Construction of multifunctional lanthanum manganese mixed nanoparticles mediated by ionic liquids for selective aerobic oxidation of cyclohexane

Selective oxidation of alkanes to produce highvalue chemicals is an essential strategy and means to realize efficient utilization of *** this work,a strategy of lanthanum manganese mixed metal oxides(LMMO)regulated via a facile ionic liquid(IL)-assisted hydrothermal method was proposed to construct the multifunctional catalysts,which exhibited excellent catalytic performance in the selective aerobic oxidation of *** 8.9%cyclohexane conversion with 90%KA oi(cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone)selectivity was achieved over the optimal LMMO catalyst under mild *** effects of anion type,carbon chain length and concentration of ILs on the structure and properties of catalysts were investigated through various characterizations,indicating the structure-directing and template effect of ILs on the multifunctional *** formation of self-assembled spherical nanoparticles followed the"dissolution-nucleation-proliferation"mechanism with the introduction of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hydrogen sulfate,ascribing the synergistic effect between the microenvironment of ILs and the hydrothermal ***,the high reactive oxygen concentration redox capacity,and suitable basic sites of LMMO catalysts mediated by ILs enhance the activation of C-H bonds and molecular oxygen,simultaneously influencing the adsorption and desorption of the substrate.A comprehensive understanding of the high KA oil selectivity and radical reaction mechanism was elucidated based on in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS)and radical trapping *** recycling and regeneration experiments further illuminated that the removal of adsorbed cyclohexanone acting on the LMMO catalyst was the key to achieve high KA oil selectivity.

Strong and tough chitin hydrogel constructed by dehydration and rehydration strategy

As a renewable,biocompatible,biodegradable soft material,chitin hydrogels have better advantages in stability,antibacterial activity,antifouling,cost,immunogenicity,and so on than most polymer ***,compared with other widely used polymer hydrogels with high strength and toughness,the practical applications of chitin-based hydrogels have been limited by their weak mechanical properties,such as cartilage repair and meniscus ***,we present the design and fabrication of chitin hydrogels with excellent mechanical strength and toughness by a dehydration and rehydration *** sequential dehydration and rehydration processes,the crystalline domains in the chitin hydrogels can be properly *** optimized crystallinity,the elastic modulus of the chitin hydrogels exceeds all previously reported values,and the fracture toughness is even comparable to some synthetic polymer hydrogels,while maintaining a high-water-content of about 80 wt.%.At the same water content,the mechanical properties of the chitin hydrogels are positively correlated with the hydrogel crystallinity,which proves that the change of mechanical properties of hydrogels is not simply dependent on weight *** hydrogels can be further strengthened by incorporating other biopolymers that are intrinsically weak,which makes the hydrogels promising for applications in fields such as cartilage repair and meniscus ***,the hydrogels enable loading and release of water-soluble and poorly water-soluble *** highly extendable strengthening and toughening strategy of chitin and chitin-based biopolymer hydrogels paves the way for their widely applications.

Simplified design of nonlinear damper parameters and seismic responses for long-span cable-stayed bridges with nonlinear viscous dampers

Viscous dampers are widely used as passive energy dissipation devices for long-span cable-stayed bridges for mitigation of seismic load-induced ***,complicated finite element(FE)modeling,together with repetitive and computationally intensive nonlinear time-history analyses(NThas)are generally required in conventional design *** streamline the preliminary design process,this paper developed a simplified longitudinal double degree of freedom model(DDFM)for single and symmetric twin-tower cable-stayed *** on the proposed simplified longitudinal DDFM,the analytical equations for the relevant mass-and stiffness-related parameters and longitudinal natural frequencies of the structure were derived by using analytical and energy *** of the relationship between the nonlinear viscous damper parameters and the equivalent damping ratio was achieved through the equivalent linearization ***,the analytical equations of longitudinal seismic responses for long-span cable-stayed bridges with nonlinear viscous dampers were *** on the developed simplified DDFM and suggested analytical equations,this paper proposed a simplified calculation framework to achieve a simplified design method of nonlinear viscous damper ***,the effectiveness and applicability of the developed simplified longitudinal DDFM and the proposed calculation framework were further validated through numerical analysis of a practical cable-stayed ***,the results indicated the following.1)For the obtained fundamental period and longitudinal stiffness,the differences between results of the simplified longitudinal DDFM and numerical analysis were only 2.05%and 1.5%,respectively.2)Relative calculation errors of the longitudinal girder-end displacement and bending moment of the bottom tower section of the bridge obtained from the simplified longitudinal DDFM were limited to less than 25%.3)The equivalent damping ratio of nonline

The coordinated control of parallel three-phase fourwire converters in autonomous AC microgrids is investigated in this ***,based on droop control,virtual impedance is inserted in positive-,negative-and zero-sequences to enhance system damping and imbalance power ***,to facilitate virtual impedance design,small signal models of the three-sequence equivalent circuits are established *** indexes are proposed to comprehensively evaluate the impact of sequence virtual impedance on current sharing accuracy,voltage quality at the point of common coupling(PCC)and system *** addition,constraint of DClink voltage is also considered to avoid over modulation when subjected to unbalanced ***,to address the PCC voltage degradation resulting from virtual impedance,a voltage imbalance compensation method,based on low-bandwidth communication,is ***,simulation and experimental results are provided to verify the correctness of the theory model,indicating that the proposed method can achieve PCC voltage restoration while guaranteeing the current sharing accuracy with desirable dynamics.

Dual-salt poly(tetrahydrofuran) electrolyte enables quasi-solid-state lithium metal batteries to operate at -30 ℃

The stable operation of solid-state lithium metal batteries at low temperatures is plagued by severe restrictions from inferior electrolyte-electrode interface compatibility and increased energy barrier for li^(+)***,we prepare a dual-salt poly(tetrahydrofuran)-based electrolyte consisting of lithium hexafluorophosphate and lithium difluoro(oxalato)borate(liDFOB).The li-salt anions(DFOB−)not only accelerate the ring-opening polymerization of tetrahydrofuran,but also promote the formation of highly ion-conductive and sustainable interphases on li metal anodes without sacrificing the li^(+)conductivity of electrolytes,which is favorable for li^(+)transport kinetics at low *** of this polymer electrolyte in li||liFePO_(4)cells show 82.3%capacity retention over 1000 cycles at 30℃and endow stable discharge capacity at−30℃.Remarkably,the li||liFePO4 cells retain 52%of their room-temperature capacity at−20℃and 0.1 *** rational design of dual-salt polymer-based electrolytes may provide a new perspective for the stable operation of quasi-solid-state batteries at low temperatures.

Hydrothermal hydrogenation/deoxygenation of palmitic acid to alkanes over Ni/activated carbon catalyst

To produce paraffin from hydrogenation/deoxygenation of palmitic acid,model compound of bio-oil obtained by hydrothermal liquefaction(HTL)of microalgae has been an attractive focus in recent *** order to avoid energy-intensive separation process of water and bio-oil,it is of importance that deoxygenation upgrading of fatty acids under hydrothermal conditions similar to HTL ***,it is the first time to explore the application of activated carbon(AC)-supported non-noble-metal catalysts,such as Ni,Co,and Mo,and so on,in the hydrothermal hydrogenation/deoxygenation of long-chain fatty acids,and the obtained Ni/AC-H(the Ni/AC was further H_(2)pre-reduced)is one of the best *** addition,it is found that the catalytic activity can be further improved by H_(2)pre-reduction of *** results that are more low valences of nickel and oxygen vacancy can be obtained after H_(2)pre-reduction,thus significant promoting the deoxygenation especially the decarbonylation pathway of fatty *** total alkanes yield can reaches 95.9%at optimal conditions(280℃,360 min).This work confirmed that the low-priced AC-supported non-noble-metal catalysts have great potential compared with the noble-metal catalyst,in hydrothermal upgrading of bio-oil.

Plasma-exfoliated g-C_(3)N_(4) with oxygen doping: tailoring photocatalytic properties

Heteroatom doping and defect engineering have been proposed as effective ways to modulate the energy band structure and improve the photocatalytic activity of g-C_(3)N_(4). In this work, ultrathin defective g-C_(3)N_(4) was successfully prepared using cold plasma. Plasma exfoliation reduces the thickness of g-C_(3)N_(4) from 10 nm to 3 nm, while simultaneously introducing a large number of nitrogen defects and oxygen atoms into g-C_(3)N_(4). The amount of doped O was regulated by varying the time and power of the plasma treatment. Due to N vacancies, O atoms formed strong bonds with C atoms, resulting in O doping in g-C_(3)N_(4). The mechanism of plasma treatment involves oxygen etching and gas expansion. Photocatalytic experiments demonstrated that appropriate amount of O doping improved the photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B compared with pure g-C_(3)N_(4). The introduction of O optimized the energy band structure and photoelectric properties of g-C_(3)N_(4). Active species trapping experiments revealed ·O_(2)^(–) as the main active species during the degradation.

Local tetragonal distortion of Pt alloy catalysts for enhanced oxygen reduction reaction efficiency

Platinum-based alloy nanoparticles are the most attractive catalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction at present,but an in-depth understanding of the relationship between their short-range structural information and catalytic performance is still ***,we present a synthetic strategy that uses transition-metal oxide-assisted thermal ***/C catalysts with localized tetragonal distortion were obtained by controlling the thermal diffusion process of transition-metal *** localized structural distortion induced a significant strain effect on the nanoparticle surface,which further shortened the length of the Pt-Pt bond,improved the electronic state of the Pt surface,and enhanced the performance of the ***/C catalysts with special short-range structures achieved excellent mass activity(2.27 Amg_(Pt)^(-1))and specific activity(3.34 A cm^(-2)).In addition,the localized tetragonal distortion-induced surface compression of the Pt skin improved the stability of the *** mass activity decreased by only 13%after 30,000 *** catalyst activity and excellent durability have also been demonstrated in the proton exchange membrane fuel cell *** study provides valuable insights into the development of advanced Pt-based nanocatalysts and paves the way for reducing noble-metal loading and increasing the catalytic activity and catalyst stability.

Transient Monte Carlo simulation of phonon transport in silicon nanofilms with the local heat source

Accurate prediction of junction temperature is crucial for the efficient thermal design of silicon nano-devices. In nano-scale semiconductor devices, significant ballistic effects occur due to the mean free path of phonons comparable to the heat source size and device scale. We employ a three-dimensional non-gray Monte Carlo simulation to investigate the transient heat conduction of silicon nanofilms with both single and multiple heat sources. The accuracy of the present method is first verified in the ballistic and diffusion limits. When a single local heat source is present, the width of the heat source has a significant impact on heat conduction in the domain. Notably, there is a substantial temperature jump at the boundary when the heat source width is 10 *** increasing heat source width, the boundary temperature jump weakens. Furthermore, we observe that the temperature excitation rate is independent of the heat source width, while the temperature influence range expands simultaneously with the increase in heat source width. Around 500 ps, the temperature and heat flux distribution in the domain stabilize. In the case of dual heat sources, the hot zone is broader than that of a single heat source, and the temperature of the hot spot decreases as the heat source spacing increases. However, the mean heat flux remains unaffected. Upon reaching a spacing of 200 nm between the heat sources, the peak temperature in the domain remains unchanged once a steady state is reached. These findings hold significant implications for the thermal design of silicon nano-devices with local heat sources.

Objective:This study aims to provide a theoretical foundation for the development and practical application of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS)prevention and control policy systems in China by scrutinizing,analyzing,and synthesizing the evolution of Chinese policies in this ***:Utilizing grounded theory,we employed NVivo12 software to perform text content analysis,mining,and coding classification,along with visualization techniques,on policy texts sourced from Chinese government platforms,including the official website of China’s State *** considered four analytical dimensions—time,subject,type,and ***:The National Health Commission and the State Council emerged as the primary entities engaged in policymaking for HIV/AIDS in *** identified four distinct stages in the evolution of these policies,culminating in a novel‘sun-shaped’HIV/AIDS prevention and control policy network model with an emphasis on‘knowledge,attitude,and practice’at its nucleus,which aligns with national conditions and societal ***,the focal groups of these policies have been dynamically refined and updated over ***:Our findings introduce a‘sunshaped’HIV/AIDS prevention and control policy network model specific to *** observed a conceptual policy shift towards prioritizing overall human health rather than confining the focus to disease ***,in light of China’s growing elderly population,the imperative to address HIV/AIDS prevention and control among older adults is an issue that warrants increased attention.
