Handling variable, non-stationary ambient noise is a challenging task for automatic speech recognition (ASR) systems. To address this issue, multi-style, noise condition independent (CI) model training using speech data collected in diverse noise environments, or uncertainty decoding techniques can be used. An alternative approach is to explicitly approximate the continuous trajectory of Gaussian component mean and variance parameters against the varying noise level, for example, using variable parameter hidden Markov model (VP-HMM). This paper investigates a more generalized form of variable parameter HMMs (GVP-HMM). In addition to Gaussian component means and variances, it can also provide a more compact trajectory modeling for tied linear transformations. An alternative noise condition dependent (CD) training algorithm is also proposed to handle the bias to training noise condition distribution. Consistent error rate gains were obtained over conventional VP-HMM mean and variance only trajectory modeling on a media vocabulary Mandarin Chinese in-car navigation command recognition task.

To meet the market requirements for Flexible Transf er line (FTl), which consists of modular NC machining tools of high quality and co st saving, the methodologies and technologies of client-oriented FTl rapid resp onse schematic design CAPP-based, one of the key techniques, are presented in t his paper. In order to achieve this purpose, an integrated system for integrated design of CAD/CAPP/FTl with box-type parts is realized. In this paper, firstly the theory of the conceptual design of FTl based on CAPP is established and the software architecture is developed. The global-domain pr oduct model is put forward to meet with data representation. After the manufactu ring feature is analyzed and decomposed for machining operations, the feature-b ased part unified data model object-oriented is built. Secondly the knowledge- based CAPP system data model is established. The process planning unit model is formed by work element (WE), which is tool-cell based function abstraction meth od, and has unified layers with respect to designing and manufacturing. With WEs through dynamic response and simultaneous structure in process planning, the pr inciple solution for CAPP function system can be implemented. lastly the mapping from process domain to module design domain is built. The unidirectional select ion process based on fuzzy matching technology is easily dealt with computer. Th e algorithm of decision with fuzzy synthetic evaluation method and technology is applied to estimate the feasibility of the results in local working procedure o f modular NC machine tools and make decision of designs in overall FTl, which co nsists of many different factors. The example shows that the rapid response desi gn in bidding-based FTl scheme design is realized.

Rheological measurement has been an effective method to characterize the structure and properties for multiphase/multi-component polymers, owing to its sensitivity to the structure change of hetero- geneous systems. In this article, recent progress in the studies on the morphology/structure and rheological properties of heterogeneous systems is summarized, mainly reporting the findings of the authors and their collaborators, involving the correlation between the morphology and viscoelastic relaxation of lCST-type polymer blends, the microstructure and linear/nonlinear viscoelastic behavior of block copolymers, time scaling of shear-induced crystallization and rheological response of poly- olefins, and the relationship between the structure/properties and rheological behavior of filled polymer blends. It is suggested that a thorough understanding of the characteristic rheological response to the morphology/structure evolution of multiphase/multi-component polymers facilitates researchers’ op- timizing the morphology/structure and ultimate mechanical properties of polymer materials.

We investigated the effects of fish protein hydrolysate (FPH) on growth performance and humoral immune response of the large yellow croaker (Pseudosciaena crocea R.). One thousand and two hundred large yellow croakers [initial average weight: (1.2.75±2..85) g] were divided into four groups and reared in floating sea cages (3 m×3 m×3 m). The animals were fed with 4 diets: basal diet only (control) or diets supplemented with 5%, 1.% and 1.% (w/w) FPH. The results show that dietary FPH levels significantly influenced the growth and immunity of the large yellow croaker. Compared with the control group, total weight gain (TWG) in all treatment groups, relative weight gain (RWG) and specific growth rate (SGR) in fish fed with diets supplemented with 1.% and 1.% FPH were significantly increased (Plar results were observed in immune parameters [lysozyme activity, serum complements, immunoglobulin M (IgM)]. lysozyme activity, complement C4 and IgM were also significantly increased (Plemented with 1.% and 1.% FPH, while complement C3 level was significantly increased (Pll treatment groups. In general, with the supplementation of FPH, particularly at dose of 1.%, the growth performance and immunity of the large yellow croaker can be improved effectively.

There were a series of severe floods along the middle to lower reaches of the Yangtze River (Changjiang River) in China during the 1.90s. The extensive summer (June, July and August) precipitation is mostly responsible for the flooding. The summer rainfall in the 1.80s and the 1.90s is much higher than that in the previous 3 decades. The means for 1.90–1.99 is +87.62.mm above normal, marked the 1.90s the wettest decade since the 1.50s. Six stations with a time span of 1.80–1.99 are selected to establish century-long rainfall series. This series also shows that the 1.90s is the wettest decade during the last 1.0 years. In the wettest 1. years, four occurred in the 1.90s (1.91. 1.96, 1.98 and 1.99). Both global and China’s temperature show there is a relative lower air temperature during the 1.60–1.70s, and a rapid warming in the 1.80–1.90s. Comparisons of rainfall between 1.60–1.79 and 1.80–1.99 show there are dramatic changes. In the cold period 1.60–1.79, the summer rainfall along the Yangtze River is 3.8 % to 4.7 % below the normal, during the warm period 1.80–1.99, over 8.4 % to 1..2.% of summer rainfall occurs. Over the whole eastern China, the summer rainfall shows opposite spatial patterns from the 1.60–1.70s to 1.80–1.90s. The consistent trend toward more rainfall with global warming is also presented by the greenhouse scenario modeling. A millennial Drought/flood Index for the middle to lower reaches of the Yangtze River showed that although the surplus summer rainfall in the 1.90s is the severest during the past 1.0 years, it is not outstanding in the context of past millennium. Power spectra of the Drought/flood Index show significant interdecadal periods at 33.3 and 1..8 years. Thus, both the natural interdecadal variations and the global warming may play important roles in the frequent floods witnessed during the last two decades.

Three s-triazine derivatives have been synthesized and their structures been de-termined. These are Compound I: 2.4-dimethyl-6-(p-N,N-dimethylaminostyryl)-s-triazine (abbre-viated to NMe-1., Compound II: 2.4-dimethyl-6-(p-N,N-diethylaminostyryl)-s-triazine (to NEt-1., and Compound III: 2.methyl-4,6-bis(p-N,N-dimethylaminostyryl)-s-triazine (NMe-2.. NMe-1.and NEt-1.molecules belong to the D-π-A type with a one-dimensional charge-transfer character. NMe-1.crystallizes to centrosymmetric P1.space group, while NEt-1.to non-centrosymmetric polar Cc space group with all of the molecular charge-transfer axes taking the same orientation. Under the irradiation of 1.64 nm fundamental laser, NEt-1.powder crystals radiate a 2.order harmonic light with an intensity 46.8 times that of urea. The Λ typed NMe-2.molecule, which has a two-dimensional charge-transfer character, crystallizes to polar P2.0}space group. Its powder crystals exhibit a 2.order harmonic intensity 46.2.times that of urea. The quantum chemical cal-culations and tensor analyses have been carried out to reveal the dependence of the macro 2.order nonlinear optical (NlO) efficiency on the micro 2.order NlO coefficients (β) and on the crystalline packing styles.

Metallomics is an emerging scientific area integrating the research fields related to the understanding of the molecular mechanisms of metal-associated life processes and the entirety of metal and metalloid species within a cell or tissue type. In metallomics,metalloproteins,metalloenzymes and other metal-containing biomolecules in a biological system are referred to as metallomes,similar to genomes and proteomes in genomics and proteomics,respectively. This review discusses the concept of metallomics with a focus on analytical techniques and methods,particularly the so-called hyphenated techniques which combine a high-resolution separation technique (gel electrophoresis/laser ablation,chromatography or capillary electrophoresis) with a highly sensitive detection method such as elemental (inductively coupled plasma,ICP) or molecular (electron spray ionization (ESI) or matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MAlDI)) mass spectrometry,or nuclear X-ray fluorescence/absorption spectrometry. The applications of these advanced analytical methods in the identification of metallo-/phospho-/seleno-proteins,probing of relationships between structure and function of metal-loproteins,and study of clinically used metallodrugs will be selectively outlined,along with their advantages and limitations.

This paper presents a novel adaptive controller for image-based visual servoing of a small autonomous helicopter to cope with uncalibrated camera parameters and unknown 3D geometry of the feature *** controller is based on the back-stepping technique,but its design has two new ***,it incorporates the visual feedback into the last step of the backstepping procedure,while existing backstepping-based methods employ the visual feedback at the early ***,the controller maps the image errors onto the actuator space via a depth-independent interaction matrix to avoid estimation the depths of the feature *** new design method makes it possible to linearly parameterize the closed-loop dynamics by the unknown camera parameters and coordinates of the feature points in the 3D space so that an adaptive algorithm can be developed to estimate the unknown parameters and coordinates *** potential functions are introduced in the controller to guarantee convergence of the image errors and to avoid trivial solutions of the estimated *** lyapunov method is used to prove the asymptotic stability of the proposed controller based on the nonlinear dynamics of the *** have been also conducted to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method.

A total of 1.0 primary NSClCs （non-small cell lung cancers） were recruited in this study to characterize the pattern of 3p2.0}lOH together with the RASSF1. methylation status and their clinical implication. 3p2.0}lOH by 8 microsatellite markers, RASSF1. methylation status by methylation-specific PCR （MSPCR） as well as bisulfite genomic sequencing （BGS）, and RASSF1. expression level by real-time quantitative PCR was performed. 3p2.0}lOH is frequent in NSClC with a mean frequency of （41.2.3.7）%. Significant associations between 3p2.0}lOH and gender, smoking history, histological type, and tumor size were observed. Cases with lOH have a slightly lower RASSF1. expression than cases without lOH but not statistically significant. Comparison of RASSF1. methylation that resulted from the three analyses shows significant correlations from one another. Higher frequency of methylation was observed in larger tumors and in smokers compared with smaller tumors and non-smokers, respectively. A significant correlation was also observed in extent between methylation and RASSF1. expression, illustrating that epigenetic mechanism could affect gene expression. The significant clinicopathological relations of 3p2.0}lOH may be of great use for both early detection and therapeutic interventions.
