Graphene has become a worldwide admired material among researchers and scientists equally due to its unique richness in mechanical strength, electrical conductivity, optical and thermal properties. Re- searchers have explored that the composite materials based on graphene and metal/metal oxide nanostructures possess excellent potential for energy storage technologies. In particular, supercapacitors based on such composite materials have engrossed the extreme interest of researchers for its rapid charging/discharging time, safe operation and longer cyclic constancy. Till now, several fabrication techniques for composite materials and their energy storage applications have been explored. Here, specially, we have concentrated on the hottest research progress for the fabrication of graphene oxide and metal/metal oxide nanocomposites. We also emphasized on the characteristics and properties of supercapacitors fabricated using these composite materials. Moreover, our study is focused on the specific capacitance and cyclic stability of various composites to haul out the most efficient material for supercapacitor applications.

Prophet muhammad (pbuh) Practices to Establish a Pluralistic Society: Study of Madīnah Charter in Contemporary Global Context

This study explores the practices of the Holy Prophet muhammad ■ to establish a peaceful and diverse society with special reference to Methāq-e-Madīnah and its significance and application in contemporary socio-political context. Theoretically, the effort and dream to establish a peaceful and diverse society have been a matter of concern for the humanity from the ancient times. But it has become the most significant and burning issue of the contemporary global scenario. Ultimately, the human intellectual and physical development is based upon peace and peaceful coexistence. Therefore, a number of religious and socio-political scholars have been tried to establish a peaceful and diverse society in different phases of the human history. Practically, the Prophet muhammad (■ )has made a unique and distinct contribution towards developing a peaceful and diverse society for 1,400 years ago, though he led or had been the part of multiethnic society of different faiths in the state of Madīnah. In order to establish a peaceful and pleasant relationship between Muslims and other communities of Madīnah, an agreement was signed which was titled Methāq-e-Madīnah. The Charter of Madīnah contained certain principles and regulations that are mandatory for a peaceful living in a diverse state or society. This charter is an excellent model for peace, prosperity, religious freedom, and human rights in the human history. According to this charter, all groups were free to exercise their religious beliefs and social and economic interests. According to this agreement, Madīnah was declared a federal capital of the state. This agreement had provided equal rights, religious autonomy, and socio-cultural freedom to all other groups of the Madīnah (Jews, Christians, and polytheists). Therefore, it is perceived that the Charter of Madīnah may become a preamble for peaceful coexistence in this multicultural and multipath world of the contemporary era. Characterization of ion irradiated silicon surfaces ablated by laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy

Low energy metallic ions, generated by a Q-switched Nd：YAG laser （1064-nm wavelength, 10-mJ energy, 9-nm 12-ns-pulse width, 1011 W/cm2 intensity） irradiated on a silicon substrate to modify various properties, such as electrical, morphological, and structural modifications. Thomson parabola technique is used to calculate the energy of these metallic ions whereas the electrical conductivity is calculated with the help of Four-point probe. Interestingly circular tracks forming chain like damage trails are produced via these energetic ions which are carefully examined by optical microscopy. It is observed that excitation, ionization, and cascade collisions are responsible for surface modifications of irradiated samples. Four-point probe analysis revealed that the electrical conductivity of substrate has reduced with increasing trend of atomic number of irradiated metallic ions （A1, Ti, Cu, and Au）. The x-ray diffraction analysis elucidated the crystallographic changes leading to reduction of grain size of N-type silicon substrate, which is also associated with the metallic ions used. The decreasing trend of conductivity and grain size is due to thermal stresses, scattering effect, structural imperfections, and non-uniform conduction of energy absorbed by substrate atoms after the ion irradiation.

In vivo study of gold-nanoparticles using different extracts for kidney, liver function and photocatalytic application

We report novel gold nanoparticles by green method for different fruit extracts have gaining greater attention due to its versatile properties in different applications. In this article, GNPs synthesis is demonstrated successfully using fresh fruit extract of punica granatum and fragaria. The optical properties, morphology and elemental analysis of samples was done by using) different characterization techniques like SEM EDX and UV-Visible spectroscopy Biocompatibility of GNPs was determined by ALT, AST, ALP, Urea, Creatinine tests and also to investigate the effects of prepared GNPs on the kidney and liver functions. The GNPs prepared by fruit extract of punica granatum have more effects on the rabbits than GNPs prepared from fragaria but this effect normalizes after three days which shows its biocompatibility. To explore the photocatalytic activity of the GNPs the photocatalytic degradation of MB dye is also investigated. The results revealed that GNPs prepared through green synthesis route are found to be efficient enhancement in the degradation of MB dye in visible region due to large surface area. These particles were more active in catalytic reduction due to their high surface energy and in bio-medical applications as biocompatibility.
