Raman spectra evidence for the covalent-like quasi-bonding between exfoliated MoS2 and Au films

Gold-enhanced mechanical exfoliation method attracts broad interests in recent years, which has been widely used for preparing large-area and high-quality 2D single crystals. Even many calculations predict that there is strong interaction between Au film and the exfoliated 2D crystals, direct experimental evidence is still lacking. Here, we perform Raman spectroscopy measurements for few layer MoSwith and without Au film underneath. The main peaks of MoSon Au film show no obvious change at higher frequency,however, the breathing and shear modes at low-frequency are suppressed, especially for breathing *** contrast, both breathing modes and shear modes can be detected on suspended MoSand the samples are transferred from Au film to SiO/Si. These comparison results provide direct evidence for the existence of covalent-like quasi-bonding at the interface of Au film and the exfoliated MoScrystal. This MoS/Au interface interaction presents a special pinning-effect for low-frequency rigid vibration. Similar pinning-effect is also discovered in WS/Au system. Our work reports the suppression of low-frequency Raman modes of MoS, WSon Au film, which will deliver new inspiration for studying other interactions between layered materials and solid surfaces.

Migration-Prevention Strategy to Fabricate Single-Atom Fe Implanted N-Doped Porous Carbons for Efficient Oxygen Reduction

It is highly desired but challenging to achieve highly active single-atom Fe sites from iron-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)for efcient oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)due to the easy aggregation of iron species and formation of the inactive Fe-based particles during ***,a facile migration-prevention strategy is developed involving the incorporation of polyaniline(PANI)into the pores of iron porphyrinic-based MOF PCN-224(Fe)and followed by pyrolysis to obtain the single-atom Fe implanted N-doped porous carbons material PANI@PCN-224(Fe)-*** introduced PANI inside the pores of PCN-224(Fe)not only served as protective fences to prevent the aggregation of the iron species during thermal annealing,but also acted as nitrogen sources to increase the nitrogen content and form Fe-Nx-C active *** with the pristine PCN-224(Fe)derived carbonization sample containing Fe-based particles,the carbonaceous material PANI@PCN-224(Fe)-900 without inactive Fe-based particles exhibited superb ORR electrocatalytic activity with a more positive half-wave potential,signifcantly improved stability in both alkaline media,and more challenging acidic *** migration-prevention strategy provides a new way to fabricate atomically dispersed metal active sites via pyrolysis approach for promoting catalysis.

External calibrator in global signal experiment for detection of the epoch of reionization

We present a conceptual design study of external calibrators in the 21 cm experiment towards detecting the globally averaged radiation of the epoch of reionization(EoR).Employment of external calibrator instead of internal calibrator commonly used in current EoR experiments allows removing instrumental effects such as beam pattern,receiver gain and instability of the system if the conventional three-position switch measurements are implemented in a short time ***,in the new design the antenna system is placed in an underground anechoic chamber with an open/closing ceiling to maximally reduce the environmental effect such as RFI and ground radiation/*** appears that three of the four external calibrators proposed in this paper,including two indoor artificial transmitters and one outdoor celestial radiation(the Galactic polarization),fail to meet our *** motion of the Galactic diffuse emission turns out to be the most probable source as an external calibrator,for which we have discussed the observational strategy and the algorithm of extracting the EoR signal.

Quasars in the Galactic Anti-Center Area from LAMOST DR3

Abstract We present a sample of quasars discovered in an area near the Galactic Anti-Center covering 150°≤l≤ 210° and ｜b｜ ≤ 30°, based on LAMOST Data Release 3 （DR3）. This sample contains 151 spectroscopically confirmed quasars. Among them 80 are newly discovered with LAMOST. All these quasars are very bright, with i magnitudes peaking around 17.5 mag. All the new quasars were discovered serendipitously from objects that were originally targeted with LAMOST as stars having bluer colors, except for a few candidates targeted as variable, young stellar objects. This bright quasar sample at low Galactic latitudes will help fill the gap in the spatial distribution of known quasars near the Galactic disk that are used to construct an astrometric reference frame for the purpose of accurate proper motion measurements that can be applied to, for example, Gala. They are also excellent tracers to probe the kinematics and chemistry of the interstellar medium in the Milky Way disk and halo via absorption line spectroscopy.

Analysis with diallel, design Ⅱand molecular markers revealed that most of the inbred lines used in maize (Zea mays L.) breeding program in china can be classified into 3 groups or 6 sub-groups. The first group is domestic germplasm named as Dom, and consists of Sipingtou and Luda Red Cob sub-groups. The second group Reid germplasm consists of BSSS and PA. The third group is non-Reid germplasm consisting of Lancaster (Lan) and PB. The predominant heterotic patterns can be summarized as Dom×Lan and Dom×Reid. Breeders tend to produce combinations between local germplasm and exotics. All the patterns can be summarized as domestics×exotics, and are usually of dent×flint model.

Comparison of Differentially Expressed Genes Involved in Drought Response between Two Elite Rice Varieties

Dear Editor, Drought is the most devastating factor limiting the pro- ductivity and geographical distribution of rice （Oryza sativa）. Several drought-tolerant varieties have been developed from drought-tolerant germplasm. These varieties make it imper- ative to clarity the mechanism of drought responses at the genomic level, which will provide a foundation for future breeding and genetic engineering efforts （Zhou et al., 2007）. Yangdao6 （YD6） was used to breed many elite varieties in china, which was developed from Yangdao2 （YD2） through a series of crosses （Supplemental Figure 1）. Here, we veri- fied that YD6 seedlings showed better drought tolerance than YD2, Yangdao4 （YD4）, and 3021 seedlings （Figure 1A）. After drought treatment for 8 d, over 81.9% of YD2 plants were rolled, which is about three times that of YD6 plants. Recovering normal growth with water, the survival rates of YD6 and YD2 seedlings were 92.2% and 65.6%, respectively.

目的分析中国儿童青少年经常消费的7类预包装零食的钠含量,为儿童及家长选择健康的零食提供依据。方法采用食先知中国2017—2020年食品数据,根据英国红绿灯标准评估7类预包装零食钠含量处于低(绿灯)、中(黄灯)、高(红灯)水平的比例。计算每份零食的钠含量及其占4~6岁、7~10岁和≥11岁人群每日推荐钠摄入量的百分比。结果 7类预包装零食共计35 498个,每100 g零食中钠含量中位数从高到低依次为植物蛋白质食物(1125 mg)、即食肉和水产制品(1100 mg)、膨化食品(523 mg)、坚果和籽类(292 mg)、烘焙制品(222 mg)、乳及乳制品(65 mg)及即食果蔬制品(44 mg)。钠含量属于绿灯、黄灯和红灯水平的零食分别占30.2%、37.7%和32.1%。每份零食钠含量占11岁及以上儿童青少年每日推荐钠摄入量的比例较高的前3位分别是植物蛋白质食品(28.1%)、即食肉和水产制品(16.5%)和膨化食品(10.5%)。结论儿童青少年经常消费的7类预包装零食的钠含量存在较大差异,钠含量最高的3类零食分别是植物蛋白质零食、即食肉和水产制品及膨化食品。社会各方有必要采取措施引导儿童和家庭选择健康零食。

Tuning magnetic anisotropy by interfacial engineering in La2/3Sr1/3Co1-xMnxO2.5+δ/La2/3Sr1/3MnO3/La2/3Sr1/3Co1-xMnxO2.5+δ trilayers

Grouping different oxide materials with coupled charge, spin, and orbital degrees of freedom together to form heterostructures provides a rich playground to explore the emergent interfacial phenomena. The perovskite/brownmillerite heterostructure is particularly interesting since symmetry mismatch may produce considerable interface reconstruction and unexpected physical effects. Here, we systemically study the magnetic anisotropy of tensely strained La2/3Sr1/3Co1-xMnxO2.5+δ/La2/3Sr1/3MnO3/La2/3Sr1/3Co1-xMnxO2.5+δ trilayers with interface structures changing from perovskite/brownmillerite type to perovskite/perovskite type. Without Mn doping, the initial La2/3Sr1/3CoO2.5+δ/La2/3Sr1/3MnO3/La2/3Sr1/3CoO2.5+δ trilayer with perovskite/brownmillerite interface type exhibits perpendicular magnetic anisotropy and the maximal anisotropy constant is 3.385×106 erg/cm3, which is more than one orders of magnitude larger than that of same strained LSMO film. By increasing the Mn doping concentration, the anisotropy constant displays monotonic reduction and even changes from perpendicular magnetic anisotropy to in-plane magnetic anisotropy, which is possible because of the reduced CoO4 tetrahedra concentration in the La2/3Sr1/3Co1-xMnxO2.5+δ layers near the interface. Based on the analysis of the x-ray linear dichroism, the orbital reconstruction of Mn ions occurs at the interface of the trilayers and thus results in the controllable magnetic anisotropy.
