The electrooxidation of L-cysteine（L-Cys） was studied using a benzoylferrocene（BF） modified multi-wall carbon nanotube paste electrode（BFCNPE） using cyclic voltammetry（CV）,square wave voltammetry（SWV） and chronoamperometry（CHA）.Under optimum pH in CV the oxidation of L-Cys occurs at a potential about 215 mV less positive than that at the surface of unmodified carbon paste *** catalytic oxidation peak currents were dependent on the L-Cys concentration and a linear calibration curve was obtained in the range 0.7-350.0 mmol/L of L-Cys with SWV *** detection limit（3s） was determined as 0.1 mmol/*** method was also used for the determination of L-Cys in some real samples.

The nonlocal nonlinear Schr?dinger equation(NNLSE)with competing weakly nonlocal nonlinearity and parabolic law nonlinearity is explored in the current work.A powerful integration tool,which is a modified form of the simple equation method,is used to construct the dark and singular 1-soliton *** is shown that the modified simple equation method provides an effective and powerful mathematical gadget for solving various types of NNLSEs.

The electrochemical behavior of vitamin C（ascorbic acid or AA） is investigated on the surface of a carbon-paste electrode modified with TiO2 nanoparticles and 2,2＇-（1,2 butanediylbis（nitriloethylidyne））-bis-hydroquinone（BBNBH）.The prepared modified electrode showed an efficient catalytic role in the electrochemical oxidation of AA,leading to remarkable decrease in oxidation overpotential and enhancement of the kinetics of the electrode *** modified electrode exhibits well-separated oxidation peaks for AA and uric acid（UA）.The modified electrode is successfully applied for the accurate determination of AA in pharmaceutical preparations.

A new electrochemical sensor for determination of isoproterenol （IP） is described. The sensor is based on carbon paste electrode （CPE） modified with 5-amino-2＇,4＇-dimethoxybiphenyl-2-ol （5ADMB） and takes the advantages of carbon nanotubes （CNTs）. Under the optimum pH of 7.0, the oxidation of IP occurs at a potential about 210 mV less positive than that of the unmodified CPE. The oxidation currents increased linearly with two concentration intervals oflP, one is 0.09 to 20.0 μ mol/L and, the other is 20.0 to 400.0 μmol/L. The detection limit （3or） obtained by square wave voltammetry （SWV） was 39.0 μmol/L. The practical application of the modified electrode was demonstrated by determining IP in IP ampoule, urine and human blood serum samples.

The current article presents conceptual,preliminary and detailed aero-thermal redesign of a typical high pressure turbine nozzle guide *** targets are lower coolant consumption,reduced manufacturing costs and improved *** goals are sought by 25%reduction in vane count number and lower number of airfoils per *** challenges such as higher airfoil loading,associate aerodynamic losses and higher thermal loads are *** order to maximize coolant flow reduction and avoid higher aerodynamic losses,airfoil Mach distribution is carefully *** has been an effort to limit design changes so that the proven design features of the original vane are used as much as ***,the same cooling concept is used with minor modifications of the internal structures in order to achieve desired coolant flow and internal heat transfer *** of the new design are quite similar to the original one except for cooling holes and application of thermal barrier coating(TBC).Detailed aerodynamics/heat transfer simulations reveals that the reduced trailing edge(T.E.)blockage and skin friction dominated the negative effect of increased secondary *** a result the reduced design performs acceptable in terms of total pressure loss and improving stage efficiency for a wide range of varying pressure ***,more than 20%cooling mass flow can be saved;while maximum and average metal temperatures as well as cross sectional temperature gradients have not been changed much.

A carbon paste electrode（CPE） chemically modified with multiwall carbon nanotubes and ferrocene（FC） was used as a selective electrochemical sensor for the simultaneous determination of trace amounts of cysteamine（CA） and folic acid（FA）.This modified electrode showed very efficient electrocatalytic activity for the anodic oxidation of *** peak current of differential pulse voltammograms of CA and FA increased linearly with their concentration in the ranges of 0.7-200μmol/L CA and 5.0- 700μmol/L *** detection limits for CA and FA were 0.3μmol/L and 2.0μmoI/L,*** diffusion coefficient（D） and transfer coefficient（α） of CA were also *** conditions are sufficient to allow determination of CA and FA both individually and simultaneously.

Physio-Mechanical Properties and Petrographic Analysis of NikanaiGhar Limestone KPK, Pakistan

Petrographic, physical, and mechanical assessment investigation of NikanaiGhar limestone aggregate exposed in the Lower Dir area of Malakand Division, Pakistan, were conducted to evaluate and investigate its potential for use as a construction material for engineering projects. Different geotechnical tests and petrographic analyses were performed to evaluate its potential for construction purposes. Geotechnical tests include unconfined compressive strength, ultimate tensile strength test, specific gravity, share strength, porosity, and water absorption. The evaluated physical attributes were compared to standard specifications to determine their suitability as a construction material. Petrographic investigation indicates mainly two types of stones. Stylolitic spar stone and Spar stone are metamorphosed equivalent limestones and are not prone to alkali-silica reactivity. Mutual relationships between physical parameters have been described by simple regression analysis. Significant direct correlation of specific gravity with ultimate tensile strength and uniaxial compressive strength was noted. However, negative trends of Porosity with ultimate tensile strength and uniaxial compressive strength were observed which is in accordance with standard. The analysis revealed that the limestones of NikanaiGhar Formation fall within the standard specification limits and can be used as aggregates for the indigenous construction industry.

Aggregate Suitability Assessment of Wargal Limestone for Pavement Construction in Pakistan

This paper presents the evaluation of the potential aggregate source for pavement construction in Pakistan. Recently the demand for construction materials has been increased significantly due to the establishment of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Projects. Therefore, it is essential to look for new resources of construction materials along with the CPEC routes in consideration of this increasing demand. In this context, a Physical and Mechanical characterization investigation is carried out on the Permian Wargal Limestone from Zaluch Nala, Salt Range to explore their potential to utilize as construction materials. The studied samples have tolerable values for all standard engineering parameters, proposed by various national and international agencies such as AASHTO, ASTM, BS, and NHA. Furthermore, as a performance indicator of aggregate overall quality, the evaluated mechanical qualities were integrated into a single characteristic, Toughness Index (TI). The TI values also suggested that the Permian Wargal limestone aggregates meet international quality standards for pavement construction. On the basis of geotechnical testing and Toughness Index (TI), the late Permian Wargal limestone, Zaluch Nala, Salt Range, is strongly recommended as a potential aggregate resource for mega projects such as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other construction projects.

Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus(CCHFV) is responsible for widespread tick-borne zoonotic viral disease CCHF in African, Middle Eastern, Asian, and European countries. CCHFV can be spread to humans through tick bites or contact with infected animals or humans, and it often progresses from asymptomatic to severe/lethal illness, with fatality rates ranging from 10% to 40% in humans. Today, CCHF is growing into a significant public health concern due to its very high prevalence, severity of the condition, and lack of available vaccines and specific treatments. Recent research has been drawn towards a more accurate study of CCHFV characteristics, including the structure, genetic diversity, mechanisms involved in pathogenesis and immunopathogenesis, and clinical features. In addition, the use of animal models(mouse and non-human primates) and advanced diagnostic tools in recent years has resulted in a significant advance in CCHF related studies. In this context, we summarized the latest findings about CCHF research, its health complications, animal models, current diagnosis, vaccination, and CCHF treatments, and therapeutic strategies. Furthermore, we discussed existing deficiencies and problems in CCHFV analysis, as well as areas that still need to yield conclusive answers.
