Stable carbon isotope geochemistry provides important information for the recognition of funda- mental isotope exchange processes related to the movement of carbon in the lithosphere and permits the elab- oration of models for the global carbon cycle. Carbon isotope ratios in fluid-deposited graphite are powerful tools for unravelling the ultimate origin of carbon （organic matter, mantle, or carbonates） and help to constrain the fluid history and the mechanisms involved in graphite deposition. Graphite precipitation in fluid-deposited occurrences results from C02- and/or CH4-bearing aqueous fluids. fluid flow can be considered as both a closed （without replenishment of the fluid） or an open system （with renewal of the fluid by successive fluid batches）. In closed systems, carbon isotope systematics in graphite is mainly governed by Rayleigh precipi- tation and/or by changes in temperature affecting the fractionation factor between fluid and graphite. Such processes result in zoned graphite crystals or in successive graphite generations showing, in both cases, isotopic variation towards progressive 13C or 12C enrichment （depending upon the dominant carbon phase in the fluid, C02 or CH4, respectively）. In open systems, in which carbon is episodically introduced along the fracture systems, the carbon systematics is more complex and individual graphite crystals may display oscillatory zoning because of Rayleigh precipitation or heterogeneous variations of 613C values when mixing of fluids or changes in the composition of the fluids are the mechanisms responsible for graphite precipitation.

Carbon fixation is the main route of inorganic carbon in the form of CO2 into the *** nature,RuBisCO is the most abundant protein that photosynthetic organisms use to fix CO2 from the atmosphere through the Calvin-Benson-Bassham(CBB)***,the CBB cycle is limited by its low catalytic rate and low energy *** this work,we attempt to integrate the reductive tricarboxylic acid and CBB cycles in silico to further improve carbon fixation *** heterologous enzymes,mostly carboxylating enzymes,are inserted into the Esherichia coli core metabolic network to assimilate CO2 into biomass using hydrogen as energy ***,such a strain shows enhanced growth yield with simultaneous running of dual carbon fixation *** key results include the following.(i)We identified two main growth states:carbon-limited and hydrogenlimited;(ii)we identified a hierarchy of carbon fixation usage when hydrogen supply is limited;and(iii)we identified the alternative sub-optimal growth mode while performing genetic *** results and modeling approach can guide bioengineering projects toward optimal production using such a strain as a microbial cell factory.

Ruxolitinib is a cornerstone of management for some subsets of myeloproliferative neoplasms(MPNs);however,a considerable number of patients respond ***,we evaluated the efficacy of micheliolide(MCL),a natural guaianolide sesquiterpene lactone,alone or in combination with ruxolitinib in samples from patients with MPNs,JAK2V617f-mutated MPN cell lines,and a Jak2V617f knock-in mouse *** effectively suppressed colony.f.rmation of hematopoietic progenitors in samples from patients with MPNs and inhibited cell growth and survival of MPN cell lines in ***-treatment with MCL and ruxolitinib resulted in greater inhibitory effects compared with treatment with ruxolitinib ***,dimethylaminomicheliolide(DMAMCL),an orally available derivative of MCL,significantly increased the efficacy of ruxolitinib in reducing splenomegaly and cytokine production in Jak2V617f knock-in mice without evident effects on normal ***,MCL could target the Jak2V617f clone and reduce mutant allele burden in ***,MCL can form a stable covalent bond with cysteine residues of STAT3/5 to suppress their phosphorylation,thus inhibiting JAK/STAT ***,these findings suggest that MCL is a promising drug in combination with ruxolitinib in the setting of suboptimal response to ruxolitinib.

A （v, k, λ） difference family （（v, k, λ）-Df in short） over an abelian group G of order v, is a collection f=（Bi｜i ∈ I} of k-subsets of G, called base blocks, such that any nonzero element of G can be represented in precisely A ways as a difference of two elements lying in some base blocks in f. A （v, k, λ）-DDf is a difference family with disjoint blocks. In this paper, by using Weil＇s theorem on character sum estimates, it is proved that there exists a （p^n, 4, 1）-DDf, where p = 1 （rood 12） is a prime number and n ≥1.

Age and gender are the important factors for brain metabolic declines in both normal aging and neurodegeneration,and the confounding effects may influence early and differential diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases based on the[^(18)f]fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography([^(18)f]fDG PET).We aimed to explore the potential of the adjustment of age-and gender-related confounding factors on[^(18)f]fDG PET images in differentiation of Parkinson’s disease(PD),multiple system atrophy(MSA)and progressive supra-nuclear palsy(PSP).Eight hundred and seventy-seven clinically definitely diagnosed Parkinsonian patients from a benchmark Huashan Parkinsonian PET imaging database were *** age-and gender-adjusted Z(AGAZ)score was established based on the gender-specific longitudinal metabolic changes on healthy *** scores and standardized uptake value ratio(SUVR)values were quantified at regional-level and support vector machine-based error-correcting output codes method was applied for *** references of the classifications based on metabolic pattern scores were *** feature-based AGAZ score showed the best performance in classification(accuracy.f.r PD,MSA,PSP:93.1%,96.3%,94.8%).In both genders,the AGAZ score con-sistently achieved the best efficiency,and the improvements compared to the conventional SUVR value for PD,MSA,and PSP mainly laid in specificity(Male:5.7%;female:11.1%),sensitivity(Male:7.2%;female:7.3%),and sensitivity(Male:7.3%;female:17.2%).female patients benefited more from the adjustment on[^(18)f]fDG PET in MSA and PSP groups(absolute net reclassification index,py,the adjustment of age-and gender-related confounding factors may improve the differential diagnosis of ***,the diagnosis of female Parkinsonian population has the best improvement from this correction.
