Lit.ium-ion capacit.rs(LICs) of achieving high power and energy densit. have garnered significant.at.ent.on. However, t.e kinet.cs unbalance bet.een anode and cat.ode can impede t.e applicat.on of LICs. Vanadium nit.ide(VN) wit. a high t.eoret.cal specific capacit.(~ 1200 m Ah·g^(-1)) is a bet.er pseudocapacit.ve anode t. mat.h t.e response of cat.ode in LICs. However, t.e insert.on/ex.ract.on of Li-ions in VN's operat.on result. in significant.volume ex.ansion. Herein, t.e VN/N-r GO-5composit. t.at.t.ree-diment.onal(3D) dicyandiamidederived-carbon(DDC) t.ght.y wrapped VN quant.m dot.(VN QDt.) on t.o-diment.onal(2D) reduced graphene ox.d(r GO) was prepared by a facile st.at.gy. t.e VN QDt. can reduce ion diffusion lengt. and improve charge t.ansfer kinet.cs. t.e 2D r GO as a t.mplat. provides support.for nanopart.cle dispersion and improves elect.ical conduct.vit.. t.e 3D DDC t.ght.y encapsulat.d wit. VN QDt. mit.gat.s agglomerat.on of VN part.cles as well as volume ex.ansion. Correspondingly, t.e LICs wit. VN/Nr GO-5 composit. as anode and act.vat.d carbon(AC) as cat.ode were fabricat.d, which ex.ibit. a high energy densit. and power densit.. Such st.at.gy provides a perspect.ve for improving t.e elect.ochemical propert.es of LIC anode mat.rials by suppressing volume ex.ansion and enhancing conduct.vit..
