Evaporative cooling(EC)is an ancient technique that is usually suitable for hot and dry climatic conditions due to the potential of water vapor *** this study,three kinds of evaporative cooling systems such as direct EC(DEC),indirect EC(IEC),and maisotsenko cycle EC(mEC)were locally developed at *** performance of the systems was evaluated and compared for agricultural storage and livestock air-conditioning application in *** experiments were performed for climatic conditions of multan city(Pakistan)and the data were collected for hourly and daily *** to the results,it was observed that the DEC system has the ability to reduce the temperature of ambient air to an average of 8.5℃.Whilst IEC and mEC systems were able to drop the temperature of ambient air to an average of 6.8℃and 8.9℃,*** per the results,the DEC system remained behind to provide desired conditions for livestock and agricultural product storage applications due to excessive *** the other hand,the IEC and mEC systems can achieve the desired conditions for livestock application,but could not provide feasible conditions for various fruits and vegetable *** study concludes that hybrid EC systems can be developed to provide desired conditions for a wide range of applications under varying climatic conditions.

利用Sedsim软件对印度河三角洲进行地层正演模拟,在模拟面积为250 km x 250km,网格分辨率为2.5km的情况下,显示了印度河三角洲从距今200ka～5kyrs期间碎屑沉积物的时空展布。由于该地区缺乏第四纪沉积物的地震和井数据,本次研究为模拟海平面升降旋回过程中沉积过程及地层演化提供了一种有效方法。沉积层序的形成主要受基准面,沉降,沉积物供应,初始地形和波浪能量之间的相互作用控制。本文充分结合野外测量、陆地卫星影像、数字观测模型、水文变量和已发表数据建立沉积概念模型,该模型进一步用于生成地层正演模拟(Sedsim)的输入参数。沉积学响应涉及沉积构造,河流沉积物的体积和空间分布的变化,而形态学响应则决定了该区域河道的几何形状,起伏和坡度。印度河、阿拉伯海、塔尔沙漠和拉基高原是印度河三角洲平原的主要组成部分。构造上,印度三角洲平原由向上挠曲带、向下挠曲带组成,沉降自西向东呈增加的趋势。复合三角洲区由上三角洲平原(河流主导)和下三角洲平原(潮汐主导)组成。三角洲的结构受流量,流速和沉积物浓度等水文变量控制。三角洲平原的物源输入主要来自印度河,包括来自邻近高地和哈布河的粗碎屑物质,以及风成沉积的沉积物。总的模拟持续时间为最近二个冰期和间冰期旋回的时间周期。最终模拟结果由205层组成,每层代表1000年,反映了模拟时间段内的岩相,沉积相,古水深和伪地震剖面。自200ka到130ka,海平面下降,印度河继续为三角洲平原提供沉积物。这个时期被视为低位域。在130ka至60ka期间,海平面上升,气候条件温暖而潮湿。最大沉积界面位于该高位域时期。从60ka到18ka,海平面下降并达到了最后一次冰期的最低点。该低位域时期接受的沉积最少,且在三角洲平原发生了更多的侵蚀作用。后冰期(距今18ka～5kyrs)海平面迅速上升并伴随着强烈的季风气候条件。在高位域时期,随着自然截弯和加积作用,沉积速率升高。本次模拟合理预测三角洲平原厚度,其厚度从北到南,自西向东改变。东北方向三角洲的最大厚度可达175 m,滨岸带最大厚度可达200米左右,中部三角洲最大厚度可达100米左右。基于文献资料和卫星图像验证了模型的沉积厚度及相分布。此外,生成10口假井数据,其结果预测了三角洲平原的沉积速率和沉积物百分率。通过模拟得到的质量平衡方程,统计学上给出了模拟时期的沉积平衡。印度河沿岸在模拟时间内共经历了三个沉积演化阶段。对于未来5kyrs,模拟显示了海平面静止和海平面以1m/kyr的速度上升两种类型,分别揭示了海岸线稳定和泛滥的情况。陆上三角洲的发育,受到三角洲河道的自然截弯作用以及波浪、潮汐的侵蚀作用的影响。

To evaluate the potential of both jamun (Syzygium cumini) seed and fruit extracts against *** Sprague Dawley rats were used to evaluate hypoglycemic potential of jamun extracts. Purposely, jamun fruit and seed’s ethanolic extracts based diets were provided to normal and high sucrose diet induced hyperglycemic/diabetic rats for sixty days. The serum glucose and insulin levels were monitored at monthly intervals to evaluate hypoglycemic effect of jamun *** results of instant research depicted that both seed and fruit extracts reduce the blood glucose level significantly and also regulate the insulin levels in hyperglycemic rats. It was noted that jamun fruit extract attenuated serum glucose levels to 5.35% and 12.29% in normal and hyperglycemic rats, respectively; while insulin levels were improved by 2.82% and 6.19%, correspondingly. Whereas, jamun seed extract reduced glucose to 7.04% & 14.36% and showed 3.56% & 7.24% higher insulin levels in normal & hyperglycemic rats, *** present research revealed that both jamun fruit and seeds have potent prophylactic role against hyperglycemia. In this respect, diet based regimen may be tailored using jamun fruit/seed and their extracts to alleviate hyperglycemia.

With the advent of technological advancements and the widespread Internet connectivity during the last couple of decades,social media platforms(such as Facebook,Twitter,and Instagram)have consumed a large proportion of time in our daily *** tend to stay alive on their social media with recent updates,as it has become the primary source of interactionwithin social *** social media platforms offer several remarkable features but are simultaneously prone to various critical *** studies have revealed a strong correlation between the usage of social media and associated mental health issues consequently leading to depression,anxiety,suicide commitment,and mental disorder,particularly in the young adults who have excessively spent time on socialmedia which necessitates a thorough psychological analysis of all these *** study aims to exploit machine learning techniques for the classification of psychotic issues based on Facebook status *** this paper,we start with depression detection in the first instance and then expand on analyzing six other psychotic issues(e.g.,depression,anxiety,psychopathic deviate,hypochondria,unrealistic,and hypomania)commonly found in adults due to extreme use of social media *** classify the psychotic issues with the user’s mental state,we have employed different machine Learning(mL)classifiers i.e.,Random Forest(RF),Support Vector machine(SVm),Naïve Bayes(NB),and K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN).The used mL models are trained and tested by using different combinations of features selection *** observe themost suitable classifiers for psychotic issue classification,a cost-benefit function(sometimes termed as‘Suitability’)has been used which combines the accuracy of the model with its execution *** experimental evidence argues that RF outperforms its competitor classifiers with the unigram feature set.

The Paleocene coals of the Salt Range in the Punjab Province of Pakistan have great economic potential;however,their trace element and stable isotopic characteristics have not been studied in detail except for a few sporadic *** this study,a total of 59 coal samples of which 14 are obtained from open cast mines have been investigated for elemental composition andδ^(13)C-δ^(15)N isotopic *** contents of trace elements such as Co,Cr,Cu,Pb,Sr,Th,u,V,and Zn are 7.4,41.7,11.2,12.5,90.2,4.0,1.9,128,and 31.1 mg/kg,*** values,when compared with the World Coal Clarke values,were relatively higher in low-rank coals in comparison with Clarke values for brown ***,As(20.4 mg/kg),Co(6.6 mg/kg),Cr(22.4 mg/kg),Cu(^(13).3 mg/kg),Pb(19.2 mg/kg),Sr(^(15)4.7 mg/kg),Th(2.5 mg/kg),V(47.8 mg/kg),and Zn(75.1 mg/kg)were significantly higher in the sub-bituminous to bituminous coals of the Salt *** analysis,based on X-ray diffraction and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy,revealed that the studied samples contain illite,kaolinite calcite,gypsum,pyrite,and *** affinity with organic and inorganic phases of coals calculated by an indirect statistical approach indicated a positive association of ash content with Ag,Al,Co,Cr,Cs,Cu,mn,P,Rb,Pb,Th,u,and V,suggesting the presence of inorganic components in studied ***,As,Fe,Sr,and Zn exhibit negative correlations that imply their association with the organic ***δ^(13)C andδ^(15)N isotopic range and average−24.94‰to−25.86‰(−25.41‰)and−2.77‰to 3.22‰(0.96‰),respectively,reflecting 3C type modern terrestrial vegetation were common in the palaeomires of studied coal *** addition,the trivial variations of 0.92‰and 0.45‰among^(13)C and^(15)N values can be attributed to water level fluctuations and plant assemblies.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is etiologically linked with hepatitis B virus(HBV) and is the leading cause of death amongst 80% of HBV patients. Among HBV affected patients, genetic factors are also involved in modifying the risk factors of HCC. However, the genetic factors that regulate progression to HCC still remain to be determined. In this review, we discuss several single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) which were reportedly associated with increased or reduced risk of HCC occurrence in patients with chronic HBV infection such as cyclooxygenase(COX)-2 expression specifically at COX-2-1195G/A in Chinese, Turkish and Egyptian populations, tumor necrosis factor α and the three most commonly studied SNPs: PAT-/+, Lys939Gln(A33512C, rs2228001) and Ala499Val(C21151T, rs2228000). In genome-wide association studies, strong associations have also been found at loci 1p36.22, 11q22.3, 6p21(rs1419881, rs3997872, rs7453920 and rs7768538), 8p12(rs2275959 and rs37821974) and 22q11.21. The genes implicated in these studies include HLA-DQB2, HLA-DQA1, TCF19, HLA-C, uBE2L3, LTL, FDX1, mICA, uBE4 B and PG. The SNPs found to be associated with the above-mentioned genes still require validation in association studies in order to be considered good prognostic candidates for HCC. Screening of these polymorphisms is very beneficial in clinical experiments to stratify the higher or lower risk for HCC and may help in designing effective and efficient HCC surveillance programs for chronic HBV-infected patients if further genetic vulnerabilities are detected.

Four-axis trochoidal toolpath planning for rough milling of aero-engine blisks

The Blade Integrated Disk(Blisk) is one of the key components in the aero-engine, it is generally manufactured by the multi-axis milling and almost 90% raw materials are removed. To avoid the full immersion of a cutter in the rough machining of a blisk channel, the trochoidal milling is a promising strategy since it can keep a small immersion angle in the rough milling process while maintaining the high machining efficiency. However, while toolpaths are being planned for the trochoidal milling process, the conventional methods are mainly for the planar machining area with fixed tool orientations, which cannot be used for complex channels where the multi-axis machining should be employed. To this end, this paper presents a four-axis trochoidal toolpath planning method with a ball-end cutter, and thus the blisk channel can be machined *** this to happen, the trochoidal paths are planned in the parametric domain and then mapped into the physical domain, with tool orientations controlled by the quaternion interpolation method to have smooth tool movement along the toolpaths. Both geometric simulation and physical milling experiments of the proposed method have convincingly demonstrated the validation of the proposed method.

Traffic congestion has become a critical issue in developing countries,as it tends to increase social costs in terms of travel cost and time,energy consumption and environmental *** limited resources,reducing travel demand by influencing individuals’ travel behavior can be a better long-term *** achieve this objective,alternate travel options need to be provided so that people can commute comfortably and *** study aims to identify key motives and constraints in the consideration of carpooling policy with the help of stated preference questionnaire survey that was conducted in Lahore *** designed questionnaire includes respondents’ socioeconomic demographics,and intentions and stated preferences on carpooling *** analysis was conducted on travelers’ responses,and a structural model was developed for *** and modeling results reveal that social,environmental and economic benefits,disincentives on car use,preferential parking treatment for carpooling,and comfort and convenience attributes are significant determinants in promoting ***,people with strong belief in personal privacy,security,freedom in traveling and carpooling service constraints would have less potential to use thecarpooling *** addition,pro-auto and pro-carpooling attitudes,marital status,profession and travel purpose for carpooling are also underlying *** findings implicate that to promote carpooling policy it is required to consider appropriate incentives on this service and disincentives on use of private vehicle along with modification of people’s attitudes and intentions.
