Cellular heterogeneity is a universal property of living systems,and the interrogation of single cells facilitates in-depth understanding of distinct cellular states and functions in various biological processes.Co-analysis of transcripts and proteins from the same single cells opens the way to decipher complex RNA regulatory frameworks and phenotypes,facilitating the understanding of cellular fate and function regulations,discovery of novel cell types,and construction of a high-resolution cell atlas.Herein,we review the state-of-art advances in the development of methodologies for co-analysis of single-cell transcripts and proteins.First,imaging-based methods are summarized with particular emphasis on optical and mass spectrometry imaging.Next,sequencing-based approaches for high-throughput and sensitive co-analysis of single-cell transcripts and proteins are described,including droplet-,microwell-,and split-pool-based platforms.Subsequently,combined methods with more flexibility and universality are discussed.These methods commonly employ different strategies or reactions to convert transcripts and proteins of single cells into distinct signals simultaneously,which can be detected by different instruments or platforms.Lastly,some perspectives on the future challenges and development trends in this field are presented.

To the Editor:Neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus(NPSLE)is a group of serious complications of systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)with poor prognosis and high mortality.^([1])Therefore,identifying risk factors for NPSLE is particularly crucial for the improvement of the outcomes of patients.Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is currently the imaging test of choice for diagnosing patients with NPSLE.However,almost half of the patients with NPSLE show no abnormalities on conventional MRI.^([2])Therefore,the correlation between neuropsychiatric symptoms,which refer to multiple neuropsychiatric manifestations directly related to SLE,and MRI findings should be urgently studied.In this study,we investigated the clinical features,outcomes,and prognostic factors of NPSLE and analyzed the correlation of neuropsychiatric symptoms with MRI features.

Catalytic oxidation of toluene by manganese oxides:Effect of K^(+)doping on oxygen vacancy

Alkali metal potassium was beneficial to the electronic regulation and structural stability of transition metal oxides.Herein,K ions were introduced into manganese oxides by different methods to improve the degradation efficiency of toluene.The results of activity experiments indicated that KMnO_(4)-HT(HT:Hydrothermal method)exhibited outstanding low-temperature catalytic activity,and 90%conversion of toluene can be achieved at 243℃,which was 41℃and 43℃lower than that of KNO_(3)-HT and Mn-HT,respectively.The largest specific surface area was observed on KMnO_(4)-HT,facilitating the adsorption of toluene.The formation of cryptomelane structure over KMnO_(4)-HT could contribute to higher content of Mn^(3+)and lattice oxygen(Olatt),excellent low-temperature reducibility,and high oxygen mobility,which could increase the catalytic performance.Furthermore,two distinct degradation pathways were inferred.PathwayⅠ(KMnO_(4)-HT):toluene→benzyl→benzoic acid→carbonate→CO_(2)and H2O;PathwayⅡ(Mn-HT):toluene→benzyl alcohol→benzoic acid→phenol→maleic anhydride→CO_(2)and H2O.Fewer intermediates were detected on KMnO_(4)-HT,indicating its stronger oxidation capacity of toluene,which was originated from the doping of K^(+)and the interaction between K-O-Mn.More intermediates were observed on Mn-HT,which can be attributed to the weaker oxidation ability of pure Mn.The results indicated that the doping of K^(+)can improve the catalytic oxidation capacity of toluene,resulting in promoted degradation of intermediates during the oxidation of toluene.

Large‐scale underground hydrogen storage(UHS)provides a promising method for increasing the role of hydrogen in the process of carbon neutrality and energy transition.Of all the existing storage deposits,salt caverns are recognized as ideal sites for pure hydrogen storage.Evaluation and optimization of site selection for hydrogen storage facilities in salt caverns have become significant issues.In this article,the software CiteSpace is used to analyze and filter hot topics in published research.Based on a detailed classification and analysis,a“four‐factor”model for the site selection of salt cavern hydrogen storage is proposed,encompassing the dynamic demands of hydrogen energy,geological,hydrological,and ground factors of salt mines.Subsequently,20 basic indicators for comprehensive suitability grading of the target site were screened using the analytic hierarchy process and expert survey methods were adopted,which provided a preliminary site selection system for salt cavern hydrogen storage.Ultimately,the developed system was applied for the evaluation of salt cavern hydrogen storage sites in the salt mines of Pingdingshan City,Henan Province,thereby confirming its rationality and effectiveness.This research provides a feasible method and theoretical basis for the site selection of UHS in salt caverns in China.

Frequency modulation(FM)-to-amplitude modulation(AM) conversion is an important factor that affects the time±power curve of inertial confinement fusion(ICF) high-power laser facilities. This conversion can impact uniform compression and increase the risk of damage to optics. However, the dispersive grating used in the smoothing by spectral dispersion technology will introduce a temporal delay and can spatially smooth the target. The combined effect of the dispersive grating and the focusing lens is equivalent to a Gaussian low-pass filter, which is equivalent to 8 GHz bandwidth and can reduce the intensity modulation on the target to below 5% with 0.3 nm @ 3 GHz + 20 GHz spectrum phase modulation. The results play an important role in the testing and evaluating of the FM-to-AM on the final optics and the target, which is beneficial for comprehensively evaluating the load capacity of the facility and isentropic compression experiment for ICF.

Comparison of the Development Model of DTP Pharmacy between China and the United States and Its Enlightenment

Objective To systematically analyze the development status of DTP pharmacy in the United States and China,and to find out the problems in China’s DTP pharmacy and put forward some countermeasures and suggestions.Methods Relevant literature was searched and reviewed to study the history,market scale and development trend of DTP pharmacy in the United States and China.Then,the problems in China’s DTP pharmacy were found out.Results and Conclusion DTP pharmacy model in the U.S.has taken shape and is maturing.The high degree of industry concentration is an important feature of the U.S.pharmacy.In contrast,China’s DTP pharmacy started late,and the industry pattern has not yet been finalized.There are still some problems in the DTP pharmacy certification and quality management.It is recommended to promote the rapid development of DTP pharmacies in China by encouraging the outflow of prescription drugs,establishing a third-party pharmacy accreditation organization and strengthening the team of licensed pharmacists and other personnel.

The Detecting System of Image Forgeries with Noise Features and EXIF Information

Recently, the digital image blind forensics technology has received an increasing attention in academic community. This paper aims at developing a new identification approach based on the statistical noise and exchangeable image file format(EXIF) information of image for images authentication. In particular, the authors can identify whether the current image has been modified or not by utilizing the relevance between noise and EXIF parameters and comparing the real values with the estimated values of the EXIF parameters. Experimental results validate the proposed method. That is, the detecting system can identify the doctored image effectively.

This paper generalizes the method of Ngo and Winkler(2010,2011)for finding rational general solutions of a first order non-autonomous algebraic ordinary differential equation(AODE)to the case of a higher order AODE,provided a proper parametrization of its solution hypersurface.The authors reduce the problem of finding the rational general solution of a higher order AODE to finding the rational general solution of an associated system.The rational general solutions of the original AODE and its associated system are in computable 1-1 correspondence.The authors give necessary and sufficient conditions for the associated system to have a rational solution based on proper reparametrization of invariant algebraic space curves.The authors also relate invariant space curves to first integrals and characterize rationally solvable systems by rational first integrals.

Backfilling technology and strata behaviors in fully mechanized coal mining working face

Based on the principle of fully mechanized backfilling and coal mining technology and combined with the Xingtai Coal Mine conditions,we mainly optimized the coal mining equipment and adjusted the coal mining method in the Xingtai Coal Mine 7606 working face for implementation this technology.Firstly,we define the practical backfilling process as the ''(from backfilling scraper conveyor's) head to tail backfilling,step by step swinging up of the tamping arm,gradual compacting,moving formed backfilling scraper conveyor when the second tamping arm cannot pass and connecting the immediate roof by back material push front material movement''.Meanwhile,the stress changes of backfill body in coal mined out area was monitored by stress sensors,and the roof caving law was analyzed by monitoring the dynamic subsidence of à210 west roadway of this face.The site tests results show that using this new backfilling and coal mining integrated technology,the production capacity in the 7606 working face can reach to 283,000 ton a year,and 282,000 ton of solid materials(waste and fly ash) is backfilled,which meets the needs of high production and efficiency.The goaf was compactly backfilled with solid material and the strata behavior was quite desirable,with an actual maximum vertical stress of the backfill body of 5.5 MPa.Backfill body control the movement of overburden within a certain range,and there is no collapses of major areas in the overlying strata upon backfilled gob.The maximum subsidence and speed were 231 mm and 15.75 mm/d respectively,which proved the practical significance of this integrated technology.
