Cross-sectional network analysis of plasma proteins/metabolites correlated with pathogenesis and therapeutic response in acute promyelocytic leukemia

The treatment of PML/RARA+acute promyelocytic leukemia(APL)with all-trans-retinoic acid and arsenic trioxide(ATRA/ATO)has been recognized as a model for translational medicine *** an altered microenvironment is a general cancer hallmark,how APL blasts shape their plasma composition is poorly ***,we reported a cross-sectional correlation network to interpret multilayered datasets on clinical parameters,proteomes,and metabolomes of paired plasma samples from patients with APL before or after ATRA/ATO induction *** study revealed the two prominent features of the APL plasma,suggesting a possible involvement of APL blasts in modulating plasma *** was characterized by altered secretory protein and metabolite profiles correlating with heightened proliferation and energy consumption in APL blasts,and the other featured APL plasma-enriched proteins or enzymes catalyzing plasma-altered metabolites that were potential trans-regulatory targets of PML/***,results indicated heightened interferon-gamma signaling characterizing a tumor-suppressing function of the immune system at the first hematological complete remission stage,which likely resulted from therapy-induced cell death or senescence and ensuing supraphysiological levels of intracellular ***,our work sheds new light on the pathophysiology and treatment of APL and provides an information-rich reference data cohort for the exploratory and translational study of leukemia microenvironment.

The use of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)as solid adsorption materials for carbon capture is promising,but achieving efficient and reversible adsorption with a balance of capacity and selectivity for carbon dioxide(CO_(2))over N_(2) remains a *** take full advantage of the strong channel traffic and robustness of MOFs with relatively small pores,it is highly necessary to employ a defect-engineering strategy to construct a broader channel structure that can facilitate the loading of functional motif-rich amino acids(AAs).This strategy can greatly enhance the CO_(2) adsorption performance of *** this study,motif-rich amino acids are loaded into the defective and robust porous frameworks via combined defect-engineering and post-synthetic *** defective Zr/Hf-MOF-808s modified with AAs,especially for the 18 mol%4-nitroisophthalic acid,generated defective products allowing for the loading of L-serine(L-Ser).This modification resulted in a significant improvement in both the adsorption capacity(248%improvement at 298 K,100 kPa)and the selectivity of CO_(2)/N_(2) using the ideal adsorbed solution theory(IAST),with the selectivity increasing to 120.55 and 38.27 at 15 and 100 kPa,respectively,while maintaining good cycling *** functional theory(DFT)simulation,CO_(2) temperature-programmed desorption(CO_(2)-TPD),and in situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)were further employed to have a better understanding of the enhanced CO_(2) adsorption ***,unlike the AAs loaded pristine MOF-808s that showed the best CO_(2) adsorption capacity with the loading of short and small glycine(Gly),the broadened channel size in our work enables the loading of functional motif-rich L-serine,which brings more active binding sites,improving CO_(2) adsorption.

Downregulation of Serum PTEN Expression in Mercury-Exposed Population and PI3K/AKT Pathway-Induced Inflammation

Objective This study investigated the impact of occupational mercury(Hg) exposure on human gene transcription and expression, and its potential biological *** Differentially expressed genes related to Hg exposure were identified and validated using gene expression microarray analysis and extended validation. Hg-exposed cell models and PTEN lowexpression models were established in vitro using 293T cells. PTEN gene expression was assessed using qRT-PCR, and Western blotting was used to measure PTEN, AKT, and PI3K protein levels. IL-6 expression was determined by *** Combined findings from gene expression microarray analysis, bioinformatics, and population expansion validation indicated significant downregulation of the PTEN gene in the high-concentration Hg exposure group. In the Hg-exposed cell model(25 and 10 μmol/L), a significant decrease in PTEN expression was observed, accompanied by a significant increase in PI3K, AKT, and IL-6 ***, a low-expression cell model demonstrated that PTEN gene knockdown led to a significant decrease in PTEN protein expression and a substantial increase in PI3K, AKT, and IL-6 *** This is the first study to report that Hg exposure downregulates the PTEN gene, activates the PI3K/AKT regulatory pathway, and increases the expression of inflammatory factors, ultimately resulting in kidney inflammation.

Research on Improving the Thermal Conductivity of Epoxy Resin with Flexible Assisted Rigid Groups

Epoxy resins are cross-linked polymeric materials with typically low thermal ***,the introduction of rigid groups into epoxy resins is the main method to improve their intrinsic thermal *** researchers explored the relationship between the flexible chains of epoxy monomers and the thermal conductivity of the modified epoxy resins （MEP）.The effect of flexible chain length on the introduction of rigid groups into the cross-linked structure of epoxy is worth investigating,which is of great significance for the improvement of thermal conductivity of polymers and related *** prepared a small molecule liquid crystal （SMLC） containing a long flexible chain via a simple synthesis reaction,and introduced rigid mesocrystalline units into the epoxy resin via a curing *** high-temperature curing,the introduced mesocrystalline units underwent orientational stacking and were immobilized within the *** and TGA tests showed that the ordering within the modified epoxy resin was increased,which improved the thermal conductivity of the epoxy ***,during the above process,the flexible chains of SMLC provide space for the biphenyl groups to align and therefore affect the thermal conductivity of the ***,the MEP-Ⅵ cured with SMLC-Ⅵ containing six carbon atoms in the flexible chain has the highest thermal conductivity of 0.40W·m-1·K-1,which is 125%of the thermal conductivity of SMLC-IV of 0.32 W·m-1·K-1,111%of the thermal conductivity of SMLC-Ⅷ of 0.36W·m-1·K-1,and 182%of the thermal conductivity of pure epoxy of 0.22 W·m-1·*** introduction of appropriate length flexible chains for SMLC promotes the stacking of rigid groups within the resin while reducing the occurrence of chain *** study will provide new ideas for the enhancement of thermal conductivity of cross-linked polymeric materials.

Ferromagnetism and insulating behavior with a logarithmic temperature dependence of resistivity in Pb_(10-x)Cux(PO_(4))_(6)O

Recent claim of discovering above-room-temperature superconductivity(Tc≈400 K)at ambient pressure in copper doped apatite Pb10(PO_(4))_(6)O has stimulated world-wide enthusiasm and impulse of motion.A lot of follow-up works have been carried out with controversial *** check whether superconductivity is really present or absent in the material,we need samples which should have a rather pure phase of Pb_(10-x)Cux(PO_(4))_(6)*** we report the characterization results from the Pb_(10-x)Cux(PO_(4))_(6)O with a fraction of about 97 wt.%inferred from the fitting to the X-ray diffraction pattern,if assuming Cu2S as the only *** resistivity measurements show that it is a semiconductor characterized roughly by a ln(1/T)temperature dependence in wide temperature region without trace of *** measurements show that it has a general ferromagnetic signal with a weak superparamagnetic *** grains of the sample show clear interactions with a Nb Fe B *** detected Cu concentration is much lower than the expected nominal *** results show the absence of metallicity and superconductivity in Pb_(10-x)Cux(PO_(4))_(6)O at ambient pressure,and suggest the presence of strong correlation effect.

This study aims to investigate Lorentz/U(1)gauge symmetry-breaking electrodynamics in the framework of the standard-model extension and analyze the Hamiltonian structure for the theory with a specific dimension of Lorentz breaking *** this purpose,we consider a general quadratic action of the modified electrodynamics with Lorentz/gauge-breaking operators and calculate the number of independent components of the operators at different dimensions in gauge invariance and *** this general action,we then analyze how Lorentz/gauge symmetry-breaking can change the Hamiltonian structure of the theories by considering Lorentz/gauge-breaking operators with dimension as *** show that the Lorentz-breaking operators with gauge invariance do not change the classes of the theory constrains and the number of physical degrees of freedom of the standard Maxwell *** U(1)gauge symmetry-breaking operators are present,the theories generally lack a first-class constraint and have one additional physical degree of freedom compared to the standard Maxwell electrodynamics.

Few-shot incremental radar target recognition framework based on scattering-topology properties

The continuous emergence of new targets in open scenarios leads to a substantial decrease in the performance of Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar(ISAR)recognition ***,data scarcity further exacerbates the challenge of identifying new classes of ISAR *** this paper,a few-shot incremental target recognition framework based on Scattering-Topology Properties(STPIL)is ***,STPIL extracts scattering-topology properties of ISAR targets as recognition ***,the pseudo-incremental training strategy effectively alleviates the algorithm’s forgetting of old knowledge,and improves compatibility with new ***,a feature embedding network,with few parameters,is designed based on the graph neural *** embedding network is highly adaptable to changes in data ***,STPIL fully considers the joint distribution and marginal distribution in scattering features,and uses the Brownian distance metric module to make the scattering-topology features more *** results on both the simulation dataset and the public measured data indicate that STPIL can effectively balance new classes with old classes,and has superior performance to other advanced methods in the incremental recognition of targets.

Stress-strain relationship for reactive powder concrete with recycled powder under uniaxial compression

The recycled powder(RP)from construction wastes can be used to partially replace cement in the preparation of reactive powder *** this paper,reactive powder concrete mixtures with RP partially replacing cement,and natural sand instead of quartz,are *** curing is used,instead of steam curing that is normally requested by standard for reactive powder *** influences of RP replacement ratio(0%,10%,20%,30%),silica fume proportion(10%,15%,20%),and steel fiber proportion(0%,1%,2%)are *** effects of RP,silica fume,and steel fiber proportion on compressive strength,elastic modulus,and relative absorption energy are analyzed,and theoretical models for compressive strength,elastic modulus,and relative absorption energy are established.A constitutive model for the uniaxial compressive stress-strain relationship of reactive powder concrete with RP is *** the increase of RP replacement ratio from 0% to 30%,the compressive strength decreases by 42% and elastic modulus decreases by 24%.
