This study examines the wave propagation characteristics for a bi-directional functional grading of barium titanate(BaTiO_(3)) and cobalt ferrite(CoFe_(2)O_(4)) porous nanoshells,the porosity distribution of which is simulated by the honeycomb-shaped symmetrical and asymmetrical distribution *** nonlocal strain gradient theory(NSGT) and first-order shear deformation theory are used to determine the size effect and shear deformation,*** governing equations are derived for the nanoshells by Hamilton's *** resulting dimensionless differential equations are solved by means of an analytical solution of the combined exponential function after dimensionless ***,extensive parametric surveys are conducted to investigate the influence of diverse parameters,such as dimensionless scale parameters,radiusto-thickness ratios,bi-directional functionally graded(FG) indices,porosity coefficients,and dimensionless electromagnetic potentials on the wave propagation *** on the analysis results,the effect of the dimensionless scale parameters on the dispersion relationship is found to be related to the ratio of the scale *** wave propagation characteristics of nanoshells in the presence of a magnetoelectric field depend on the bi-directional FG indices.

Flash boiling atomization(FBA)is a promising approach for enhancing spray atomization,which can generate a fine and more evenly distributed spray by increasing the fuel injection temperature or reducing the ambient ***,when the outlet speed of the nozzle exceeds 400 m/s,investigating high-speed flash boiling atomization(HFBA)becomes quite *** difficulty arises fromthe involvement ofmany complex physical processes and the requirement for a very fine mesh in numerical *** this study,an HFBA model for gasoline direct injection(GDI)is *** model incorporates primary and secondary atomization,as well as vaporization and boilingmodels,to describe the development process of the flash boiling *** to lowspeed FBA,these physical processes significantly impact *** this model,the Eulerian description is utilized for modeling the gas,and the Lagrangian description is applied to model the droplets,which effectively captures the movement of the droplets and avoids excessive mesh in the Eulerian *** various conditions,numerical solutions of the Sauter mean diameter(SMD)for GDI show good agreement with experimental data,validating the proposed model’s *** based on this HFBA model investigate the influences of fuel injection temperature and ambient pressure on the atomization *** analyses of the velocity field,temperature field,vapor mass fraction distribution,particle size distribution,and spray penetration length under different superheat degrees reveal that high injection temperature or low ambient pressure significantly affects the formation of small and dispersed droplet *** effect is conducive to the refinement of spray particles and enhances atomization.

In this study,we present for the first time the application of physics-informed neural network(pINN)to fretting fatigue *** pINN has recently been applied to pure fatigue lifetime prediction,it has not yet been explored in the case of fretting *** propose a data-assisted pINN(DA-pINN)for predicting fretting fatigue crack initiation *** traditional pINN that solves partial differential equations for specific problems,DA-pINN combines experimental or numerical data with physics equations as part of the loss function to enhance prediction *** DA-pINN method,employed in this study,consists of two main ***,damage parameters are obtained from the finite element method by using critical plane method,which generates a data set used to train an artificial neural network(ANN)for predicting damage parameters in other ***,the predicted damage parameters are combined with the experimental parameters to form the input data set for the DA-pINN models,which predict fretting fatigue *** results demonstrate that DA-pINN outperforms ANN in terms of prediction accuracy and eliminates the need for high computational costs once the damage parameter data set is ***,the choice of loss-function methods in DA-pINN models plays a crucial role in determining its performance.

Dendrite growth is one of the main challenges in maintaining the service life of all-solid-state lithium-ion *** stress has been reported to significantly affect dendrite *** this study,to explain the effect of mechanical stress on electrochemical reactions in all-solid-state batteries,a modified phase-field model for dendrite growth is proposed by considering the stress-dependent *** growth under different mechanical loadings in an all-solid-state battery is investigated using the proposed *** with previous experimental results,the current result shows that compressive stress inhibits dendrite *** the stress concentration at the tips of processing-induced microcracks,the effects of the number and distribution of microcracks on dendrite growth are *** results show that the stress-concentration field induced at the tips of cracks or voids can change the morphology of dendrites and decrease their growth *** study provides a new perspective for explaining Li dendrite growth under mechanical stress and offers inspiration for prolonging the service life of all-solid-state batteries based on defect and stress regulation,which may be further realized in experiments by filling solid electrolytes with different types of nanofillers.

Based on the refined dynamic equation of stretching plates, the elastic tensio compression wave scattering and dynamic stress concentrations in the thick plate with two cutouts are studied. In view of the problem that the shear stress is automatically satisfied under the free boundary condition, the generalized stress of the first-order vanishing moment of shear stress is considered. The numerical results indicate that, as the cutout is thick, the maximum value of the dynamic stress factor obtained using the refined dynamic theory is 19% higher than that from the solution of plane stress problems of elastic dynamics.

The Circular Electron positron Collider(CEpC)is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by china,fostered through extensive collaboration with international *** complex comprises four accelerators:a 30 GeV Linac,a 1.1 GeV Damping ring,a booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV,and a Collider operating at varying energy modes(Z,W,H,and tt).The Linac and Damping ring are situated on the surface,while the subterranean booster and Collider are housed in a 100 km circumference underground tunnel,strategically accommodating future expansion with provisions for a potential Super proton proton Collider(SppC).The CEpC primarily serves as a Higgs *** its baseline design with synchrotron radiation(Sr)power of 30 MW per beam,it can achieve a luminosity of 5×10^(34)cm^(-2)s^(-1)per interaction point(Ip),resulting in an integrated luminosity of 13 ab^(-1)for two Ips over a decade,producing 2.6 million Higgs *** the Sr power to 50 MW per beam expands the CEpC's capability to generate 4.3 million Higgs bosons,facilitating precise measurements of Higgs coupling at sub-percent levels,exceeding the precision expected from the HL-LHC by an order of *** Technical Design report(TDr)follows the preliminary Conceptual Design report(pre-CDr,2015)and the Conceptual Design report(CDr,2018),comprehensively detailing the machine's layout,performance metrics,physical design and analysis,technical systems design,r&D and prototyping efforts,and associated civil engineering ***,it includes a cost estimate and a preliminary construction timeline,establishing a framework for forthcoming engineering design phase and site selection *** is anticipated to begin around 2027-2028,pending government approval,with an estimated duration of 8 *** commencement of experiments and data collection could potentially be initiated in the mid-2030s.

对于工程广泛存在的大展弦比结构,首次研究了大展弦比板弯扭耦合受迫振动响应.考虑弦向相对弯曲刚度远大于展向弯曲刚度,将弦向截面等效为刚体,考虑其绕展向轴线的扭转,应用Hamilton原理分别计算大展弦比板的势能与动能,建立两端简支的大展弦比板弯扭耦合受迫振动的动力学控制方程.将动力学控制方程进行Galerkin截断后,通过谐波平衡法和微分求积法/微分求积单元法,计算得到了大展弦比模型弯扭耦合受迫振动稳态响应的解析解及数值解,同时验证了解的截断收敛性及谐波收敛性.最后研究了外激励幅值对结构受迫振动响应的影响.结果将为工程中广泛存在的大展弦比结构设计提供指导.
