Flow-induced corrosion consists electrochemical and mechanical components. The present paper has to assessed the role of chloride ion and dissolved oxygen in the electrochemical component of flow induced corrosion for aa5083-H321 aluminum-magnesium alloy which is extensively used in the construction of high-speed boats, submarines, hovercrafts, and desalination systems, in NaCI solutions. Electrochemical tests were carried out at flow velocities of 0, ：2, 5, 7 and 10 m/s, in aerated and deaerated NaCI solutions with different sodium chloride concentrations. The results showed that the high rate of oxygen reduction under hydrodynamic conditions causes an increase in the density of pits on the surface. The increase of chloride ions concentration under flow conditions accelerates the rate of anodic reactions, but have no influence on the cathodic reactions. Thus, in the current work, it was found that under flow conditions, due to the elimination of corrosion products inside the pits, corrosion resistance of the alloy is increased.

The EsA and CAs sMILE mission orbit is highly elliptical and will pass through multiple radiation *** soft X-ray Imager(sXI)instrument aboard has a radiation shutter door designed to close when the surrounding radiation flux is *** shutter door will close when passing below an altitude threshold to protect against trapped particles in the Earth’s Van Allen ***,two radiation environments can be approximated based on the shutter door position:open and *** instrument background for the CCDs(Charge-Coupled Devices)that form the focal plane array of the sXI were evaluated for the two *** to the correlation of the space environment with the solar cycle,the solar minima and maxima,the background was also evaluated at these two *** results demonstrated that the highest instrument background will occur during solar minima due to the main contributing source being Galactic Cosmic Rays(GCRs).It was also found that the open background was highest for solar minima and that the closed background was highest during solar *** is due to the radiation shutter door acting as a scattering centre and the changes in the energy flux distribution of the GCRs between the two solar extremes.

We report four disseminated cutaneous leishmaniasis(DCL) cases referred to leishmaniasis laboratory at the school of Public Health,Tehran University of Medical sciences with multiple nodular,ulcerative and crusted lesions extended on the face,trunk,and *** of the patients had any complication and historical involvement in their immunological system conditions that suggest as the criteria for *** smears of ulcers were positive for Leishmania *** parasite was isolated from the active lesions and identified as Leishmania major(L major) using PCR-RFLP assay and sequencing analysis.

The soft X-ray Imager(sXI)is part of the scientific payload of the solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(sMILE)*** is a joint science mission between the European space Agency(EsA)and the Chinese Academy of sciences(CAs)and is due for launch in *** is a compact X-ray telescope with a wide field-of-view(FOV)capable of encompassing large portions of Earth’s magnetosphere from the vantage point of the sMILE *** is sensitive to the soft X-rays produced by the solar Wind Charge eXchange(sWCX)process produced when heavy ions of solar wind origin interact with neutral particles in Earth’s *** provides a mechanism for boundary detection within the magnetosphere,such as the position of Earth’s magnetopause,because the solar wind heavy ions have a very low density in regions of closed magnetic field *** sensitivity of the sXI is such that it can potentially track movements of the magnetopause on timescales of a few minutes and the orbit of sMILE will enable such movements to be tracked for segments lasting many *** is led by the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom(UK)with collaborating organisations on hardware,software and science support within the UK,Europe,China and the United states.

Background： The objective of this study was to study how changing the ratio of Lys to Thr, Lys to His, and Lys to Val affects the expression of lipogenic genes and microRNA （miRNA） in bovine mammary epithelial cells. Results： Triplicate cultures with the respective ＂optimal＂ amino acid （aa） ratio （OPaa = Lys：Met 2.9：1; Thr：Phe 1.05：1; Lys：Thr 1.8：1; Lys：His 2.38：1; Lys：Val 1.23：1） plus rapamycin （OPaaRMC; positive control）, OPaa, Lys：Thr 2.1：1 （LT2.1）, Lys：Thr 1.3：1 （LT1.3）, Lys：His 3.05：1 （LH3.0）, or Lys：Val 1.62：1 （LV1.6） were incubated in lactogenic medium for 12 h. The expression of 15 lipogenic genes and 7 miRNA were evaluated. Responses to LT2.1, LT1.3, LH3.0, and LV1.6 relative to the control （OPaaRMC） included up-regulated expression ofACss2, FABP3, ACACA, FAsN, sCD, LPIN1, INsIG1, sREBF1, PPARD, and NR1H3 （commonly known as LXR-a）. Furthermore, LV1.6 up-regulated expression of ACsL1, DGAT1, and RXRA and down-regulated PPARG expression. Although no effect of OPaa on expression of PPARG was observed, compared with the control, OPaa up-regulated expression of the PPAR targets ACss2, FABP3, ACACA, FAsN, sCD, LPIN1, INsIG1, and sREBF1. Compared with the control, the expression of the anti-lipogenic MIR27AB was down-regulated by OPaa, LT2.1, LT1.3 and LH3.0. In contrast, compared with the control, the expression of the pro-lipogenic MIR21 was up-regulated by LT2.1, LT1.3, LH3.0, and LV1.6. Conclusions： The observed up-regulation of lipogenic gene networks and the changes in expression of key miRNA involved in the control of lipogenic balance are indicative of a potentially important role of Eaa ratios and mTOR signaling in the regulation of milk fat synthesis.

Objective:To investigate Petroselinum crispum Latifolum(parsley) for treating stomach and intestinal disorders in ***:An 80%ethanol extract was prepared from parsley seeds, and its antispasmodic activity assessed by measuring contractions of isolated ilea induced by 60 mM potassium chloride(KG).A piece of ileum from an adult male Wistar rat was dissected and mounted in an organ bath containing Tyrode’s solution,and ileum contractions were recorded by an isotonic transducer under one gram resting *** effect of parsley extract was measured in the presence of two antagonists’ of a - and(***:These experiments showed that parsley extract inhibited the response to 60 mM KC1 in a concentration-dependent manner(Pspasmolytic effect of parsley extract was unaffected by 1μM phentolamine or 1μM ***:This study shows that parsley seed extract is a relaxant of isolated rat ileum and the relaxation effect of extract does not involved adrenergic receptors.

Cystine is the primary source material for the synthesis of ***,the pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution of cystine are largely unknown.A surrogate analyte D_(4)-cystine was employed to generate calibration curves for the determination of levels of D_(4)-cystine and endogenous cystine in mice by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-Ms/Ms).Validation assessments proved the sensitivity,specificity and reproducibility of the method with a lower limit of quantification(LLOQ)of 5 ng/mL over 5e5000 ng/mL in *** pharmacokinetics of D_(4)-cystine were evaluated after administering injections and oral solutions,both of which minimally impacted endogenous cystine *** absolute bioavailability of cystine was 18.6%,15.1%and 25.6%at doses of 25,50 and 100 mg/kg,*** injected D_(4)-cystine resulted in dramatically high plasma levels with reduced levels in the brain and *** administered D_(4)-cystine resulted in high levels in the plasma and stomach with relatively low levels in the lung,kidney,heart and brain.

Immune response to an indigenously developed r-Hepatitis B vaccine in mixed population: study of an accelerated vaccination schedule

AIM: To establish the safety and efficacy of an indigenously developed r-hepatitis B vaccine using an accelerated schedule and to highlight the social awareness and commitment in preventing the spreading of hepatitis B virus infection. METHODs: The study was a multicentric, double blind, randomized (3:1) study using three doses of vaccine immunization schedule (20μg for those above 10 years old and 10 μg for those below 10 years old) on d 0, 30 and 60. One hundred and sixty-six subjects were enrolled (87 males and 76 females aged 5-35 years). The main outcome measure was assessment of immunogenicity and safety. REsULTs: A 100% seroconversion response was observed on the 30th d after the 1st injection in both the experimental groups. The sero-protection data reported a 41.2-65.6% response on the 30th d after the 1st injection and reached 100% on the 60th d. Descriptive statistical analysis showed a geometric mean titer value of 13.77 mIU/mL in the test (BEVAC) group and 10.95 mlU/mL in the commercial control (ENGERIX-B) group on the 30th d after the 1st injection. The response on the 60th d showed a geometric mean titre value (GMT) of 519.84 mlU/mL in the BEVAC group and 475.46 mlU/mL in the ENGERIX-B group. On the 90th d, the antibody titer response was observed to be 2627.58 mlU/mL in the BEVAC group and 2272.72 mlU/mL in the ENGERIX-B group. Two subjects in each group experienced pains at injection site after the first vaccination. A total of six subjects in both groups experienced a solicited adverse reaction, which included pains, swelling and redness at the injection site, three subjects in the group-B had a pain at the injection site after the third dose. No other serious adverse events occurred and no dose-related local or general symptoms were observed during the study. CONCLUsION: The vaccine is safe, efficacious and immunogenic in comparison with the well documented ENGERIX-B.
