittle to plastic,a more prominent effect of initial cooling temperature than cooling rate and final temperature was revealed.

In this paper,the interactions between extreme waves and a vertical cylinder are investigated through a 3-D two-phase flow model.The numerical model is verified and validated by experimental data.Then,two factors are considered,the global wave steepness and the frequency bandwidth of the wave groups,in the studies of the in-line wave forces and the wave run-up around a cylinder.It is found that both the in-line wave forces and the wave run-up are remarkably increased with the increase of the global wave steepness,whereas the effect of the frequency bandwidth on the in-line wave forces is relatively weak in comparison with its effect on the wave run-up.The minimum and maximum wave run-ups are located in the directions of 22.5°and 180°with respect to the direction of the incident waves,respectively.Additionally,a new empirical formula is proposed for predicting the in-line wave forces by using only the free surface elevations around the cylinder.The results of the formula agree well with the simulation results.

Fragility is one of the central concepts in glass and liquid sciences,as it characterizes the extent of deviation of viscosity from Arrhenius behavior and is linked to a range of glass properties.However,the intervention of crystallization often prevents the assessment of fragility in poor glass-formers,such as supercooled metallic liquids.Hence experimental data on their compositional dependence are scarce,let alone fundamentally understood.In this work,we use fast scanning calorimetry to overcome this obstacle and systematically study the fragility in a ternary La–Ni–Al system,over previously inaccessible composition space.We observe fragility dropped in a small range with the Al alloying,indicating an alloying-induced fragility crossover.We use x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,resistance measurements,electronic structure calculations,and DFT-based deep-learning atomic simulations to investigate the cause of this fragility drop.These results show that the fragility crossover can be fundamentally ascribed to the electronic covalency associated with the unique Al–Al interactions.Our findings provide insight into the origin of fragility in metallic liquids from an electronic structure perspective and pave a new way for the design of metallic glasses.
