Stable multi-electron reaction stimulated by W doping VS_(4)for enhancing magnesium storage performance

Rechargeable magnesium batteries(RMBs)hold promise for offering higher volumetric energy density and safety features,attracting increasing research interest as the next post lithium-ion *** high performance cathode material by inducing multi-electron reaction process as well as maintaining structural stability is the key to the development and application of ***,multielectron reaction occurred in VS_(4)by simple W doping strategy.W doping induces valence of partial V as V^(2+)and V^(3+)in VS_(4)structure,and then stimulates electrochemical reaction involving multi-electrons in 0.5%*** flower-like microsphere morphology as well as rich S vacancies is also modulated by W doping to neutralize structure change in such multi-electron reaction *** fabricated 0.5%W-V-S delivers higher specific capacity(149.3 m A h g^(-1)at 50 m A g^(-1),which is 1.6 times higher than that of VS_(4)),superior rate capability(76 mA h g^(-1)at 1000 mA g^(-1)),and stable cycling performance(1500cycles with capacity retention ratio of 93.8%).Besides that,pesudocapaticance-like contribution analysis as well as galvanostatic intermittent titration technique(GITT)further confirms the enhanced Mg^(2+)storage kinetics during such multi-electron involved electrochemical reaction *** discovery provides new insights into the designing of multi-electron reaction process in cathode as well as neutralizing structural change during such reaction for realizing superior electrochemical performance in energy storage devices.

Steering the directional carrier migration across the interface is a central mission for efficient photocatalytic *** this work,an atomic-shared heterointerface is constructed between the defect-rich ZnIn_(2)S_(4)(HVs-ZIS)and CoIn_(2)S_(4)(CIS)via a defect-guided heteroepitaxial growth *** strong interface coupling induces adequate carriers exchanging passageway between HVs-ZIS and CIS,enhancing the internal electric field(IEF)in the ZnIn_(2)S_(4)/CoIn_(2)S_(4)(HVs-ZIS/CIS)*** defect structure in HVs-ZIS induces an additional defect level,improving the separation efficiency of ***,promoted by the IEF and intimate heterointerface,photogenerated electrons trapped by the defect level can migrate to the valence band of CIS,contributing to massive photogenerated electrons with intense reducibility in HVs-ZIS/***,the HVs-ZIS/CIS heterostructure performs a boosted H_(2)evolution activity of 33.65 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1).This work highlights the synergistic effects of defect and strong interface coupling in regulating carrier transfer and paves a brave avenue for constructing efficient heterostructure photocatalysts.

Metabolomics signature of blood pressure salt sensitivity and its link to cardiovascular disease:A dietary salt-intervention trial

Individuals with a high degree of salt sensitivity(SS)have a greater risk of cardiovascular disease(CVD),but whether SS fosters CVD by influencing metabolomics homeostasis remains *** study aimed to reveal the role of the SS-related metabolomics signature in the development of CVDs,based on the MetaSalt study,which was a dietary salt-intervention trial conducted at four centers in China in 2019.A total of 528 participants were recruited and underwent 3 days of baseline observations,a 10-day low-salt intervention,and a 10-day highsalt *** untargeted metabolomics,lipidomics,and BP measurements were scheduled at each *** were grouped into extreme SS,moderate SS,and salt-resistant(SR)individuals according to their BP responses to *** mixed models were used to identify SS-related metabolites and determine the relationship between the SS-related metabolomics signature and arterial *** randomization(MR)analyses were applied to establish the causal pathways among the SS-related metabolites,BP,and *** the 713 metabolites,467 were significantly changed after the high-salt *** them,the changes in 30 metabolites from the low-salt to the high-salt intervention differed among the SS *** the remaining nonsalt-related metabolites,the baseline levels of 11 metabolites were related to *** 41 metabolites explained 23%of the variance in ***,SS and its metabolomics signature were positively correlated with arterial *** analyses demonstrated that the SS-related metabolites may affect CVD risk by altering BP,indicating that the increase in BP was the consequence of the changes in SS-related metabolites rather than the *** study revealed that the metabolomics signature of SS individuals differs from that of SR individuals and that the changes in SS-related metabolites may increase arterial stiffness and foster *** study provides insight into understanding the biolog

Preparation of multicolor carbon dots with thermally turn-on fluorescence for multidimensional information encryption

Carbon dots(CDs)with superior fluorescence properties have attracted a growing number of research interests in ***,the preparation of CDs with thermally turn-on fluorescence and full-color-emitting in visible spectrum is still a big challenge due to the complicated reaction mechanism in the formation of ***,a simple precursor-oriented strategy for the preparation of multicolor CDs with heat-stimuli turn-on fluorescence is *** experimental characterizations and theoretical calculations revealed that the emission wavelength of CDs can be readily tuned from 460 nm to 654 nm with selected precursors,which was ascribed to the extent of conjugated sp2-domains(core states)and the amount of oxygen-and nitrogen-containing groups bound to sp2-domains(surface states).After simply mixing two or three kinds of CDs,a full-color range of fluorescence emission was realized,and the CDs-based fluorescence inks were successfully ***,all the printed patterns from the inkjet exhibited a thermal-induced enhancement in *** this basis,combining CDs with heating-induced“turn-off”fluorescence materials can lead to multidimensional and multistage *** results demonstrate that the thermochromic and photochromic CDs with much more enhanced security exhibit promising application in data storage and encryption.

Background: Despite the adverse effects of ambient fine particulate matter (PM_(2.5) ) on type 2 diabetes and the beneficial role of physical activity (PA), the influence of PM_(2.5) on the relationship between PA and type 2 diabetes remains ***: In this prospective study with 71,689 participants, PA was assessed by a questionnaire and was categorized into quartiles for volume and three groups for intensity. Long-term PM_(2.5) exposure was calculated using 1-km resolution satellite-based PM_(2.5) estimates. PM_(2.5) exposure and PA's effect on type 2 diabetes were assessed by cohort-stratified Cox proportional hazards models, individually and in ***: In 488,166 person-years of follow-up, 5487 incident type 2 diabetes cases were observed. The association between PA and type 2 diabetes was modified by PM_(2.5) . Compared with the lowest quartile of PA volume, the highest quartile was associated with reduced type 2 diabetes risk in low PM_(2.5) stratification (≤65.02 μg/m^(3)) other than in high PM_(2.5) stratification (>65.02 μg/m^(3)), with the hazard ratio (HR) of 0.75 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.66-0.85) and 1.10 (95% CI: 0.99-1.22), respectively. Similar results were observed for PA intensity. High PM_(2.5) exposure combined with the highest PA levels increased the risk of type 2 diabetes the most (HR= 1.79, 95% CI: 1.59-2.01 for PA volume;HR = 1.82, 95% CI: 1.64-2.02 for PA intensity).Conclusion: PA could reduce type 2 diabetes risk in low-pollution areas, but high PM_(2.5) exposure may weaken or even reverse the protective effects of PA. Safety and health benefits of PA should be thoroughly assessed for long-term polluted residents.

基于冲蚀-动网格耦合的混流式水轮机泥沙磨损演化特性研究

含沙水流条件下,水轮机内泥沙颗粒与湍流两相介质相互作用时,泥沙冲蚀动态过程会磨损水轮机过流部件壁面,进而影响水轮机水力性能及运行安全。采用离散相模型(Discrete Phase Model,DPM)中的冲蚀-动网格耦合模型,该文数值模拟了混流式水轮机全流道泥沙颗粒冲蚀磨损演化过程,对比了单相及固液两相流工况下的湍流场特性,分析了不同泥沙质量流率与泥沙颗粒形状对于导水机构与转轮的磨损部位、冲蚀变形量以及磨损率随冲蚀时间变化的影响。结果表明:泥沙注入后,尾水管内整体流态有所改善,湍流紊乱程度被明显削弱,相比于清水工况,注入泥沙可减小84%~90%转轮湍动能;座环鼻端及临近固定导叶前缘的上下两端出现的蚀痕以变形磨损为主,活动导叶迎水面头部发生切削磨损,转轮叶片进水边靠近下环处则呈现出明显的冲蚀磨损;活动导叶冲蚀变形量大于固定导叶,转轮叶片工作面磨损率显著高于背面;泥沙质量流率增加,导叶和转轮叶片的冲蚀变形量与磨损率成倍增大,磨损率表现出脉动特性;活动导叶和转轮叶片工作面冲蚀24h后,非球形颗粒冲蚀变形量均大于球形颗粒。该研究可为多泥沙河流中水力机组的维护检修和安全稳定运行提供理论依据和参考。

为实现对桥梁基桩承载力的检测,本研究引入高应变法,并对某桥梁建设项目中的基桩进行承载力检测。在明确了桥梁建设项目的基本概况后,选择重锤、荷载箱、基桩静载仪、基桩高应变承载力检测仪器等设备。利用高应变法,提出改进高应变法的桥梁基桩承载力检测方法。经过检测,发现该桥梁建设项目的承载力特征值均超过了设计承载力特征值。同时,通过检测得到的极限承载力数值结果将可作为该桥梁建设项目承载力验收的依据。
