The adsorption of pollutants can not only promote the direct surface reaction,but also modify the catalyst itself to improve its photoelectric characteristics,which is rarely studied for water treatment with inorganic photocatalyst.A highly crystalline BiOBr(c-BiOBr)was synthesized by a two-step preparation *** to the calcination,the highly crystalline enhanced the interface interaction between pollutant and *** complex of organic pollutant and[Bi_(2)O_(2)]^(2+)could promote the active electron transfer from the adsorbed pollutant to c-BiOBr for the direct pollutant degradation by holes(h^(+)).Moreover,the pollutant adsorption actually modified c-BiOBr and promoted more unpaired electrons,which would coupling with the photoexcitation to promote generate more O_(2)^(•-).The molecular modification effect derived from pollutant adsorption significantly improved the removal of *** work strongly deepens the understanding of the molecularmodification effect from the pollutant adsorption and develops a novel and efficient approach for water treatment.

Recycling Fe and improving organic pollutant removal via in situ forming magnetic core-shell Fe_(3)O_(4)@CaFe-LDH in Fe(Ⅱ)-catalyzed oxidative wastewater treatment

Due to its high efficiency,Fe(Ⅱ)-based catalytic oxidation has been one of the most popular types of technology for treating growing organic pollutants.A lot of chemical Fe sludge alongwith various refractory pollutantswas concomitantly produced,whichmay cause secondary environmental problemswithout proper *** here innovatively proposed an effective method of achieving zero Fe sludge,reusing Fe resources(Fe recovery=100%)and advancing organics removal(final TOC removal>70%)simultaneously,based on the in situ formation of magnetic Ca-Fe layered double hydroxide(Fe_(3)O_(4)@CaFe-LDH)***(Ca^(2+)and Fe^(3+))concentration(≥30 mmol/L)and their molar ratio(Ca:Fe≥1.75)were crucial to the success of the *** nano Fe_(3)O_(4)was designed to be involved in the Fe(Ⅱ)-catalytic wastewater treatment process,and was modified by oxidation intermediates/products(especially those with COO-structure),which promoted the co-precipitation of Ca^(2+)(originated from Ca(OH)_(2)added after oxidation process)and byproduced Fe^(3+)cations on its surface to in situ generate core-shell Fe_(3)O_(4)@*** oxidation products were further removed during Fe_(3)O_(4)@CaFe-LDH material formation via intercalation and *** applicable to many kinds of organicwastewater,such as bisphenol A,methyl orange,humics,and biogas *** prepared magnetic and hierarchical CaFe-LDH nanocomposite material showed comparable application performance to the recently reported *** work provides a new strategy for efficiently enhancing the efficiency and economy of Fe(Ⅱ)-catalyzed oxidative wastewater treatment by producing high value-added LDHs materials.

Online Fault-Tolerant Tracking Control With Adaptive Critic for Nonaffine Nonlinear Systems

In this paper, a fault-tolerant-based online critic learning algorithm is developed to solve the optimal tracking control issue for nonaffine nonlinear systems with actuator ***, a novel augmented plant is constructed by fusing the system state and the reference trajectory, which aims to transform the optimal fault-tolerant tracking control design with actuator faults into the optimal regulation problem of the conventional nonlinear error system. Subsequently, in order to ensure the normal execution of the online learning algorithm, a stability criterion condition is created to obtain an initial admissible tracking policy. Then, the constructed model neural network(NN) is pretrained to recognize the system dynamics and calculate trajectory control. The critic and action NNs are constructed to output the approximate cost function and approximate tracking control,respectively. The Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation of the error system is solved online through the action-critic framework. In theoretical analysis, it is proved that all concerned signals are uniformly ultimately bounded according to the Lyapunov *** tracking control law can approach the optimal tracking control within a finite approximation error. Finally, two experimental examples are conducted to indicate the effectiveness and superiority of the developed fault-tolerant tracking control scheme.

Spatial-temporal distribution and emission of urban scale air pollutants in Hefei based on Mobile-DOAS

As a significant city in the Yangtze River Delta regions,Hefei has experienced rapid changes in the sources of air pollution due to its high-speed economic development and urban ***,there has been limited research in recent years on the spatial-temporal distribution and emission of its atmospheric *** address this,this study conducted mobile observations of urban roads using the Mobile-DOAS instrument from June 2021 to May *** monitoring results exhibit a favourable consistent with TROPOMI satellite data and ground monitoring station ***,there were pronounced seasonal variations in air ***,high concentration of HCHO and NO_(2)were closely associated with traffic congestion on roadways,while heightened SO_(2)levels were attributed to winter heating and industrial *** study also revealed that with the implementation of road policies,the average vehicle speed increased by 95.4%,while the NO concentration decreased by 54.4%.In the estimation of urban NO_(x)emission flux,it was observed that in temporal terms,compared with inventory data,the emissions calculated viamobile measurements exhibitedmore distinct seasonal patterns,with the highest emission rate of 349 g/sec in winter and the lowest of 142 g/sec in *** spatial terms,the significant difference in emissions between the inner and outer ring roads also suggests the presence of the city’s primary NO_(x)emission sources in the area between these two *** study offers data support for formulating the next phase of air pollution control measures in urban areas.

Enhancing the concentration of exogenous molecular drugs within the tumor microenvironment through enzyme-catalyzed polymerization presents a novel strategy for cancer ***,the optimization of the catalytic efficiency is often impeded by the inefficient expression of ***,we reported a self-amplifying fluorescent molecular probe,Bis-HTPICG,for photodynamic therapy(PDT)and subsequent PDT-induced *** Bis-HTP-ICG probe possesses a noticeable enzyme-catalyzed polymerization facilitated by myeloperoxidase(MPO),a crucial enzyme secreted by neutrophils at inflammation *** exposure to laser irradiation,Bis-HTP-ICG showed a high PDT efficacy,inducing an acute inflammatory response that stimulates further recruitment of neutrophils and then elevated MPO *** heightened level of MPO enhances the accumulation of the Bis-HTP-ICG via self-polymerization or binding with intratumoral proteins following MPO enzyme catalysis,instigating a self-amplifying chain reaction cycle involving Bis-HTP-ICG,neutrophils and ***,PDT efficiently incites immunogenic cell death(ICD)in tumor cells,initiating an anti-tumor immune response including dendritic cells(DCs)maturation,T cell proliferation and reprogramming of tumor-associated neutrophils(TANs).This work portrays a promising strategy for self-amplification of fluorescent molecular probes through adjustable enzyme levels,potentially offering a unique avenue to enhance the tumor accumulation of molecular drugs for improved tumor therapy.

Construction of the porcine genome mobile element variations and investigation of its role in population diversity and gene expression

Background Mobile element variants(MEVs)have a significant and complex impact on genomic diversity and phe-notypic ***,the quantity,distribution,and relationship with gene expression and complex traits of MEVs in the pig genome remain poorly *** We constructed the most comprehensive porcine MEV library based on high-depth whole genome sequencing(WGS)data from 747 pigs across 59 breeds *** database identified a total of 147,993 poly-morphic MEVs,including 121,099 short interspersed nuclear elements(SINEs),26,053 long interspersed nuclear elements(LINEs),802 long terminal repeats(LTRs),and 39 other transposons,among which 54%are newly *** found that MEVs are unevenly distributed across the genome and are strongly influenced by negative selec-tion ***,we identified 514,530,and 584 candidate MEVs associated with population differentiation,domestication,and breed formation,*** example,a significantly differentiated MEV is located in the ATRX intron between Asian and European pigs,whereas ATRX is also differentially expressed between Asian and European pigs in muscle *** addition,we identified 4,169 expressed MEVs(eMEVs)significantly associated with gene expression and 6,914 splicing MEVs(sMEVs)associated with gene splicing based on RNA-seq data from 266 porcine liver *** eMEVs and sMEVs explain 6.24%and 9.47%,respectively,of the observed cis-heritability and high-light the important role of MEVs in the regulation of gene ***,we provide a high-quality SNP–MEV reference haplotype panel to impute MEV genotypes from genome-wide ***,we identified a candidate MEV significantly associated with total teat number,demonstrating the functionality of this reference *** The present investigation demonstrated the importance of MEVs in pigs in terms of population diversity,gene expression and phenotypic traits,which may provide useful resources and theoretic

Optimizing the ORR performance of PtMnM ternary intermetallics by tuning the surface strain

Identifying the descriptors that control catalytic performance is key to design catalysts with high activity and stability. As indirect descriptors related to catalytic activity, modulating the Pt-Pt interatomic distance and d-band center can effectively enhance the ORR activity. It is well recognized that the Pt-Pt interatomic distance is strongly correlated with the surface strain. Herein, PtMnM/C ternary intermetallics are constructed through partially replacing Mn in PtMn/C binary intermetallics with the other transition metal (M = Fe, Co, Ni, and Cu). The 3d-transition metal doping induces surface strain, and the ORR performance of PtMnM/C exhibits volcano relationship relative to both the Pt-Pt interatomic distance and d-band center. The PtMnCo/C with optimum strain exhibits the highest mass activity (1.06 A mgPt-1) at 0.9 V, which is 2.6 and 4.6 times higher than that of PtMn/C and commercial Pt/C catalysts, respectively. In addition, PtMnCo/C shows good durability with only 10 mV half-wave potential decay after 50,000 potential cycles.

准确测定混凝土孔隙率是混凝土材料研究中非常具有挑战性的课题。为了准确测定混凝土孔隙率,应用饱水法针对不同规格尺寸的混凝土试块开展孔隙率测定试验。首先通过配合比设计制作6组不同的颗粒级配试块,为了研究其尺寸形状效应,制作了100 mm×100 mm×100 mm的立方体、150 mm×150 mm×150 mm的立方体、φ50 mm×100 mm的圆柱体、φ100 mm×200 mm的圆柱体4种不同规格尺寸的试块进行试验。在此基础上,应用饱水法对4种尺寸形状的试块进行试验研究,得出尺寸形状效应对混凝土孔隙率测定影响的规律。最后,综合考虑力学试验、制作工艺等因素建议选用φ50 mm×100 mm圆柱体作为饱水法测定混凝土孔隙率的推荐尺寸。

A functional cathode sodium compensation agent for stable sodium-ion batteries

Hard carbon(HC)is widely used in sodium-ion batteries(SIBs),but its performance has always been limited by lowinitial Coulombic efficiency(ICE)and cycling *** compensation agent is a favorable strategy to make up for the loss of active sodium ions consumed *** it lacks agent that effectively decomposes to increase the active sodium ions as well as regulate carbon defects for decreasing the irreversible sodium ions ***,we propose 1,2-dihydroxybenzene Na salt(NaDB)as a cathode compensation agent with high specific capacity(347.9 mAh g^(-1)),lower desodiation potential(2.4–2.8 V)and high utilization(99%).Meanwhile,its byproduct could functionalize HC with more C=O groups and promote its reversible ***,the presodiation hard carbon(pHC)anode exhibits highly reversible capacity of 204.7 mAh g^(-1) with 98%retention at 5 C rate over 1000 ***,with 5 wt%NaDB initially coated on the Na3V2(PO4)3(NVP)cathode,the capacity retention of NVP + NaDB|HC cell could increase from 22%to 89%after 1000 cycles at 1 C *** work provides a new avenue to improve reversible capacity and cycling performance of SIBs through designing functional cathode compensation agent.
