Ultra reliability and massive connectivity provision in integrated internet of military things(IoMT)based on tactical datalink

One of the major challenges arising in internet of military things(IoMT)is accommodating massive connectivity while providing guaranteed quality of service(QoS)in terms of ultra-high reliability.In this regard,this paper presents a class of code-domain nonorthogonal multiple accesses(NOMAs)for uplink ultra reliable networking of massive IoMT based on tactical datalink such as Link-16 and joint tactical information distribution system(JTIDS).In the considered scenario,a satellite equipped with Nr antennas servers K devices including vehicles,drones,ships,sensors,handset radios,etc.Nonorthogonal coded modulation,a special form of multiple input multiple output(MIMO)-NOMA is proposed.The discussion starts with evaluating the output signal to interference-plus-noise(SINR)of receiver filter,leading to the unveiling of a closed-form expression for overloading systems as the number of users is significantly larger than the number of devices admitted such that massive connectivity is rendered.The expression allows for the development of simple yet successful interference suppression based on power allocation and phase shaping techniques that maximizes the sum rate since it is equivalent to fixed-point programming as can be proved.The proposed design is exemplified by nonlinear modulation schemes such as minimum shift keying(MSK)and Gaussian MSK(GMSK),two pivotal modulation formats in IoMT standards such as Link-16 and JITDS.Numerical results show that near capacity performance is offered.Fortunately,the performance is obtained using simple forward error corrections(FECs)of higher coding rate than existing schemes do,while the transmit power is reduced by 6 dB.The proposed design finds wide applications not only in IoMT but also in deep space communications,where ultra reliability and massive connectivity is a keen concern.

The endoplasmic reticulum is a key site for protein production and quality control.More than one-third of proteins are synthesized and folded into the correct three-dimensional conformation in the endoplasmic reticulum.However,during protein folding,unfolded and/or misfolded proteins are prone to occur,which may lead to endoplasmic reticulum stress.Organisms can monitor the quality of the proteins produced by endoplasmic reticulum quality control(ERQC)and endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation(ERAD),which maintain endoplasmic reticulum protein homeostasis by degrading abnormally folded proteins.The underlying mechanisms of protein folding and ERAD in mammals have not yet been fully explored.Therefore,this paper reviews the process and function of protein folding and ERAD in mammalian cells,in order to help clinicians better understand the mechanism of ERAD and to provide a scientific reference for the treatment of diseases caused by abnormal ERAD.

Comparative analysis of thermodynamic and mechanical responses between underground hydrogen storage and compressed air energy storage in lined rock caverns

Underground hydrogen storage(UHS)and compressed air energy storage(CAES)are two viable largescale energy storage technologies for mitigating the intermittency of wind and solar power.Therefore,it is meaningful to compare the properties of hydrogen and air with typical thermodynamic storage processes.This study employs a multi-physical coupling model to compare the operations of CAES and UHS,integrating gas thermodynamics within caverns,thermal conduction,and mechanical deformation around rock caverns.Gas thermodynamic responses are validated using additional simulations and the field test data.Temperature and pressure variations of air and hydrogen within rock caverns exhibit similarities under both adiabatic and diabatic simulation modes.Hydrogen reaches higher temperature and pressure following gas charging stage compared to air,and the ideal gas assumption may lead to overestimation of gas temperature and pressure.Unlike steel lining of CAES,the sealing layer(fibre-reinforced plastic FRP)in UHS is prone to deformation but can effectively mitigates stress in the sealing layer.In CAES,the first principal stress on the surface of the sealing layer and concrete lining is tensile stress,whereas UHS exhibits compressive stress in the same areas.Our present research can provide references for the selection of energy storage methods.

The impact-abrasive wear behavior of ZTA(zirconia toughened alumina)particle(ZTAp)and NbC particle(NbCp)reinforced Fe60 matrix composites(ZTAp-NbCp/Fe60)were investigated.Specimens of pure Fe60 matrix material,NbCp reinforced Fe60 composite(NbCp/Fe60)and ZTAp-NbCp/Fe60 with different contents of ZTAp were prepared through vacuum sintering and tested on an MLD-10B Impact Wear Rig.As revealed by the results,NbCp could strengthen Fe60 matrix,and had fine grain strengthening effect on Fe60matrix.When the mass fraction of ZTAp was 5%-15%,the impact-abrasive wear performance of ZTAp-NbCp/Fe60 composites was better than that of Fe60 and NbCp/Fe60.When the mass fraction was 15%,the ZTApNbCp/Fe60 had the best performance.ZTAp could weaken the impact and wear effect of abrasive particles on the composite and protect the matrix.Cracks occured at the interface and at defects in the ZTAp.The former leaded to ZTAp shedding,while the latter leaded to ZTAp fracturing.In both cases,the performance of the composite material would decrease.

Accurate positioning is one of the essential requirements for numerous applications of remote sensing data,especially in the event of a noisy or unreliable satellite signal.Toward this end,we present a novel framework for aircraft geo-localization in a large range that only requires a downward-facing monocular camera,an altimeter,a compass,and an open-source Vector Map(VMAP).The algorithm combines the matching and particle filter methods.Shape vector and correlation between two building contour vectors are defined,and a coarse-to-fine building vector matching(CFBVM)method is proposed in the matching stage,for which the original matching results are described by the Gaussian mixture model(GMM).Subsequently,an improved resampling strategy is designed to reduce computing expenses with a huge number of initial particles,and a credibility indicator is designed to avoid location mistakes in the particle filter stage.An experimental evaluation of the approach based on flight data is provided.On a flight at a height of 0.2 km over a flight distance of 2 km,the aircraft is geo-localized in a reference map of 11,025 km~2using 0.09 km~2aerial images without any prior information.The absolute localization error is less than 10 m.

Flexible pressure sensors have many potential applications in the monitoring of physiological signals because of their good biocompatibil-ity and wearability.However,their relatively low sensitivity,linearity,and stability have hindered their large-scale commercial application.Herein,aﬂexible capacitive pressure sensor based on an interdigital electrode structure with two porous microneedle arrays(MNAs)is pro-posed.The porous substrate that constitutes the MNA is a mixed product of polydimethylsiloxane and NaHCO3.Due to its porous and interdigital structure,the maximum sensitivity(0.07 kPa-1)of a porous MNA-based pressure sensor was found to be seven times higher than that of an imporous MNA pressure sensor,and it was much greater than that of aﬂat pressure sensor without a porous MNA structure.Finite-element analysis showed that the interdigital MNA structure can greatly increase the strain and improve the sensitivity of the sen-sor.In addition,the porous MNA-based pressure sensor was found to have good stability over 1500 loading cycles as a result of its bilayer parylene-enhanced conductive electrode structure.Most importantly,it was found that the sensor could accurately monitor the motion of aﬁnger,wrist joint,arm,face,abdomen,eye,and Adam’s apple.Furthermore,preliminary semantic recognition was achieved by monitoring the movement of the Adam’s apple.Finally,multiple pressure sensors were integrated into a 33 array to detect a spatial pressure distribu-×tion.Compared to the sensors reported in previous works,the interdigital electrode structure presented in this work improves sensitivity and stability by modifying the electrode layer rather than the dielectric layer.

Pu-erh tea has been shown to reduce gut inflammation in DSS-induced mice. Also， we found abnormal liver cholesterol metabolism in dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced mice. However， it’s not clear how Pu-erh tea improves DSS-induced impaired liver cholesterol metabolism. Here， we established the DSS-induced model and clarified that DSS exacerbated gut inflammation accompanied by disorders of liver cholesterol metabolism. Pu-erh tea reshaped gut microbes， limited gut oxidative stress and inflammation (NOX2/ROS/MyD88/NF-κB， 24.97%-52.89%)， reduced gut bile acid reabsorption (up-regulation of FXR/FGF15， 24.53%-55.91%)， and promoted liver bile acid synthesis (up-regulation of PPARα/CYP7A1， 34.65%-79.14%)， thereby partly restoring liver cholesterol metabolism (regulated FXR/SHP/SREBPs， 53.19%-95.40%). Altered bile acid metabolic profiles (increased chenodeoxycholic acid， ursodeoxycholic acid， lithocholic acid， etc.) may also improve liver cholesterol metabolism by altering gut and liver inflammation. Thus， gut microbial reshaping and altered bile acid metabolism may be key targets of Pu-erh tea for improving DSS-induced liver cholesterol metabolism disorders via the gut-gut microbe-bile acid-liver axis.

Developing a mucosal vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 is critical for combatting the epidemic.Here,we investigated long-term immune responses and protection against SARS-CoV-2 for the intranasal vaccination of a triple receptor-binding domain(RBD)scaffold protein(3R-NC)adjuvanted with a flagellin protein(KFD)(3R-NC+KFDi.n).In mice,the vaccination elicited RBD-specific broad-neutralizing antibody responses in both serum and mucosal sites sustained at high level over a year.This long-lasting humoral immunity was correlated with the presence of long-lived RBD-specific IgG-and IgA-producing plasma cells,alongside the Th17 and Tfh17-biased T-cell responses driven by the KFD adjuvant.Based upon these preclinical findings,an open labeled clinical trial was conducted in individuals who had been primed with the inactivated SARS-CoV-2(IAV)vaccine.With a favorable safety profile,the 3R-NC+KFDi.n boost elicited enduring broad-neutralizing IgG in plasma and IgA in salivary secretions.To meet the challenge of frequently emerged variants,we further designed an updated triple-RBD scaffold protein with mutated RBD combinations,which can induce adaptable antibody responses to neutralize the newly emerging variants,including JN.1.Our findings highlight the potential of the KFD-adjuvanted triple-RBD scaffold protein is a promising prototype for the development of a mucosal vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 infection.

《刑法修正案(十二)》将民营企业内部人员纳入《刑法》第165条、第166条、第169条规制范围,进一步加强了民营企业产权平等保护。对于民营企业产权保护,应在形式平等之下,关注不同所有制企业内部人员实施背信犯罪的本质区别,实行差异化保护。民营企业内部人员背信犯罪的司法认定,应在与国有企业内部人员背信犯罪区分的基础之上,结合《公司法》相关规定与理论进行。具体而言,事实董事能够被解释为“董事”;控股股东或实际控制人实施相关背信犯罪的认定则需视具体情形而定;一人公司、个人独资企业、合伙企业亦能被“其他公司、企业”所涵摄。对于行为的结果,应对是否造成“重大损失”进行实质判断,避免以义务违反替代财产损失;至于“违反法律、行政法规”的认定则属于违法性判断问题,相关背信行为取得股东会或董事会同意的,原则上不构成相应背信犯罪,但特殊情况下(表决权滥用等)也可能构成犯罪。
