In this paper, the problem of cubature Kalman fusion filtering(CKFF) is addressed for multi-sensor systems under amplify-and-forward(AaF) relays. For the purpose of facilitating data transmission, AaF relays are utilized to regulate signal communication between sensors and filters. Here, the randomly varying channel parameters are represented by a set of stochastic variables whose occurring probabilities are permitted to exhibit bounded uncertainty. Employing the spherical-radial cubature principle, a local filter under AaF relays is initially constructed. This construction ensures and minimizes an upper bound of the filtering error covariance by designing an appropriate filter gain. Subsequently, the local filters are fused through the application of the covariance intersection fusion rule. Furthermore, the uniform boundedness of the filtering error covariance's upper bound is investigated through establishing certain sufficient conditions. The effectiveness of the proposed CKFF scheme is ultimately validated via a simulation experiment concentrating on a three-phase induction machine.

Sunlight-induced Permanent Hair Dyeing

Hair coloring has emerged as an integral part of the cosmetic industry, particularly in response to the increasing global aging phenomenon. The natural melanin analog, polydopamine (PDA), has garnered considerable attention as an eco-friendly hair dye, and several kinds of polymerization ways of dopamine (DA) have been proposed including alkali catalysis, metal ion catalysis, strong oxidants, and enzyme-mediated oxidation reactions and polymerizations. Yet the controllability of polymerization and potential toxicity of involved metal ions are still in question. Inspired by the photoprotective mechanism in human skin, we have developed the melanin-inspired hair dyeing strategy that allowed for the in situ oxidative polymerization of DA under ultraviolet (UV) light. This polymerization was triggered by photobase generators (PBGs), a class of compounds that produced organic bases upon UV and sunlight irradiation. The resulting hair showed an adjustable color from light brown to black by tuning the ratio of DA and PBG (DA@PBG), the concentration of DA, and light exposure time. The dyed hairs showed excellent washing resistance and superior anti-static properties. Furthermore, Hair Color Spray DA@PBG also demonstrated a desirable hair dyeing effect and excellent biosecurity by simply spraying it on the hair under sunlight. This novel sunlight-induced method provided a new direction towards the preparation of natural hair dyes and could promote the development of green and safe hair dyes in colorful and brilliant artistic-grade hair coloring.

Intricate interplay between shear stress and extrusion temperature in Mg−Al composite rods

The Mg−Al composite rods of aluminum core-reinforced magnesium alloy were prepared by the extrusion−shear(ES)process,and the microstructure,deformation mechanism,and mechanical properties of the Mg−Al composite rods were investigated at different extrusion temperatures and shear *** experimental results show that the proportion of dynamic recrystallization(DRX)and texture for Al and Mg alloys are controlled by the combination of temperature and shear *** texture type of the Al alloys exhibits slight variations at different *** the increase of temperature,the DRX behavior of Mg alloy shifts from discontinuous DRX(DDRX),continuous DRX(CDRX),and twin-induced DRX(TDRX)dominant to CDRX,the dislocation density in Mg alloy grains decreases significantly,and the average value of Schmid factor(SF)of the basalslip system *** particular,partial grains exhibit a distinct dominant slip system at 390℃.The hardness and thickness of the bonding layer,as well as the yield strength and elongation of the Mg alloy,reach their maximum at 360℃as a result of the intricate influence of the combined temperature and shear stress.

Correlation between gut microbiota and tumor immune microenvironment:A bibliometric and visualized study

Realization of edge states along a synthetic orbital angular momentum dimension

Synthetic dimensions have emerged as promising methodologies for studying topological physics, offering great advantages in controllability and flexibility. Photonic orbital angular momentum(OAM), characterized by discrete yet unbounded properties, serves as a potent carrier for constructing synthetic dimensions. Despite the widespread utilization of synthetic OAM dimensions in the investigation of topological physics, the demonstration of an edge along such dimensions has remained challenging, significantly constraining the exploration of important topological edge effects. In this study, we establish an edge within a Floquet Su–Schrieffer–Heeger OAM lattice, creating approximate semi-infinite lattices by introducing a pinhole in the optical elements within a cavity. Leveraging the spectral detection capabilities of the cavity, we directly measure the phase transitions of zero(±π) energy edge states, elucidating the principle of bulk-edge correspondence. Furthermore, we dynamically observe the migration of edge modes from the gap to the bulk by varying the edge phase, and we reveal that interference near the surface results in the discretization of the spectrum. We offer, to our knowledge,a novel perspective for investigating edge effects and provide an important photonic toolbox in topological photonics.

选择3-甲基吡啶(3-MP)为模型污染物,构建了双室MFC,研究了其对含吡啶类污染物废水的处理性能及机理。经3-MP驯化后MFC阳极生物膜厚度达40μm,红假单胞菌属、戈登式菌属、水杆菌属、德沃斯氏菌属、金黄杆菌属、微杆菌属、细粒菌属、慢生根瘤菌属、申氏杆菌属、湖沉积杆菌属、假诺卡氏菌属等功能菌显著增加。MFC在64 h内可完全降解120 mg/L 3-MP。当3-MP质量浓度为30 mg/L时,48 h后C元素矿化率达69.4%,N元素主要转化为NH4+和NO3–。采用Haldane模型进行3-MP降解动力学分析,最大降解速率、半饱和常数、抑制常数、最大比降解速率分别为3.5 mg/(L·h)、59.9 mg/L、201.0 mg/L和0.58 mg/(L·h·cm^(2))。通过中间产物分析推测3-MP主要通过两条途径降解,一是吡啶环上甲基的氧化,二是中间体1,4-二氢-3-甲基吡啶的双键裂解。

FINITE ELEMENT APPROXIMATIONS OF SYMMETRIC TENSORS ON SIMPLICIAL GRIDS IN R^n： THE HIGHER ORDER CASE

The design of mixed finite element methods in linear elasticity with symmetric stress approximations has been a longstanding open problem until Arnold and Winther designed the first family of mixed finite elements where the discrete stress space is the space of H（div,Ω;S）-Pk＋1 tensors whose divergence is a Pk-1 polynomial on each triangle for k ≥ 2. Such a two dimensional family was extended, by Arnold, Awanou and Winther, to a three dimensional family of mixed elements where the discrete stress space is the space of H（div, Ω; S）-Pk＋2 tensors, whose divergence is a Pk-1 polynomial on each tetrahedron for k ≥ 2. In this paper, we are able to construct, in a unified fashion, mixed finite element methods with symmetric stress approximations on an arbitrary simplex in R^n for any space dimension. On the contrary, the discrete stress space here is the space of H（div,Ω; S）-Pk tensors, and the discrete displacement space here is the space of L^2（Ω; R^n）-Pk＋1 vectors for k ≥ n＋ 1. These finite element spaces are defined with respect to an arbitrary simplicial triangulation of the domain, and can be regarded as extensions to any dimension of those in two and three dimensions by hu and Zhang.
