The pursuit of highly active oxygen evolution reaction （OER） catalysts,especially those free of noble metals,is a focal point in fuel cell *** extensive density functional theory calculations,this study designed and evaluated the activity and stability of singleatom catalysts （SACs） composed of 3d,4d and 5d transition metals supported on tungsten-based MXene for OER *** highlighted the exceptional OER performance of Ni@W2CO2,Rh@W2CO2and Pt@W2CO2,displaying remarkably low overpotentials The catalytic activity of TM@W2CO2SACs exhibited a robust correlation with surface properties,particularly the d-band center index and surface work *** Ni@W2CO2,Rh@W2CO2and Pt@W2CO2emerged as promising candidates for OER and oxygen reduction reaction （ORR） bifunctional catalysis,while Pt@W2CO2and Rh@ W2CO2showed high potential for OER and hydrogen evolution reaction （HER） bifunctional catalysis The effectiveness of tungsten-based MXene as a substrate for non-noble-metal SACs marks a breakthrough in OER catalyst design,driving advancements towards sustainable energy solutions and addressing critical challenges in energy conversion and storage.

Background:HLA-G have seven isoforms which HLA-G1-G4 are membrane-bound and HLA-G5-G7 *** studies reinforced HLA-G expression was strongly related to poor prognosis in different types of *** these studies,the monoclonal antibody(mAb)4H84 was used which detects all HLA-G isoform heavy chain;unfortunately,leaves the specific types of isoforms expressed in lesions undistinguished and its clinical significance needs to be *** and methods:To explore clinical significance of lesion soluble HLA-G(sHLA-G)in non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC),mAb 5A6G7 recognizing HLA-G5/-G6 molecules was ***-G expression in 131 primary NSCLC lesions(66 squamous cell carcinoma,55 adenocarcinoma and 10 adenosquamous carcinoma)were analyzed with ***:Data showed that sHLA-G expression was observed in 34.0%(45/131)of the NSCLC lesions,which was unrelated to patient age,sex,lymph nodal status,TNM stage and patient ***,lesion sHLA-G expression was predominately observed in adenocarcinoma lesions(73.0%,40/55)which was significantly higher than that in squamous cell carcinoma(6.0%,4/66)and adenosquamous carcinoma lesions(10.0%,1/10,plung adenocarcinoma,which could be a useful biomarker to discriminate adenocarcinoma from squamous cell carcinoma in NSCLC patients.

Boron neutron capture therapy(BNCT)is recognized as a precise binary targeted radiotherapy technique that effectively eliminates tumors through the^(10)B(n,α)^(7)Li nuclear *** various neutron sources,accelerator-based sources have emerged as particularly promising for BNCT ***^(7)Li(p,n)^(7)Be reaction is highly regarded as a potential neutron source for BNCT,owing to its low threshold energy for the reaction,significant neutron yield,appropriate average neutron energy,and additional *** study utilized Monte Carlo simulations to model the physical interactions within a lithium target subjected to proton bombardment,including neutron moderation by an MgF_(2)moderator and subsequent BNCT dose analysis using a Snyder head *** study focused on calculating the yields of epithermal neutrons for various incident proton energies,finding an optimal energy at 2.7 ***,the Snyder head phantom was employed in dose simulations to validate the effectiveness of this specific incident energy when utilizing a^(7)Li(p,n)^(7)Be neutron source for BNCT purposes.

The development of stable and highly efficien multifunctional electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction （HER）,oxygen reduction reaction （ORR） and oxygen evolution reaction （OER） are essential for the efficient conversion and storage of renewable *** significant advantages of single-atom catalysts,such as strong metal slab interactions,unsaturated coordination and efficient atomic utilization,have opened new avenues for designing multifunctional ***,based on density functional theory,a single atom doped PdPX system was designed as a multifunctional electrocatalyst,which demonstrated the synergistic effect between defects and transition metal atoms and led to enhanced catalytic *** results showed that PdPS/PdPSe with P/X vacancy,PdPTe with P/Pd vacancy and Co/Rh/Ir@PdPX exhibited promising HER ***@PdPS（Se）,with an overpotential of 0.56（0.44） V,was predicted to be a promising OER ***,Rh（Ir）@PdPS（Se）catalysts exhibited efficient catalytic properties for ORR Besides,Co@PdPS（Se）,Rh（Ir）@PdPSV（S）,Co@PdP-SeV（Se）and Ir@PdPSV（S）-1exihibited multifunctional catalytic performance with moderate ***,the origin of catalytic activity was revealed by using the crystal orbital Hamilton populations *** a strong adsorption system,proper filling of the anti-bonding state can increase the energy of the system,weaken the adsorption strength,and facilitate the desorption of intermediates Conversely,augmenting bonding states can enhance its adsorption *** findings provide theoretica guidance for the design and fabrication of novel multifunctional electrocatalysts in terms of filling of bondingstate.

Controlling solid form and crystal habit of triphenylmethanol by antisolvent crystallization in a microfluidic device

Crystal habit and crystal form are critical elements in determining product properties and functions. In this work, we developed a microfluidic antisolvent crystallization technique to rapidly screen and accurately control the solid form and crystal habit of triphenylmethanol(Ph_(3)COH). This advanced technique separates the primary mixing of solutions from crystal formation(nucleation and growth) by introducing the microfluidic device, avoiding clogging in microchannels to obtain high-quality crystals. The results show that we can achieve controllable preparation of pure 2Ph_(3)COH·DMSO(DMSO solvate), pure Ph_(3)COH(form β), and mixed crystals with different mass ratios. Moreover, the microscale can prompt the DMSO solvate to grow into hexagonal sheet-like and bulk crystals. We can regulate the aspect ratio of hexagonal sheet-like crystals in binary solvents and control the crystal habit of the form β to transition between long needle-like shapes and short hexagonal prisms in DMF-H_(2)O. Meanwhile, we revealed that the solvent ratio, the antisolvent flow rate, and the initial concentration of Ph_(3)COH are the main factors affecting the solid form selectivity and morphology transition. Such a novel method would be considered as a promising technique to be extended to screen and control key crystallization parameters of other substances.

Maximizing solar energy utilization is a persistent challenge in photo catalysis,which determines sustainable solar-driven photocatalytic *** thermal-coupled photo catalysis is considered as a promising solution to tackle the issues of sustainable energy scarcity and environmental pollution by harvesting the full-spectrum solar ***,a highly efficient photo thermal-accelerated photo catalysis system is elaborately established,in which the assembled carbonized stick/Nb_(2)C MXene evaporator can heat water into vapor and the integrated g-C_(3)N_(4)photocatalyst further enables high-efficiency photocatalytic hydrogen *** designed hyperboloid wood-based architecture possesses a multiphase interface of water steam/catalyst/hydrogen to reduce the transport resistance of hydrogen gas in liquid and ultimately maximize the output of hydrogen ***,this coupled photothermal-photocatalytic system achieves a stable solar evaporation rate of 2.16 kg m^(-1)h^(-1)under one sun irradiation and highly efficient hydrogen-evolving rate of 3096μmol g^(-1)h^(-1).This work paves a way to explore the improvement of photocatalytic hydrogen production by synergic photothermal effect for potential applications in renewable solar energy utilization and hydrogen production.
