Cellular heterogeneity is crucial for understanding tissue biology and disease *** research is being advanced by single-cell metabolic analysis,which offers a technique to identify variations in RNA,proteins,metabolites,and drug molecules in *** this review,the recent advancement of single-cell metabolic analysis techniques and their applications in drug metabolism and drug response are ***-precision and controlled single-cell isolation and manipulation are provided by microfluidics-based methods,such as droplet microfluidics,microchamber,open microfluidic probe,and digital *** are used in tandem with variety of detection techniques,including optical imaging,Raman spectroscopy,electrochemical detection,RNA sequencing,and mass spectrometry,to evaluate single-cell metabolic changes in response to drug *** advantages and disadvantages of different techniques are discussed along with the challenges and future directions for single-cell *** techniques are employed in pharmaceutical analysis for studying drug response and resistance pathway,therapeutic targets discovery,and in vitro disease model evaluation.

The selection of global best(Gbest) exerts a high influence on the searching performance of multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm(MOPSO). The candidates of MOPSO in external archive are always estimated to select Gbest. However,in most estimation methods, the candidates are considered as the Gbest in a fixed way, which is difficult to adapt to varying evolutionary requirements for balance between convergence and diversity of MOPSO. To deal with this problem, an adaptive candidate estimation-assisted MOPSO(ACE-MOPSO) is proposed in this paper. First, the evolutionary state information,including both the global dominance information and global distribution information of non-dominated solutions, is introduced to describe the evolutionary states to extract the evolutionary requirements. Second, an adaptive candidate estimation method,based on two evaluation distances, is developed to select the excellent leader for balancing convergence and diversity during the dynamic evolutionary process. Third, a leader mutation strategy, using the elite local search(ELS), is devised to select Gbest to improve the searching ability of ACE-MOPSO. Fourth, the convergence analysis is given to prove the theoretical validity of ACE-MOPSO. Finally, this proposed algorithm is compared with popular algorithms on twenty-four benchmark functions. The results demonstrate that ACE-MOPSO has advanced performance in both convergence and diversity.

A multiwalled carbon nanotubes/poly(bromocresol green) modfied glassy carbon electrode (MWNTs-PBG/GCE) was used to investigate the electrochemical behavior of reduced glutathione(GSH). GSH showed an irreversible oxidation process on MWNTs-PBG/GCE with an oxidation peak at 0.77 V(vs. SCE) in a phosphate buffer solution(pH=4.0). The kinetic parameters of the electrochemical behavior of GSH on MWNTs-PBG/GCE were calculated. Under the optimal conditions and with the help of amperometric method, a linear relationship was obtained between the oxidation peak current and GSH concentration in the range from 2×10-7 mol/L to 5×10-6 mol/L with the detection limit as 1×10-8 mol/L(signal-to-noise ratio of 3). The current reached the steady-state current within about 5 s. The modified electrode surface had very good reproducibility and stability.

The multi-objective differential evolution(MODE)algorithm is an effective method to solve multi-objective optimization ***,in the absence of any information of evolution progress,the optimization strategy of the MODE algorithm still appears as an open *** this paper,a dynamic multi-objective differential evolution algorithm,based on the information of evolution progress(DMODE-IEP),is developed to improve the optimization *** main contributions of DMODE-IEP are as ***,the information of evolution progress,using the fitness values,is proposed to describe the evolution progress of ***,the dynamic adjustment mechanisms of evolution parameter values,mutation strategies and selection parameter value based on the information of evolution progress,are designed to balance the global exploration ability and the local exploitation ***,the convergence of DMODE-IEP is proved using the probability ***,the testing results on the standard multi-objective optimization problem and the wastewater treatment process verify that the optimization effect of DMODE-IEP algorithm is superior to the other compared state-of-the-art multi-objective optimization algorithms,including the quality of the solutions,and the optimization speed of the algorithm.

A comparative study on mechanical properties and microstructure of 316L austenitic stainless steel between solution treated specimen and hot rolled specimen was conducted. After a specimen was subjected to solution treatment at 1 050 ℃ for 6 min, its mechanical properties were determined through tensile and hardness tests. Based on the true stress vs true strain and engineering stress vs engineering strain flow curves, the work hardening rate has been explored. The results show that the solution treated specimen has an excellent combination of strength and elongation, and that this steel is easy to work-hardening during deformation. Optical microscope, scanning electron micro- scope, transmission electron microscope and X-ray diffraction examinations were conducted, these reveal that twins in 316L austenitic stainless steel can be divided into suspended twin and transgranular twin which have different for mation mechanisms in growth, and that the deformation induced martensite nucleated and grown in the shear band intersections can be observed, and that the fracture surfaces are mainly composed of dimples and exhibit a tough fracture character.

The characteristics of defect bands in the microstructure of high pressure die casting(HPDC)AE44 magnesium alloy were *** attention was paid to the effects of process parameters during the HPDC process and casting structure on the distribution of defect *** show that the defect bands are solute segregation bands with the enrichment of Al,Ce and La elements,which are basically in the form of Al_(11)RE_(3) *** is no obvious aggregation of porosities in the defect *** width of the inner defect band is 4-8 times larger than that of the outer *** variation trends of the distribution of the inner and outer defect bands are not consistent under different process parameters and at different locations of *** is due to the discrepancy between the formation mechanisms of double defect *** filling and solidification behavior of the melt near the chilling layer is very complicated,which finally leads to a fluctuation of the width and location of the outer defect *** affecting the content and aggregation degree of externally solidified crystals(ESCs)in the cross section of die castings,the process parameters and casting structure have a great influence on the distribution of the inner defect band.
