BACKGROUND Real-world data on tofacitinib(TOF)covering a period of more than 1 year for a sufficient number of Asian patients with ulcerative colitis(UC)are *** To investigate the long-term efficacy and safety of TOF treatment for UC,including clinical *** We performed a retrospective single-center observational analysis of 111 UC patients administered TOF at Hyogo Medical University as a tertiary inflammatory bowel disease *** consecutive UC patients who received TOF between May 2018 and February 2020 were *** were followed up until August *** primary outcome was the clinical response rate at week *** outcomes included clinical remission at week 8,cumulative persistence rate of TOF administration,colectomy-free survival,relapse after tapering of TOF and predictors of clinical response at week 8 and week *** The clinical response and remission rates were 66.3%and 50.5%at week 8,and 47.1%and 43.5%at week 48,*** overall cumulative clinical remission rate was 61.7%at week 48 and history of anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)agents use had no influence(P=0.25).The cumulative TOF persistence rate at week 48 was significantly lower in patients without clinical remission than in those with remission at week 8(30.9%vs 88.1%;P<0.001).Baseline partial Mayo Score was significantly lower in responders vs non-responders at week 8(odds ratio:0.61,95%confidence interval:0.45-0.82,P=0.001).Relapse occurred in 45.7%of patients after TOF tapering,and 85.7%of patients responded within 4 wk after *** 6 patients with herpes zoster(HZ)developed the infection after achieving remission by *** TOF was more effective in UC patients with mild activity at baseline and its efficacy was not affected by previous treatment with anti-TNF-α*** relapsed patients responded again after re-increase of TOF and nearly half relapsed after tapering off *** attention is needed for tapering and H

To understand the self-healing property of an engineered barrier for radioactive waste disposal,the hydraulic conductivity of compacted bentoniteesand mixtures saturated with artificial seawater(SW)before and after gas migration was ***-and Ca-bentonites were mixed with fine sand at a ratio of 70%bentonite in dry *** aspects were considered during the experiment:the hydraulic conductivity of the specimen that was resaturated after gas migration and the distribution of water content immediately after gas migration to study gas migration *** gas migrated through the entire cross-section of the specimen,and gas breakthrough occurred in the equilibrium swelling pressure range ***,the gas flow rate reached a sufficient large value when the gas pressure was approximately twice the equilibrium axial pressure(the sum of swelling and confining pressures),which excluded the back *** the gas migration pathway was not visible when the specimen was observed immediately after gas migration,the water content distribution showed that several parts of the specimen with lower water content were connected in the direction of gas *** resaturation,the change in permeability was within a limited rangedtwo to three times larger than that before gas migration for each type of bentonite in *** slight change suggests that gas migration creates a pore structure that cannot be sealed via crystalline swelling of montmorillonite in SW,even if highly compacted bentonite is used under a constant-volume condition.

Agriculture is facing a massive increase in demand per hectare as a result of an ever-expanding population and environmental *** we have learned much about how environmental conditions and diseases impact crop yield,until recently considerably less was known concerning endogenous factors,including within-plant nutrient *** this review,we discuss studies of source-sink interactions covering both fundamental research in model systems under controlled growth conditions and how the findings are being translated to crop plants in the *** this respect we detail efforts aimed at improving and/or combining C3,C4,and CAM modes of photosynthesis,altering the chloroplastic electron transport chain,modulating photorespiration,adopting bacterial/algal carbon-concentrating mechanisms,and enhancing nitrogen-and water-use ***,we discuss how modulating TCA cycle activities and primary metabolism can result in increased rates of photosynthesis and outline the opportunities that evaluating natural variation in photosynthesis may *** source,transport,and sink functions are all covered in this review,we focus on discussing source functions because the majority of research has been conducted in this ***,considerable recent evidence,alongside the evidence from classical studies,demonstrates that both transport and sink functions are also incredibly important determinants of *** thus describe recent evidence supporting this notion and suggest that future strategies for yield improvement should focus on combining improvements in each of these steps to approach yield optimization.

When the wind speed changes significantly in a permanent magnet synchronous wind power generation system,the maximum power point cannot be easily determined in a timely *** study proposes a maximum power reference signal search method based on fuzzy control,which is an improvement to the climbing search method.A neural network-based parameter regulator is proposed to address external wind speed fluctuations,where the parameters of a proportional-integral controller is adjusted to accurately monitor the maximum power point under different wind speed ***,the effectiveness of this method is verified via Simulink simulation.

Abstract:Hybrid inorganic/organic white organic light emitting diodes(hybrid-WOLEDs)are fabricated by combi-ning the blue phosphorescent organic light emitting diodes(PHOLEDs)with red Sr2SiO4:Eu3+phosphor spin coatedas a color conversion layer(CCL)over the other side of glass substrate on the *** basic configuration of thePHOLEDs consists a host material,N,N'-dicarbazolyl-3,5-benzene(mCP)which doped with a blue phosphorescentiridium complexes iridium(Ⅲ)bis[(4,6-di-fluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N-C2'](FIrpic)to produce high efficient blueorganic light emitting *** hybrid-WOLED shows maximum luminous efficiency of 22.1 cd/A,maximumpower efficiency of 11.26 lm/W,external quantum efficiency of 10.2%and CIE coordinates of(0.32,0.34).Mo-reover,the output spectra and CIE coordinates of the hybrid-WOLED have a small shift in different driving currentdensity,which demonstrate good color stability.

There are two major protective methods against lightning outages on overhead distribution *** is a surge arrester,and the other is an overhead ground *** surge arresters have rather constant effect regardless of the cause of the lightning *** the other hand,the effect of an overhead ground wire is quite different in two major causes,the direct lightning hit and the induced *** is sufficient to provide surge arresters with an interval of 300 m for protection against the induced overvoltage caused by the nearby lightning *** of an overhead ground wire together with surge arresters is effective for lightning protection against the direct lightning hit to a distribution *** of surge arresters is the popular outage when the outage caused by the insulation break decreases ***,the existence of nearby trees leads to the line break due to the side flash from a *** lightning protection equipment with ZnO arrester components is popular in *** of a pole transformer and application of an electromagnetic analysis method,such as FDTD method,to surge phenomena is considerably advanced.
