The study of hyperon decays at the Beijing Electron Spectrometer Ⅲ （BESⅢ） is proposed to investigate the events of J/φ decay into hyperon pairs, which provide a pristine experimental environment at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider Ⅱ. About 10^6-10^8 hyperons, i.e., ∧, ∑, ∈, and Ω, will be produced in the J/φ and φ（2S） decays with the proposed data samples at BESⅢ. Based on these samples, the measurement sensitivity of the branching fractions of the hyperon decays is in the range of 10^-5-10^-8. In addition, with the known center-of-mass energy and ＂tag technique＂, rare decays and decays with invisible final states can be probed.

A comprehensive review of weak decays of charmed hadrons(D0/+,Ds~+ and Λc~+) based on analyses of the threshold data from e~+e~-annihilation in the BESⅢ experiment is presented.Current experimental challenges and successes in understanding decays of the charmed hadrons are discussed.Precise calibrations of quantum chromodynamics and tests of the standard model are provided by measurements of purely leptonic and semi-leptonic decays of charmed hadrons,and lepton universality is probed in purely leptonic decays of charmed mesons to three generations of leptons.Quantum correlations in threshold data samples provide access to strong phases in the neutral D meson decays and probe the decay dynamics of the charmed Λcbaryon.Charm physics studies with near-threshold production of charmed particle pairs are unique to BESⅢ,and provide many important opportunities and challenges.

Purpose: Un displaced subtle ligamentous lisfranc injuries are easy to miss or underestimate, and many cases are treated without surgical fixation. It has not yet widely known whether conservative treatment for undisplaced subtle ligamentous lisfranc injuries may lead to a poor outcome. The purpose of this study is to compare the outcomes of conservative versus surgical management (percutaneous position screw) of undisplaced subtle ligamentous lisfranc injury. Methods: We analysed 61 cases in this retrospective study, including 38 males and 23 females. Forty-one patients were managed conservatively, while 20 patients received surgical treatment involving minimal invasive percutaneous pos让ion screw. American orthopaedic foot &ankle society (AOFAS), foot function index (FFI, including FFI disability, FFl pain score and activity limitation scale) scores, Maryland foot score and short form-36 (SF-36) were recorded and compared after a follow-up of 10-16 months (average 12.3). Results: Patients in the surgical management group had higher scores in all evaluation methods (p lications in the conservative management group had higher incidenee, mainly including secondary diastasis (34.1% vs. 5.0%), joint stiffness after 3 months (82.9% vs. 0%), and secondary arthrodesis (12.2% vs. 0%). The highest rate of complication in surgical management group was temporary forefoot pain (55.0%). Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that the outcomes of the surgical management with percutaneous position screw fixation are better than the conservative management to treat undisplaced subtle ligamentous lisfranc injuries. This study can serve as a resource for orthopaedic surgeons in recog nizing and man aging such injuries.

The performance of a recycling process for CO_(2) capture and utilization of exhaust gas in the steelmaking plant was reported.A facility capable of capturing CO_(2) at 3200 m^(3)/h was established in the steelmaking plant,resulting in the CO_(2) production of 50,000 t/a.The CO_(2) concentration of the exhaust gas from the lime kiln increased from 25.0 to 99.8 vol.%using the comprehensive method of the pressure swing adsorption and cryogenic separation.The captured and purified CO_(2) was successfully applied in the converter process by the top blowing and bottom blowing.The utilization of CO_(2) was 3.5 m^(3)/t through these two modes.After optimizing parameters of CO_(2)-O_(2) mixed top blowing,the value of[C]×[O]and the content of TFe in slag were reduced by 1.33×10-4 and 1.27%,respectively,and the dephosphorization rate of the molten steel increased by 2.31%.For the CO_(2) bottom blowing,the[N]content in the molten steel was significantly reduced by 5.7×10^(-6).

Developing bifunctional oxygen catalysts with high efficiency and low cost to replace platinum-group metal catalysts commonly utilized in metal-air batteries is critically desired.In this article,a convenient method to synthesis NiFe nanoparticles hybridized with N-doped carbon nanotube(NiFe@N-CNTs)is reported.Electrocatalytic performance analysis indicates that Ni_(x)Fc_(1-x)@N-CNTs offers favorable oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)kinetics(onset potential(E_(onset))is 0.87 V and half-wave potential(E_(1/2))is0.84 V),together with excellent oxygen evolution reaction(OER)performance(an overpotential of 270 mV to drive10 mA·cm^(-2)).Contributed by the synergetic effect between NiFe alloy and N-CNTs,when being utilized as air cathode,rechargeable Zn-air batteries present superior cycling stability for over 150 h.This research provides a universal strategy to synthesize the hybrids of intertwined carbon nanotube matrix loaded with alloy nanoparticles.

Anisotropy of mechanical properties of 2297-T87 Al–li alloy thick plates

The tensile properties of 2297-T87 Al–li alloy thick plates at different thickness position and in different direction were analyzed via tensile testing,optical microscopy(OM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive spectrometry(EDS),and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Results indicated that the ultimate tensile strength(UTS)and yield strength(YS)of the alloy decreased firstly and then increased from the 1/8T position to the 1/2T position,whereas elongation to failure(Ef)decreased gradually such that its value along the rolling direction(RD)was higher than those along the transverse direction(TD)at the same thickness position.From the 1/8T position to the 3/8T position of the alloy,the UTS and YS along the TD were higher than those along the RD.At the 1/2T position of the alloy,the UTS,YS,and Ef along the RD were the highest,whereas those along the normal direction(ND)were the lowest.Microstructural observations further revealed that the anisotropy of tensile properties was related to grain morphology,crystal texture,second-phase particles,and li atom segregation.

Background： Accumulating documents have demonstrated that long noncoding RNAs （lncRNAs） play critical roles in tumorigenesis. As an lncRNA, nuclear-enriched abundant transcript 1 （NEAT1） has been identified to be involved in the progression of many types of cancers. However, the biological function of NE.4T1 in cervical cancer is not fully investigated. The aim of this study was to disclose the specific biological function of lncRNA NEATI in cervical cancer progression. Methods： Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction （qRT-PCR） was utilized to identify the expression of lncRNA NE,4 T1 in the cervical cancer tissues and cell lines. All cervical cancer samples used in this study were collected from the Affiliated Suzhou Hospital of Nanjing Medical University between September 2012 and September 2017. The correlation between NE,4T1 expression and the overall survival rate of cervical cancer patients was analyzed by Kaplan-Meier analysis. The effects of NEAT1 knockdown or overexpression on cell proliferation were tested by performing MTT assays and colony formation assays. Transwell assays were conducted to detect the migratory ability of cervical cancer cells, in which NEAT1 was silenced or overexpressed. Western blotting was utilized to validate whether NEAT1 promotes cervical cancer progression through activating PI3K-Akt signaling pathway. Results： High expression of NE,4T1 predicted poor prognosis of cervical cancer patients （χ^2= 0.735, P = 0.005）. Knockdown of NE,4T1 decreased the number of colonies in CaSki cell from 136.667 ± 13.503 to 71.667 ± 7.506 （t = -18.76, P = 0.003） and decreased the number of colonies in HeLa cell from 128.667 ± 13.317 to 65.667 ± 7.024 （t = -5.54, P = 0.031）. However, overexpression of NEA T1 increased the number of colonies in SiHa cell from 84.667 ± 12.014 to 150.667 ± 18.037 （t = 7.27, P = 0.018）. Knockdown of NEAT1 decreased the migratory number of CaSki cell from 100.333 ± 9.866 to 58.333 ± 5.859 （t = -8.08, P = 0.015） and reduced the migratory number in HeLa cell fro

The direct epoxidation of propylene by O_(2) is a significant and challenging topic. The key factor for this homogeneous aerobic epoxidation is the activation of molecular oxygen under mild conditions. In this work,the aerobic epoxidation of propylene catalyzed by manganese porphyrins was achieved in the presence of isoprene. Isoprene contains an allyl methyl group, and the α-H can be easily removed to achieve the activation of molecular oxygen. The conversion of propylene was 38% and the selectivity toward propylene oxide(PO) was up to 87%. The role of isoprene was demonstrated, and a plausible mechanism was proposed. The protocol reported herein is expected to provide a strategy for the simultaneous preparation of propylene oxide and isoprene monoxide.

AIM：To introduce a novel approach in removal of anterior chamber angle foreign body（ACFB） using a prism contact lens and 23-gauge foreign body forceps.METHODS：Data of 42 eyes of 42 patients who had undergone removal of ACFB using a prism contact lens and 23-gauge foreign body forceps from January 2008 to October 2013 were collected and analyzed. Twenty eyes in group A received the conventional approach by using toothed forceps through corneal limbus incision, and 22 eyes in group B underwent the novel method through the opposite corneal limbus incision. RESULTS：The success rate of ACFB once removal was 75%（15/20） in group A, and 100%（22/22） in group B. The average operation time of group A was significantly longer compared with group B（34.9±9.88 min vs 22.13±8.85min; P〈0.05）. The average size of corneal limbus incision in group A was significantly larger than that of group B（4.85±1.89 mm vs 3.95±1.17 mm; P〈0.05）. The corneal limbus incision suturing were conducted in all eyes in group A, and only 5 eyes in group B. CONCLUSION：Removal of ACFB using a prism contact lens and 23-gauge foreign body forceps is a safer, more effective, and convenient technique compared with the conventional approach.
