Concurrent toughening and hardening in AgMgNi alloys by internal oxidation

Enhancing the ductility of internally oxidized AgMg alloys has posed a longstanding challenge.A new method to achieve simultaneous hardening and toughening of AgMgNi alloys is presented by means of internal *** influence of Ni content on the internal oxidation process and the mechanical behavior of AgMgNi alloys is systematically *** is found that Ni addition induces grain refinement by forming nanoscale Ni particles,which act as heterogeneous nucleation sites and inhibit grain growth during internal *** enhances the plasticity and toughness of the alloys via the Hall-Petch *** alloys exhibit a conductivity of ～42 MS·m-1and surface hardness of ～HV125,which are insensitive to the variation of Ni content within 0 wt%-2 wt%.The optimal range of Ni content for achieving the best combination of hardness,strength and toughness is0.15 wt%-0.3 wt%,corresponding to alloys with a tensile strength above 300 MPa and a toughness surpassing3300 MJ·*** Ni contents reduce the internal oxidation depth（from about 340.6 to about 238.4 μm） and the tensile strength（from about 342.1 to about 230.1 MPa）of the alloys by generating micrometer-sized Ni-rich particles in the matrix,which consume oxygen,obstruct some of the oxygen diffusion channels and impede the oxidation front *** non-oxidized region,which does not benefit from oxidation strengthening,diminishes the overall strength of the *** results reveal the crucial role of Ni in regulating the internal oxidation dynamics and microstructure evolution of AgMgNi alloys,and suggest a novel approach for designing high-performance alloys with concurrent hardening and toughening.

Effects of Fuzhenghuayu decoction on collagen synthesis of cultured hepatic stellate cells,hepatocytes and fibroblasts in rats

AIM To study the mechanism of Fuzhenghuayu (FZHY) decoction on anti liver fibrosis. METHODS FZHY 10% decoction sera was incubated with rat normal subcultured hepatic stellate cells (HSC) and fibrotic primarily cultured HSC, normal and fibrotic hepatocytes and subcultured skin fibroblasts separately. Cell intracellular and extracellular collagen synthesis rates were measured by the method of Proline impulse and collagenase digestion. RESULTS For primarily cultured HSC and hepatocytes, both of intracellular and extracellular collagen synthesis rates decreased in the drug sera group. For the normal subcultured HSC and primarily cultured hepatocytes, the extracellular collagen secretion was decreased obviously by the drug sera, and intracellular collagen synthesis rates were inhibited to some extents. For fibroblasts, both intracellular and extracellular collagen synthesis rates were inhibited some what, but no significant differences were found. CONCLUSION The mechanism of FZHY decoction on anti liver fibrosis may be associated with inhibition of liver collagen production.

RE-SEGNN:recurrent semantic evidence-aware graph neural network for temporal knowledge graph forecasting

Temporal knowledge graph(TKG) reasoning, has seen widespread use for modeling real-world events, particularly in extrapolation settings. Nevertheless, most previous studies are embedded models, which require both entity and relation embedding to make predictions, ignoring the semantic correlations among different entities and relations within the same timestamp. This can lead to random and nonsensical predictions when unseen entities or relations occur. Furthermore, many existing models exhibit limitations in handling highly correlated historical facts with extensive temporal depth. They often either overlook such facts or overly accentuate the relationships between recurring past occurrences and their current counterparts. Due to the dynamic nature of TKG, effectively capturing the evolving semantics between different timestamps can be *** address these shortcomings, we propose the recurrent semantic evidenceaware graph neural network(RE-SEGNN), a novel graph neural network that can learn the semantics of entities and relations simultaneously. For the former challenge, our model can predict a possible answer to missing quadruples based on semantics when facing unseen entities or relations. For the latter problem, based on an obvious established force, both the recency and frequency of semantic history tend to confer a higher reference value for the current. We use the Hawkes process to compute the semantic trend, which allows the semantics of recent facts to gain more attention than those of distant facts. Experimental results show that RE-SEGNN outperforms all SOTA models in entity prediction on 6 widely used datasets, and 5 datasets in relation prediction. Furthermore, the case study shows how our model can deal with unseen entities and relations.

Laparoscopic liver resection utilizing the ventral avascular area of the inferior vena cava:A retrospective cohort study

Rainfall impacts on nonpoint nitrogen and phosphorus dynamics in an agricultural river in subtropical montane reservoir region of southeast China

Aligning enhanced feature representation for generalized zero-shot learning

Constructing an effective common latent embedding by aligning the latent spaces of cross-modal variational autoencoders（VAEs） is a popular strategy for generalized zero-shot learning（GZSL）. However, due to the lack of fine-grained instance-wise annotations, existing VAE methods can easily suffer from the posterior collapse problem. In this paper, we propose an innovative asymmetric VAE network by aligning enhanced feature representation（AEFR） for GZSL. Distinguished from general VAE structures, we designed two asymmetric encoders for visual and semantic observations and one decoder for visual reconstruction. Specifically, we propose a simple yet effective gated attention mechanism（GAM） in the visual encoder for enhancing the information interaction between observations and latent variables, alleviating the possible posterior collapse problem effectively. In addition, we propose a novel distributional decoupling-based contrastive learning（D2-CL） to guide learning classification-relevant information while aligning the representations at the taxonomy level in the latent representation space. Extensive experiments on publicly available datasets demonstrate the state-of-the-art performance of our method. The source code is available at https://***/seeyourmind/AEFR.
