口令认证秘密共享将口令认证和秘密共享相结合,是一个贴合实际用户需求的分布式方案。该协议允许一个用户在多个服务器间共享秘密,并且只需要记忆一个简短口令即可在后续同时完成身份验证以及秘密恢复。协议安全性保证只要敌手控制的服务器不超过阈值,敌手就不能从协议中窃取任何有关口令和秘密的信息。口令认证秘密共享方案最初基于离散对数及其变体的假设,不能抵抗量子攻击,因此找到量子安全的构造成为亟需解决的问题。ROY等人提出一种恶意安全且量子安全的构造,但其通信轮数并非最优,在有恶意敌手干扰的情况下,轮数甚至不再是常数。针对轮数优化问题,文章利用可验证不经意伪随机函数原语,给出了基于格的最优轮数的量子安全构造并严格证明了其安全性。此外,协议保证多数诚实服务器场景时,诚实用户一定能在最优轮数内成功恢复正确的秘密,具有很强的鲁棒性。

Complexity measures for keystream multisequences over Z/(N) play a crucial role in designing good stream cipher systems. This correspondence shows a general upper bound on k-error joint N-adic complexity of periodic multisequences over Z/(N), and establishes the existence of periodic N-adic multisequences over Z/(N) which simultaneously possess maximal joint N-adic complexity and large k-error joint N-adic complexity. Under some conditions the overwhelming majority of all T-periodic N-adic multisequences over Z/(N) with maximal joint N-adic complexity logN(NT- 1)have a k-error joint N-adic complexity close to logN(NT- 1).

Efficient Pairing Computation on Twisted Weierstrass Curves

In this paper, we construct the twists of twisted Edwards curves in Weierstrass form. Then we define a new twisted Ate pairing on twisted Weierstrass curves named the Tx-Ate pairing. Following Miller’s algorithm, we give a computation of the Tx-Ate pairing on high degree twisted Weierstrass curves, where the point operations are over Edwards form, and the computation of Miller function is over Weierstrass form. Although, in one doubling loop, our method to compute the Tx-Ate pairing is a litter slower than the previously fastest method.By twists, the Tx-Ate pairing can be calculated on more twisted Weierstrass curves with short loop length. The TxAte pairing is even competitive with optimal Ate pairing when they have the same short loop length.

The central dogma of modern biology underscores the pivotal roles proteins play in diverse biological processes,the study of which necessitates advanced methods to produce proteins with precision and versatility.Chemical protein synthesis,a powerful approach utilizing chemical reactions for the de novo construction of structurally accurate proteins,has emerged as a transformative tool for studying proteins and generating protein derivatives/mimics inaccessible by natural biological machinery,including post-translationally modified proteins,proteins comprised of unnatural amino acids,as well as mirror-image proteins.This review summarizes recent strides in synthetic method developments for chemical protein synthesis,including innovative techniques in solid-phase peptide synthesis,the challenges presented by difficult sequences in either synthesis or folding and the exploration of novel ligation reactions using both chemical and enzymatic methods.Furthermore,the review also delves into newly developed protocols for site-selective protein modifications and the generation of stapled or macrocyclized peptides/miniproteins,highlighting the power of chemical methods to make structurally diverse proteins.Recent applications of synthetic proteins in investigating post-translational modifications(phosphorylation,lipidation,glycosylation,ubiquitination,etc.),mirror-image biological processes and drug development are further discussed.Together,these topics provide a comprehensive overview of the current landscape of chemical protein synthesis.

Stapled peptides with significantly enhanced pharmacological profiles have emerged as promising therapeutic molecules due to their remarkable resistance to proteolysis and performance to penetrate cells.The all-hydrocarbon peptide stapling technique has already widely adopted with great success,yielding numerous potent peptide-based molecules.Based on our prior efforts,we conceived and prepared a double-stapled peptide in this study,termed FRNC-1,which effectively attenuated the bone resorption capacity of mature osteoclasts in vitro through specific inhibition of phosphorylated GSK-3β.The double-stapled peptide FRNC-1 displayed notably improved helical contents and resistance to proteolysis than its linear form.Additionally,FRNC-1 effectively prevented osteoclast activation and improved bone density for ovariectomized(OVX)mice after intravenous injection and importantly,after oral(intragastric)administration.The double-stapled peptide FRNC-1 is the first orally effective peptide that has been validated to date as a therapeutic candidate for postmenopausal osteoporosis(PMOP).

Self-assembly is a process capitalized by nature for converting chemically simple building blocks into hierarchically ordered structures and materials to function in living systems cooperatively.1 Among all the building blocks,proteins are the most commonly utilized and form diverse structures ranging from oligomers and nanospheres to tubes and hierarchical architectures.2 These structures with unique physical properties play crucial roles in vast biological functions,for instance,structural support,cargo transport,and microbial defence.3 The formation of these structures is predominantly driven and governed by non-covalent interactions,conferring the dynamism and flexibility of these structures.By studying the fundamental principles that control the self-assembly processes of native proteins,functional materials can be replicated in a bottom-up approach.

建立了采用气相色谱-串联三重四极杆质谱(GC-MS/MS)测定医疗器械用聚氨酯(TPU)材料中1,4-丁二醇(BDO)残留量的方法。样品采用混合溶剂极限浸提后,以VF-WAXms毛细管柱色谱柱(30 m×0.25 mm×0.25μm)为分析柱,以EI电离源的三重四极杆质谱在选择离子检测扫描模式(SIM模式)下测定,外标法定量。结果表明,该方法在5μg/mL~100μg/mL浓度范围内线性关系良好(R≥0.9995),检出限为0.10μg/kg(S/N=3);在3个加标水平下的平均回收率为99.79%~103.61%(n=6),相对标准偏差为1.23%~3.45%。该法能够为医疗器械用聚氨酯(TPU)材料中BDO残留量的测定提供技术支持。

Generalized cryptanalysis of RSA with small public exponent

In this paper, we demonstrate that there exist weak keys in the RSA public-key cryptosystem with the public exponent e = N;N;. In 1999, Boneh and Durfee showed that when α≈ 1 and the private exponent d = N;< N;, the system is insecure. Moreover, their attack is still effective for 0.5 < α < 1.875.We propose a generalized cryptanalytic method to attack the RSA cryptosystem with α≤0.5. For c = [（1-α）/α] and e;≡ d（mod e;）, when γ, β satisfy γ < 1+1/c-1/（2αc） and β < αc +7/6- αγc-1/3（6α + 6αc + 1- 6αγc）;, we can perform cryptanalytic attacks based on the LLL algorithm. The basic idea is an application of Coppersmith’s techniques and we further adapt the technique of unravelled linearization, which leads to an optimized lattice.Our advantage is that we achieve new attacks on RSA with α 0.5 and consequently, there exist weak keys in RSA for most α.
