A three-magnet-ring quasi-zero stiffness(QZS-TMR)isolator is designed to solve the problem of low-frequency vibration isolation in the vertical direction of precision ***-TMR has both positive and negative stiffness *** positive stiffness structure consists of two mutually repelling magnetic rings and the negative stiffness structure consists of two magnetic rings nested within each *** modulating the relative distance between positive and negative stiffness structures,the isolator can have QZS *** with other QZS isolators,the QZS-TMR is compact and easy to *** addition,the working load of QZS-TMR can be flexibly adjusted by varying the radial widths of the inner magnetic *** this paper,the static analysis of QZS-TMR is carried out to guide the design,and the low-frequency vibration isolation performance is *** addition,the experimental prototype of QZS-TMR is designed and *** static and vibration isolation experiments are carried out on the *** results show that the initial vibration isolation frequency of the experimental prototype is about 4 *** results show an excellent low-frequency vibration isolation effect,which is consistent with the theoretical *** paper introduces a new approach to the design of the QZS isolator.

Distributionally robust optimization configuration method for island microgrid considering extreme scenarios

The marine climate conditions are intricate and variable. In scenarios characterized by high proportions of wind and solar energy access, the uncertainty regarding the energy sources for island microgrid is significantly exacerbated, presenting challenges to both the economic viability and reliability of the capacity configuration for island microgrids. To address this issue, this paper proposes a distributionally robust optimization (DRO) method for island microgrids, considering extreme scenarios of wind and solar conditions. Firstly, to address the challenge of determining the probability distribution functions of wind and solar in complex island climates, a conditional generative adversarial network (CGAN) is employed to generate a scenario set for wind and solar conditions. Then, by combining k-means clustering with an extreme scenario selection method, typical scenarios and extreme scenarios are selected from the generated scenario set, forming the scenario set for the DRO model of island microgrids. On this basis, a DRO model based on multiple discrete scenarios is constructed with the objective of minimizing the sum of investment costs, operation and maintenance costs, fuel purchase costs, penalty costs of wind and solar curtailment, and penalty costs of load loss. The model is subjected to equipment operation and power balance constraints, and solved using the columns and constraints generation (CCG) algorithm. Finally, through typical examples, the effectiveness of this paper’s method in balancing the economic viability and robustness of the configuration scheme for the island microgrid, as well as reducing wind and solar curtailment and load loss, is verified.

Inspired by biological ion channels,numerous artificial asymmetric ion channels have been synthesized to facilitate the fabrication of ionic ***,the creation of biomimetic asymmetric ion channels necessitates expensive scientific apparatus and intricate material processing procedures,which constrains its advancement within the realm of ionic *** this study,we have devised dynamic asymmetric ion channels with mechanical responsiveness by combining polymers of varying elastic modulus along the longitudinal axis of carbon nanotube fiber(CNTF).The ion rectification can be modulated via the disparate response of CNTF-based ion channels to mechanical *** have effectively employed these asymmetric ion channels with mechanical sensitivity in the design of a logic gate device,achieving logic operations such as“AND”and“OR”.The conception of these dynamic asymmetric ion channels with mechanical sensitivity offers a straightforward,cost-effective,and versatile approach for generating ion channels,highlighting their potential application in intricate,highly integrated ionic circuits.

Does ergogenic effect of caffeine supplementation depend on CYP1A2 genotypes? A systematic review with meta-analysis

Background:The ergogenic effects of caffeine intake on exercise performance are well-established,even if differences exist among individuals in response to caffeine *** genetic variation of a specific gene,human cytochrome P450 enzyme 1A2(CYP1A2)(rs762551),may be one reason for this *** systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to comprehensively evaluate the influence of CYP1A2 gene types on athletes’exercise performance after caffeine ***:A literature search through 4 databases(Web of Science,PubMed,Scopus,and China National Knowledge Infrastructure)was conducted until March *** effect size was expressed as the weighted mean difference(WMD)by calculating fixed effects meta-analysis if heterogeneity was not significant(I^(2)≤50%and p≥0.1).Subgroup analyses were performed based on AA and AC/CC genotype of ***:The final number of studies meeting the inclusion criteria was 12(n=666 participants).The overall analysis showed that the cycling time trial significantly improved after caffeine intake(WMD=-0.48,95%confidence interval(95%CI):-0.83 to-0.13,p=0.007).In subgroup analyses,acute caffeine intake improved cycling time trial only in individuals with the A allele(WMD=-0.90,95%CI:-1.48 to-0.33,p=0.002),but not the C allele(WMD=-0.08,95%CI:-0.32 to 0.17,p=0.53).Caffeine supplementation did not influence the Wingate(WMD=8.07,95%CI:-22.04 to 38.18,p=0.60)or countermovement jump test(CMJ)performance(WMD=1.17,95%CI:-0.02 to 2.36,p=0.05),and these outcomes were not influenced by CYP1A2 ***:Participants with the CYP1A2 genotype with A allele improved their cycling time trials after caffeine ***,compared to placebo,acute caffeine supplementation failed to increase the Wingate or CMJ performance,regardless of CYP1A2 genotype.
