In the ring-shaped Su–Schrieffer–Heeger(SSH)double-chain,the quantum interference between the two different electron tunneling paths of the upper and lower chains has an important influence on the electron transport properties of non-trivial topological edge ***,we have studied the electron transport signatures of non-trivial topological edge states in a ring-shaped SSH double-chain system based on the wave-guide theory and transfer-matrix *** the ringshaped SSH double-chain with the upper chain being different from the lower one,it is demonstrated that the electron transmission probability displays the four and two resonance peaks associated with the non-trivial topological edge states in the weak and strong coupling regimes,*** in the case of the upper chain being the same as the lower one,the two transmission resonance peaks associated with the non-trivial topological edge states in the weak coupling regime are only found,and that in the strong coupling regime disappear that originated from the destructive interference between the two different electron tunneling paths of the upper and lower ***,the variation of the number of transmission resonance peaks associated with the non-trivial topological edge states in the weak and strong coupling regimes suggests that an alternative scheme for detecting non-trivial topological edge states in the ring-shaped SSH doublechain system.

We theoretically study the four-wave mixing(FWM)response in a quantum dot-cavity coupling system,where a two-level quantum dot(QD)is placed in an optical cavity while the cavity mode is coupled to the nanomechanical resonator via radiation *** influences of the QD-cavity coupling strength,the Rabi coupling strength of the QD,and the power of the pump light on the FWM intensity are mainly *** numerical results show that the FWM intensity in this hybrid system can be significantly enhanced by increasing the QD-cavity coupling *** addition,the FWM intensity can be effectively modulated by the Rabi coupling strength and the pump ***,the effects of the cavity decay rate and the cavitypump detuning on the FWM signal are also *** obtained results may have potential applications in the fields of quantum optics and quantum information science.

We systematically investigate the four-wave mixing(FWM)spectrum in a dual-cavity hybrid optomechanical system,which is made up of one optical cavity with an ensemble of two-level atoms and another with a mechanical *** this work,we propose that the hybrid dual-cavity optomechanical system can be employed as a highly sensitive mass sensor due to the fact that the FWM spectrum generated in this system has a narrow spectral width and the intensity of the FWM can be easily tuned by controlling the coupling strength(cavity-cavity,atom-cavity).More fascinatingly,the dual-cavity hybrid optomechanical system can also be used as an all-optical switch in view of the easy on/off control of FWM signals by adjusting the atom-pump detuning to be positive or *** proposed schemes have great potential applications in quantum information processing and highly sensitive detection.

研究软土加速蠕变过程中的微观结构变化可深入了解加速蠕变特性的内在机制。在对天津滨海地区软土进行多种条件下的三轴蠕变试验的基础上,利用微观定量化技术,对比静、动荷载蠕变条件下土样的微观结构,从微观角度对加速蠕变机制进行了解释。研究表明,土样产生加速蠕变后,结构单元体的丰度和复杂度降低;结构单元体形状趋向扁圆形,边缘趋于圆滑;土体颗粒在自然状态下无明显定向性,加速蠕变后其定向性显著增强。振动荷载使得蠕变程度增大,也使得土体蠕变的速率加快。研究结果揭示了土体的加速蠕变实际上是在动荷载作用下土体的内部结构不断自我调整再造的过程。

Cobalamin(Cbl)-dependent radical S-adenosyl-L-methionine(SAM) proteins constitute the largest collection of the radical SAM superfamily that has hundreds of thousands of individual members. Many of these proteins are involved in the biosynthesis of pharmaceutically important natural products to catalyze chemically demanding reactions. In the biosynthetic pathway of chuangxinmycin(CXM), a unique indole alkaloid antibiotic with potent anti-infective activity, functionalization of the characteristic thiopyrano[4,3,2-cd]indole scaffold by regio-and stereoselective C3-methylation is believed to rely on a Cbl-dependent radical process, which, however, remained to be reconstituted biochemically. We here report the dissection of this enzymatic process, which requires the incorporation of Cxm8, a Cbl-dependent radical SAM protein, with Cxm9, a DUF5825family protein that shares no homology to any proteins of known functions. Cxm8 and Cxm9 function together by forming an unexpected heterodimeric complex that selectively catalyzes C3-methylation of the tricyclic indole-S-hetero ring system in a successive manner, achieving CXM and a recently identified, C3-dimethylated congener. Detailed biochemical characterization,isotope labeling, structural simulation and bioinformatics analysis rationalized the catalysis of the Cxm8/Cxm9 complex and particularly the necessity of the DUF5825 protein for C3-methylase activity. This is the first example that a Cbl-dependent protein acts with a partner to exhibit radical SAM activity.

Turbulent agglomeration is viewed as a promising technology for enhancing fine particle removal *** better understand particle transport,agglomeration behaviors,and fluid-particle interactions,we numerically explored these phenomena under cylindrical vortex wake influence using a coupled large eddy simulation and discrete element method（LES-DEM） *** validity of the LES approach was verified by comparison with available direct numerical simulation（DNS） *** adopted the Johnson-Kendall-Roberts（JKR） contact model for particle-particle *** particle dispersion and agglomeration characteristics of particles with different diameters（dp=2-20 μm） in the laminar and transition of shear layer（TrSL） flow regimes were *** particles were concentrated at the vortex centers,while larger particles accumulated around the *** agglomeration efficiency exhibited an M-shaped profile spanwise（y-direction）.With increasing Reynolds number,the agglomeration efficiency and turbulence intensity *** particle agglomeration efficiency peaks at a certain Reynolds ***,at higher Reynolds numbers,reducing the residence time of particles in the flow field decreases the agglomeration efficiency.

目的探讨病灶清除和载万古霉素硫酸钙人工骨植入对慢性化脓性骨髓炎的治疗效果。方法慢性化脓性骨髓炎患者48例,行病灶彻底清除手术治疗后分别应用加载万古霉素硫酸钙人工骨植入(A组)及传统抗生素灌洗(B组)治疗,观察2组患者治疗效果;对创面进行细菌培养,观察患者创口愈合情况,对植骨处进行X线片检查。结果患者术后随访6~48个月,平均随访时间为14个月。A组24例患者平均刀口愈合时间为(15.17±0.76)d,平均住院时间为(26.17±3.56)d,其中治愈18例,好转4例,有效率91.67%,未愈2例(占8.33%)。B组24例患者平均刀口愈合时间为(16.63±7.35)d,平均住院时间为(39.79±4.55)d,其中治愈12例,好转4例,有效率66.67%,未愈8例(占33.33%)。A组X线片检查显示,术后1d硫酸钙人工骨颗粒充满骨髓腔,硫酸钙颗粒间隙好;术后平均3周肢体X光片检查硫酸钙人工骨颗粒间隙模糊,部分硫酸钙开始吸收;术后4个月人工骨颗粒阴影消失;术后6个月植骨区成骨明显,骨痂连续,感染性骨不连完全愈合。结论载万古霉素硫酸钙骨治疗慢性骨髓炎疗效确切,能有效防止骨髓炎复发,促进创面愈合,且有一期骨引导作用,符合骨髓炎治疗要求,具有临床推广意义。

N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A), the most prevalent and conserved RNA modification in eukaryotic cells, profoundly influences virtually all aspects of mRNA metabolism. mRNA plays crucial roles in neural stem cell genesis and neural regeneration, where it is highly concentrated and actively involved in these processes. Changes in m^(6)A modification levels and the expression levels of related enzymatic proteins can lead to neurological dysfunction and contribute to the development of neurological diseases. Furthermore, the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells, as well as nerve regeneration, are intimately linked to memory function and neurodegenerative diseases. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the roles of m^(6)A in neural stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and self-renewal, as well as its implications in memory and neurodegenerative diseases. m^(6)A has demonstrated divergent effects on the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells. These observed contradictions may arise from the time-specific nature of m^(6)A and its differential impact on neural stem cells across various stages of development. Similarly, the diverse effects of m^(6)A on distinct types of memory could be attributed to the involvement of specific brain regions in memory formation and recall. Inconsistencies in m^(6)A levels across different models of neurodegenerative disease, particularly Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, suggest that these disparities are linked to variations in the affected brain regions. Notably, the opposing changes in m^(6)A levels observed in Parkinson's disease models exposed to manganese compared to normal Parkinson's disease models further underscore the complexity of m^(6)A's role in neurodegenerative processes. The roles of m^(6)A in neural stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and self-renewal, and its implications in memory and neurodegenerative diseases, appear contradictory.
