BACKGROUND Severe acute p.ncreatitis(SAp.is a familiar critical disease in the intensive care unit(ICU)*** staff are imp.rtant sp.ritual p.llars during the treatment of p.tients,and in addition to routine nursing,more attention needs be p.id to the p.tient’s p.ychological *** To investigate the effects of p.ychological intervention in ICU p.tients with *** One hundred ICU p.tients with SAp.were hosp.talized in the authors’hosp.tal between 2020 and 2023 were selected,and divided into observation and control group. p.r the hosp.talization *** control and observation group. received routine nursing and p.ychological interventions,*** group. are being comp.red,using the Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Determination Scale(SDS),Acute p.ysiology and Chronic Health Evaluation(Ap.CHE)Ⅱ,and 36-item Short Form Health Survey(SF-36)scores;nursing satisfaction of p.tients;ICU care duration;length of stay;hosp.talization exp.nses;and the incidence of *** After nursing,the SDS,SAS,and Ap.CHEⅡ scores in the exp.rimental group.were significantly lower than in the control group.p.0.05).The SF-36 scores in the observation group.were significantly higher than those in the control group.p.0.05).The nursing satisfaction of p.tients in the exp.rimental group.was 94.5%,considerably higher than that of 75.6% in the control group.p.0.05).The ICU care duration,length of stay,and hosp.talization exp.nses in the observation group.were significantly lower than those in the control group.and the incidence of comp.ications was lower(p.0.05).CONCLUSION For p.tients with SAp.the imp.ementation of standardized p.ychological intervention measures can effectively alleviate adverse p.ychological conditions.

Industrial coking facilities are an imp.rtant emission source for volatile organic comp.unds(VOCs).This study analyzed the atmosp.eric VOC characteristics within an industrial coking facility and its surrounding *** concentrations of total VOCs(TVOCs)in the surrounding residential activity areas(R1 and R2),the coking facility(CF)and the control area(CA)were determined to be 138.5,47.8,550.0,and 15.0μg/m^(3),*** cold drum p.ocess and coking and quenching areas within the coking facility were identified as the main p.lluting *** sp.tial variation in VOCs comp.sition was analyzed,showing that VOCs in the coking facility and surrounding areas were mainly dominated by aromatic comp.unds such as BTX(benzene,toluene,and xylenes)and nap.thalene,with concentrations being negatively correlated with the distance from the coking facility(p.0.01).The sources of VOCs in different functional areas across the monitoring area were analyzed,finding that coking emissions accounted for 73.5%,33.3% and 27.7% of TVOCs in CF,R1 and R2,*** results demonstrated that coking emissions had a significant imp.ct on VOC concentrations in the areas surrounding coking *** study evaluates the sp.tial variation in exp.sure to VOCs,p.oviding imp.rtant information for the influence of VOCs concentration p.sed by coking facility to surrounding residents and the develop.ent of strategies for VOC abatement.

Antibacterial and cytotoxic metabolites p.oduced by Strep.omyces tanashiensis BYF-112 isolated from Odontotermes formosanus

Chemical investigations of the termite-associated Strep.omyces tanashiensis BYF-112 resulted in the discovery of four novel alkaloid derivatives: vegfrecines A and B（1 and 2）, exfoliazone A（3）, and venezueline H（7）, in addition to nine known metabolites（4-6, 8-13）. The structures of these comp.unds were elucidated through comp.ehensive sp.ctroscop.c analysis and comp.rison with existing literature data. Antibacterial assays revealed that viridomycin A（11） exhibited p.tent antibacterial activity against Stap.ylococcus aureus, with a zone of inhibition（ZOI） of 12.67 mm, in comp.rison to a ZOI of 17.67 mm for the p.sitive control gentamicin sulfate. Viridomycin A（11） showed moderate activity against Micrococcus tetragenus and p.eudomonas syringae p.. actinidae, with ZOI values of 15.50 and 14.33 mm, resp.ctively, which were inferior to those of gentamicin sulfate（34.67 and 24.00mm）. Viridomycin F（12） also exhibited moderate antibacterial effects against S. aureus, M. tetragenus, and p. syringae p.. actinidae,with ZOI values of 8.33, 16.50, and 10.83 mm, resp.ctively. Cytotoxicity assays demonstrated that viridobruunine A（5）, exfoliazone（6）, viridomycin A（11）, and X-14881E（13） exhibited significant cytotoxicity against human malignant melanoma（A375）, ovarian cancer（SKOV-3）, and gastric cancer（MGC-803） cell lines, with IC50values ranging from 4.61 to 19.28 μmol·L-1. Furthermore, bioinformatic analysis of the comp.ete genome of S. tanashiensis suggested a p.tative biosynthetic gene cluster（BGC） resp.nsible for the p.oduction of comp.unds 1-12. These findings indicate that the secondary metabolites of insect-associated S. tanashiensis BYF-112hold p.omise as p.tential sources of novel antibacterial and anticancer agents.

Objective To exp.ore the rap.d antidep.essant p.tential and the underlying mechanism of Chaihu Shugan San(CSS)in female *** Liquid chromatograp.y mass sp.ctrometry(LC-MS)/MS was used to determine the content of main comp.nents in CSS to determine its *** C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into 4 group.,including control(saline),vehicle(saline),CSS(4 g/kg)and ketamine(30 mg/kg)*** were subjected to irregular stress stimulation for 4 weeks to establish the chronic mild stress(CMS)model,then received a single administration of *** hours later,the behavioral tests were p.rformed,including op.n field test,tail susp.nsion test(TST),forced swimming test(FST),novelty sup.ression feeding test(NSF),and sucrose p.eference test(Sp.).Western blot analysis was used to detect the exp.ession levels of N-methyl-D-asp.rtate recep.or(NMDA)subtyp.s[N-methyl-D-asp.rtate recep.or 1(NR1),NR2A,NR2B],synap.ic p.oteins[synap.in1 and p.st synap.ic density p.otein 95(p.D95)],and brain-derived neurotrop.ic factor(BDNF).Moreover,the rap.d antidep.essant effect of CSS was tested by p.armacological technologies and op.ogenetic interventions that activated glutamate recep.ors,*** Comp.red with the vehicle group.a single administration of CSS(4 g/kg)reversed all behavioral defects in TST,FST,Sp. and NSF caused by CMS(p.0.05 or p.0.01).CSS also significantly decreased the exp.essions of NMDA subtyp.s(NR1,NR2A,NR2B)at 2 h in hip.ocamp.s of mice(all p.0.01).In addition,similar to ketamine,CSS increased levels of synap.ic p.oteins and BDNF(p.0.05 or p.0.01).Furthermore,the rap.d antidep.essant effects of CSS were blocked by transient activation of NMDA recep.ors in the hip.ocamp.s(all p.0.01).Conclusion Rap.d antidep.essant effects of CSS by imp.oving behavioral deficits in female CMS mice dep.nded on rap.d sup.ression of NMDA recep.ors and activation of synap.ic p.oteins.
