The virtual private cloud service currently lacks a real-time end-to-end consistency validation mechanism, which prevents tenants from receiving immediate feedback on their requests. Existing solutions consume excessive communication and computational resources in such large-scale cloud environments, and suffer from poor timeliness. To address these issues, we propose a lightweight consistency validation mechanism that includes real-time incremental validation and periodic full-scale validation. The former leverages message layer aggregation to enable tenants to swiftly determine the success of their requests on hosts with minimal communication overhead. The latter utilizes lightweight validation checksums to compare the expected and actual states of hosts locally, while efficiently managing the checksums of various host entries using inverted indexing. This approach enables us to efficiently validate the complete local configurations within the limited memory of hosts. In summary, our proposed mechanism achieves closed-loop implementation for new requests and ensures their long-term effectiveness.

In recent years, Software-Defined Networks （SDNs） have become a promising technology to improve network utilization. However, limited flow table size and long deployment delays may result in low network performance in large-scale networks and a poor user experience. While a typical solution to this issue is routing aggregation （i.e., wildcard routing）, the aggregation feasibility problem and reduced network performance may be encountered. To address this dilemma, we first design a novel wildcard routing scheme, called the Tag-based Rule Placement Scheme （TRPS）. We then formulate a Hybrid Routing by Joint optimization of Per-flow routing and Tag- based routing （HR-JPT） problem, and prove its NP-hardness. An algorithm with a bounded approximation factor is designed for this problem, and the proposed methods are implemented on a Mininet platform. Extensive simulation results show that our methods are efficient for wildcard/hybrid routing. For example, our proposed tag-based wildcard rule placement scheme can reduce the number of required rules by about 65% on average compared with previous wildcard routing methods. Our proposed hybrid routing algorithm can increase network throughput by about 43% compared with existing hybrid routing solutions.

We present a quantum secret sharing scheme between multiparty (m members in Group 1) and multiparty (n members in Group 2), and analyze its security. This scheme takes EPR pairs in Bell states as quantum resources. In order to obtain the shared key, all members only need to perform Bell measurements, rather than perform any local unitary operation. The total efficiency in this scheme approaches 100% as the classical information exchanged is not necessary except for the eavesdropping checks.

We present an efficient controlled quantum perfect teleportation scheme. In our scheme, multiple senders can teleport multiple arbitrary unknown multi-qubit states to a single receiver via a previously shared entanglement state with the help of one or more controllers. Furthermore, our scheme has a very good performance in the measurement and operation complexity, since it only needs to perform Bell state and single-particle measurements and to apply Controlled-Not gate and other single-particle unitary operations. In addition, compared with traditional schemes, our scheme needs less qubits as the quantum resources and exchanges less classical information, and thus obtains higher communication efficiency.

A Double Auction Mechanism for Heterogeneous Multi-unit Spectrum Trading

The last decade has witnessed a rapid growth in wireless communications technology, and as a result the demand for spectrum resources increased ***, many new wireless demanders cannot access the limited wireless licenses in time while large chunks of spectrum are idle. To solve this, we design a multiunit double auction mechanism for heterogeneous spectrum channels, which take the spatial and temporal reuse into consideration. The proposed scheme first introduces the multi-participants multi-heterogeneous-spectrum trading double auction to illustrate the system model. Some techniques such as spectrum categorize, virtual sellers and buyers’ conflict graph construction, and reconstruction of buyer groups are adopted to achieve a high efficiency of the algorithm. Then, we also prove the truthfulness, individual rationality, and budget balance of the proposed scheme. Finally, the simulation results show that the practical performance of the proposed scheme can efficiently improve the spectrum transaction ratio, reuse ratio, and the buyer’s satisfactory ratio.

Resource allocation is an important problem in ubiquitous network. Most of the existing resource allocation methods considering only wireless networks are not suitable for the ubiquitous network environment, and they will harm the interest of individual users with instable resource requirements. This paper considers the multi-point video surveillance scenarios in a complex network environment with both wired and wireless networks. We introduce the utility estimated by the total costs of an individual network user. The problem is studied through mathematical modeling and we propose an improved problem-specific branch-and-cut algorithm to solve it. The algorithm follows the divide-and-conquer principle and fully considers the duality feature of network selection. The experiment is conducted by simulation through C and Lingo. And it shows that compared with a centralized random allocation scheme and a cost greed allocation scheme, the proposed scheme has better per- formance of reducing the total costs by 13.0% and 30.6% respectively for the user.

This paper proposes a multi-axis projection （MAP） based giant component formation strategy via the Maximal Independent Set （MIS） in a random unit-disk graph. We focus on the problem of virtual backbone construction in wireless ad hoc and sensor networks, where the coverage areas of the nodes are disks with identical radii. In the simulation, we show that the MAP-based giant component has the ability to connect most nodes and serves as a backbone in the network. The algorithm is localized and may play an important role in efficiently constructing a virtual backbone for ad hoc and sensor networks.

In this paper, the problem of discovering association rules between items in a large database of sales transactions is discussed, and a novel algorithm, BitMatrix, is proposed. The proposed algorithm is fundamentally different from the known algorithms Apriori and AprioriTid. Empirical evaluation shows that the algorithm outperforms the known ones for large databases. Scale-up experiments show that the algorithm scales linearly with the number of transactions.

容迟网络泛指那些由于节点移动、能量管理、调度等原因而出现频繁中断、甚至长时间处于中断状态的一类网络.它涵盖了由于节点调度而处于间歇式连通的无线传感网络、移动Ad hoc网络、周期性连通的卫星网络、乡村网络、野生动物追踪网络以及个人设备交换网络等等,具有十分广阔的应用前景,引起了广泛的关注.与传统网络相比,容迟网络没有稳定的端到端传输路径,因而其路由问题更为复杂.已有的研究工作也主要集中于这一问题,并提出了许多的容迟网络路由算法.对这些算法的最新进展进行了综述.首先,介绍了容迟网络路由算法的性能评价标准.其次,给出了容迟网络路由算法的分类方法.按照路由策略来分,容迟网络路由算法可以分为基于复制策略的算法和基于转发策略的算法.按照网络模型来分,容迟网络路由算法又可以分为面向主动移动模型的算法和面向被动移动模型的算法.然后,针对每一分类,重点综述了其中具有代表性的一些容迟网络路由算法,并总结了各算法的优缺点.最后,讨论了未来的研究方向.
