Systematic Acupuncture Explains Acupuncture at Baihui(GV20) and Fengchi(GB20) Targeting the Inflammatory Response to Regulate Migraine

Objective: To take Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20) targeting inflammatory response to regulate migraine as an example to describe a new method for studying the mechanism of stimulating ***: The target information of Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20) was retrieved， and after intersection with migraine， Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG)， Reactome， and UniProt Keywords were used for functional enrichment. After selecting the main pathway， rats were selected and nitroglycerin was used for modeling， and the behavioral scores， inflammatory factors， heme oxygenase 1 (HMOX1)， protein kinase B (AKT1)， signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3)， phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 (P-ERK1/ERK2) and other states of the rats in the acupuncture， twisting， and electroacupuncture groups were ***: A total of 135 Baihui (GV20) targets and 27 Fengchi (GB20) targets were collected. A total of 73 target information were obtained after the intersection of these targets in migraine. These 73 targets have three main pathways: hypoxia-inducible factor 1 (HIF-1) signaling pathway， signaling by interleukins and inflammatory response. The main targets in the pathway were verified and found that interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β)， interleukin-6 (IL-6)， tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and HMOX1， AKT1， STAT3， P-ERK1/ERK2 can be regulated by Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20).Conclusion: Baihui (GV20) and Fengchi (GB20) can regulate migraine by regulating inflammatory factors and HMOX1， AKT1， STAT3， P-ERK1/ERK2 and other changes in HIF-1 signaling pathway， Signaling by Interleukins and Inflammatory response pathways. Based on systems biology and network pharmacology， and with the model of "acupoint-target-disease"， explore the research methods of systematic acupuncture and moxibustion. We believe this is a usable research direction for exploring the mechanism of acupuncture stimulation.

Exploring NiCo2S4 nanosheets arrays by hydrothermal conversion for enhanced high-rate batteries

Highly cross-linked porous NiCo2S4 nanosheets arrays are synthesized by a high-efficiency hydrothermal conversion from the preformed electrodeposited NiCo2O4 arrays. By using thioacetamide as the sulfur source, the electrodeposited NiCo2O4 is directly converted into NiCo2O4 nanosheets arrays without hightemperature sulfurization. Higher porosity and better electrical conductivity are obtained for the NiCo2O4 nanosheets arrays. In addition, reduced diffusion paths of electrons/ions and alleviated volume expansion during cycling are achieved due to the unique porous structure of NiCo2S4. Consequently, as the cathode of alkaline batteries, the obtained NiCo2S4 nanosheets arrays show better electrochemical performance with a high specific capacity(83.5 m Ah g-1 at 0.5 A g-1) and better cycling stability(capacity retention of 93% after 5000 cycles) than the NiCo2O4 counterpart arrays(40.3 mAh g-1 at 0.5 A g-1). Our work demonstrates that sulfurization on binary metal oxides can greatly enhance electrochemical performance and shows a new way for construction of advanced electrodes for high-rate batteries.

We obtain the sharp upper and lower bounds for the spectral radius of a nonnegative weakly irreducible *** using the technique of the representation associate matrix of a tensor and the associate directed graph of the matrix,the equality cases of the bounds are completely characterized by graph theory *** these bounds to a nonnegative irreducible matrix or a connected graph(digraph),we can improve the results of ***,***,and ***[Linear Multilinear Algebra,2017,65(1):113-128],and obtain some new or known *** these bounds to a uniform hypergraph,we obtain some new results and improve some known results of ***,***,and ***[Linear Algebra Appl.,2015,484:540-549].Finally,we give a characterization of a strongly connected/c-uniform directed hypergraph,and obtain some new results by applying these bounds to a uniform directed hypergraph.

The deep surrounding rock is usually in the true triaxial stress state,and previous constitutive models based on the understanding of uniaxial and conventional triaxial test results have difficulty characterizing the degradation and fracture process of rock ductile–brittle failure under true triaxial stress ***,this study conducted a series of true triaxial tests to obtain the understanding of the ductile–brittle behaviour of rock,and then combined the test results and the Mogi–Coulomb strength criterion,and proposed calculation methods for the elastic modulus E,cohesion c and internal friction angle u and the evolution functions of E,c and u of rock under true triaxial *** the decreasing of the minimum principal stress r3 or increasing of the intermediate principal stress r2,the marble post-peak stress drop rate gradually increases,the ductility gradually weakens,and the brittleness significantly *** calculation method and evolution function of rock E,c and u under true triaxial stress were proposed.E decreased at first and then tended to remain stable with the increasing of equivalent plastic strain increment dep.c and u slowly increased at first and then rapidly *** a method of parameter degradation rate to realize post-peak stress drop rate to reflect the ductile–brittle characteristics,a new three-dimensional ductile–brittle deterioration mechanical model(3DBDM)was *** proposed model can accurately characterize the influence of r2 and r3 on mechanical parameters,the ductile–brittle behaviour of rock under true triaxial stresses,and the asymmetric failure characteristics of surrounding rock after excavation of deep underground *** proposed model can be reduced to elastic–perfectly plastic,elastic–brittle,cohesion weakening friction strengthening(CWFS),Mohr–Coulomb,and Drucker–Prager models.

Boosting fast lithium ion storage of Li4Ti5O12 by synergistic effect of vertical graphene and nitrogen doping

The advancement of power-type lithium ion batteries（LIBs） mainly depends on the construction of electrodes with superior electronic & ionic conductivity. In this work, a synergistic combination of nitrogen doped LiTiO（N-LTO） nanoparticles and highly conductive vertical graphene（VG） skeleton is proposed to obtain ultrafast Li ion storage performance via a facile hydrothermal-nitridation method. The as-synthesized composite nanosheets are composed of interconnected N-LTO shell and VG core to form the final N-LTO/VG core-shell arrays, which are systematically studied as the anodes of LIBs. In virtue of the positive synergistic effect of high conductive VG backbone and nitrogen doping, overwhelming advantages including high specific surface area, superb structural stability and enhanced conductivity are achieved in the well-designed N-LTO/VG electrodes. Accordingly, the as-synthesized N-LTO/VG electrode shows outstanding high rate capacity(142.5 m Ah gat 20 C) and superior long-term cycling stability（capacity retention of 98.9% after 10000 cycles at 5 C）, better than LTO/VG electrode without N *** research provides a new strategy for the synthesis of high-performance hybrid electrodes for application in power-type LIBs.

Understanding Broad Polydispersity in Step-growth Polymerization via Catalyst Competition Mechanism

Conjugated polymers are mainly synthesized by cross-coupling polymerizations catalyzed with transition metal(Pd,Ni)catalysts through step-growth polymerization(SGP)*** to the classical theory of SGP,the polymer dispersion index(D)of the synthesized polymers will never be higher than ***,the cases where conjugated polymers synthesized with D value far exceeding 2 are very common in reality,which severely limits their processing property,performance and *** investigate the reason behind the D value deviation from the theoretical value of SGP,direct arylation polycondensation(DArP)of 2-bromo-3-hexylthiophene(3HT)was chosen as the model reaction,and the reaction process was tracked using gel permeation chromatography *** Pd(OAc)_(2) was used as the catalyst,the D value linearly increased with the increase of the weight-average molecular weight(M_(w))of polymer(P3HT)after a short period and reached up to 7.2 at prolonged reaction *** transmission electron microscopic images of the reaction mixture showed the fibril-like aggregation of P3HT and assembling of Pd species in P3HT aggregates.A catalyst competition mechanism was thus proposed,together with numerical calculation,giving a good fitting to the experimental results,which is believed to have far-reaching significance for guiding the design,synthesis and processing of conjugated polymers.

Seed germination of plants with various acid-resis tance display different responses to acid *** understand the reason why such differences occur,the effects of sim ulated acid rain(pH 2.5-5.0)on the activities of peroxidase(POD)and catalase(CAT)during sced ger-mination of rice(***),wheat(***),and rape(*** ***)were investigated.R cesults indi-cated that the maximum change in activities of CAT and POD by acid rain treatment with different acidity and time in relation to the referent treatment without acid rain,was in the order:rice(28.8%,31.7%)wheat(4.0)>rape(5.0).Moreover,the change in activity of POD was higher than that of CAT,which showed that POD was more sensitive to acid rain stress than *** difference in the ability of POD and CAT in removing free radicals was one reason why the germina-tion indexes of these three species behaved differently.

Synthesis and Characterization of Fluorinated Polyimide Derived from 3,3＇-Diisopropyl-4,4＇-diaminodiphenyl- 3＂,4＂-difluorophenylmethane

A novel aromatic diamine monomer, 3,3＇-diisopropyl-4,4＇-diaminodiphenyl-3＂,4＂-difluorophenylmethane （PAFM）, was successfully synthesized by coupling of 2-isopropylaniline and 3,4-difluorobenzaldehyde. The aro- matic diamine was adopted to synthesize a series of fluorinated polyimides by polycondensation with various dian- hydrides： pyromellitic dianhydride （PMDA）, 3,3＇,4,4＇-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride （BPDA）, 4,4＇-oxydiph- thalic anhydride （ODPA） and 3,3＇,4,4＇-benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride （BTDA） via the conventional one-step method. These polyimides presented excellent solubility in common organic solvents, such as N,N-dimeth- ylformamide （DMF）, N,N-dimethyl acetamide （DMAc）, dimethyl sulfoxide （DMSO）, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone （NMP）, chloroform （CHC13）, tetrahydrofuran （THF） and so on. The glass transition temperatures （Tg） of fluorinated polyimides were in the range of 260--306 ℃ and the temperature at 10% weight loss in the range of 474--502 ℃ Their films showed the cut-off wavelengths of 330--361 nm and higher than 80% transparency in a wavelength range of 385--463 nm. Moreover, polymer films exhibited low dielectric properties in the range of 2.76--2.96 at 1 MHz, as well as prominent mechanical properties with tensile strengths of 66.7--97.4 MPa, a tensile modulus of 1.7--2.1 GPa and elongation at break of 7.2%- 12.9%. The polymer films also showed outstanding hydrophobicity with the contact angle in the range of 91.2°--97.9°.

Novel Non-Coplanar and Tertbutyl-Substituted Polyimides:Solubility,Optical,Thermal and Dielectric Properties

A novel aromatic diamine monomer bearing tertbutyl and 4-tertbutylphenyl groups,3,3'-ditertbutyl-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl-4''-tertbutylphenylmethane(TADBP),was prepared and characterized.A series of non-coplanar polyimides(PIs)were synthesized via a conventional one-step polycondensation from TADBP and various aromatic dianhydrides including pyromellitic dianhydride(PMDA),3,3',4,4'-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride(BPDA),4,4'-oxydiphthalic anhydride(OPDA),3,3',4,4'-benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride(BTDA)and 4,4'-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)dipthalic anhydride(6FDA).All PIs exhibit excellent solubility in common organic solvents such as N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF),N,N-dimethylacetamide(DMAc),N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone(NMP),dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO),chloroform(CHCl3),tetrahydrofuran(THF),and so ***,the obtained transparent,strong and flexible polyimide films present good thermal stability and outstanding optical *** glass transition temperatures(Tgs)are in the range of 298 to 347℃,and 10%weight loss temperatures are in excess of 490℃with more than 53%char yield at 800℃in *** the polyimides can be cast into transparent and flexible films with tensile strength of 80.5-101 MPa,elongation at break of 8.4%-10.5%,and Young's modulus of 2.3-2.8 ***,the PIs show the cutoff wavelengths of 302-356 nm,as well as low moisture absorption(0.30%-0.55%)and low dielectric constant(2.78-3.12 at 1 MHz).

The glucosinolate regulation in plant: A new view on lanthanum stimulating the growth of plant

The harmful effect of low-concentration lanthanum [La(Ⅲ)] on plants was investigated by choosing horseradish as a representative of plants and using the methods of physics, analytical chemistry and biology. The results show that the genetic expressions related to glucosinolates(GLS, the marker of plant resisting harmful effects) synthesis are significantly increased after the endocytosis in leaf cells is initiated by low-concentrations La(Ⅲ). Consequently, the activities in the key enzymes for catalyzing the GLS synthesis are promoted. Meanwhile, the contents of the precursors and substrates in GLS synthesis are increased. All the above changes accelerate the GLS synthesis and result in the maximum increase in GLS content by 14%. Finally, the uptake of nutrient elements in horseradish is enhanced, and the yield of horseradish is maximally increased by 25%. Therefore, low-concentration La(Ⅲ) is harmful to plants, and plants can promote growth to resist the harmful effects of low-concentration La(Ⅲ) by regulating GLS content. The results show a new insight into how rare earth elements stimulate plant growth, and provide a reference for the risk assessment of rare earth elements.
