Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)have been regarded as prospective rechargeable energy storage devices because of the high theoretical capacity and low redox potential of Zn ***,the uncontrollable formation of dendrites and the water-induced side reactions at the Zn/electrolyte interface,and the poor reversibility under a high current density(>2 mA·cm^(-2))and large area capacity(>2 mAh·cm^(-2))still limit the practical applications of ***,a strategy that can overcome these difficulties is urgently ***,we introduce an environmentally friendly and low-cost additive,namely urea,to the electrolyte of AZIBs to induce uniform Zn deposition and suppress the side *** of the adsorption behavior,electrochemical characterization,and observations of the morphology revealed the interfacial modification induced by urea on the Zn/electrolyte interface,demonstrating its huge potential in ***,the long-term cycling stability(over2100 h)of a Zn/Zn symmetric cell under a high current density of 5 mA·cm^(-2)and a capacity of 5 mAh·cm^(-2)was achieved with a 1 mol·L^(-1)ZnSo_(4)electrolyte with the urea ***,the assembled Zn/NH_4V_4o_(10)full cell with urea exhibited excellent cycling performance and an outstanding average Coulombic efficiency of 99.98%.These results indicate that this is a low-cost and effective additive strategy for realizing highly reversible AZIBs.

Corrosion failure accidents owing to flow erosion and pipeline corrosion frequently occur during *** welding reinforcement height(WRH)can induce locally micro-turbulent flow field,which aggravates local corrosion of welded joints.A high wall shear stress(WsS)experimental setup was established to conduct the online electrochemical corrosion *** influence of WRH sizes on local corrosion of welded joints was studied at different flow *** electrochemical signals of the local corrosion of X80 welded joints at different flow rates were monitored in real time using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and wire beam *** addition,the corrosion products composition and properties were *** results show that the micro-turbulent flow fields induced by the WRHs can enhance ion mass transfer near the welded *** corrosion products on the WRH surface also present different microscopic morphologies at different flow *** strong flow fields,the locally enhanced wsS can peel off the dense corrosion product partially,leading to the electrochemical distribution of large cathode and small anode,which accelerates the occurrence and development processes of the local corrosion of welded *** scientific guidelines for the corrosion protection of long-distance oil and gas pipelines can be potentially provided.

Subnatural-linewidth single photons are of vital importance in quantum optics and quantum information *** to previous research, it appears difficult to utilize resonance fluorescence to generate single photons with subnatural linewidth. here we propose a universally applicable approach to generate fluorescent single photons with subnatural linewidth, which can be implemented based on Λ-shape and similar energy ***, the general condition to obtain fluorescent single photons with subnatural linewidth is *** single-photon linewidth can be easily manipulated over a broad range by external fields, which can be several orders of magnitude smaller than the natural linewidth. our study can be easily implemented in various physical platforms with current experimental techniques and will significantly facilitate the research on the quantum nature of resonance fluorescence and the technologies in quantum information science.

This study focuses on finding a solution to the sharp decline in mechanical properties of Al-Si-Cu-Mg alloys due to rapid coarsening of traditional intermediate phases at high temperature.A new type of modified al oy,to be used in automobile engines at high temperatures,was prepared by adding Zr and Mo into Al-Si-Cu-Mg *** synergistic effects of Zr and Mo on the microstructure evolution and high-temperature mechanical properties were *** show that the addition of Zr and Mo generates a series of intermetallic phases dispersed in the *** can improve the strength of the alloy by hindering dislocation movement and crack *** addition,some nano-strengthened phases show coherent interfaces with the matrix and improve grain *** addition of Mo greatly improves the heat resistance of the *** extremely low diffusivity of Mo enables it to improve the thermal stability of the intermetallic phases,inhibit precipitation during aging,reduce the size of the precipitates,and improve the heat resistance of the alloy.

Small-break superposed station blackout(SBo)accidents are the basic design accidents of nuclear power *** the condition of a small break in the cold leg,SBo further increases the severity of the accident,and the steam bypass discharg-ing system(gCT)in the second circuit can play an important role in guaranteeing core *** explore the influence of the gCT on the thermal-hydraulic characteristics of the primary circuit,RELAP5 software was used to establish a numerical model based on a typical pressurized water reactor nuclear power *** different small breaks in the cold-leg super-posed SBo were selected,and the impact of the gCT operation on the transient response characteristics of the primary and secondary circuit systems was *** results show that the gCT plays an indispensable role in core heat removal during an accident;otherwise,core safety cannot be *** gCT was used in conjunction with the primary safety injection system during the placement *** the break diameter was greater than a certain critical value,the core cooling rate could not be guaranteed to be less than 100 K/h;however,the core remained in a safe state.

Pesticides and its degradation products,being well–known residues in soil,have recently been detected in many water bodies as pollutants of emerging concerns,and thus there is a contemporary demand to develop viable and cost–effective techniques for the removal of related organic pollutants in aqueous ***,a visible-light-responsive Fenton system was constructed with iron–doped bismuth oxybromides(Fe–BioBr)as the *** the advantage of sustainable Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ)conversion and optimized H_(2)o_(2)utilization,the optimal Fe–BioBr–2 catalyst showed an excellent atrazine removal efficiency of 97.61%in 120 min,which is superior than the traditional homogeneous Fenton and the majority of heterogeneous processes documented in the *** this photo–Fenton system,hydroxyl(·oH)and superoxide(·o_(2)^(-))radicals were dominant active species contributed to the oxidative degradation of *** to the production of various active radicals,five degradation pathways were proposed based on the identification of intermediates and degradation ***,this work not only demonstrates a fundamental insight into creating highly efficient and atom economic photo-Fenton systems,but also provides a complementary strategy for the treatment of organic pollutants in water.

With the loss of substantial natural wetlands in coastal zones,artificial wetlands provide alternative habitats for many *** management of artificial wetlands used by shorebirds plays an important role in maintaining the stability of shorebird *** tracking technique can obtain high-precision location information of individuals day and night,providing a good technical support for the study of quantitative relationship between waterfowls and their *** this study,satellite tracking method,Remote Sensing(RS)and geographic Information System(gIS)technology were used to analyze the activity pattern and habitat utilization characteristics of Pied Avocet during breeding period in an artificial wetland complex in the Yellow River Delta(YRD),*** results showed that the breeding Pied Avocets had a small range of activity,with a total core and main home range of 33.10 km^(2) and 216.30 km^(2),*** species tended to forage in the pond and salt pan during the day and night,respectively,with an unfixed staying time in the breeding *** distance between breeding ground and feeding ground was less than 6 *** is emphasized that in addition to improving the conditions of the remaining natural habitats,effective managing artificial habitats is a priority for shorebird *** research could provide reference for the management of artificial wetlands in coastal zones and supply technique support for the protection of shorebirds and their habitats,and alleviate human-bird conflicts and sustainable development of coastal zones.

Human normal flora is a source of *** safety characteristics of a specific isolate determine its application in foods or *** food-borne-pathogen antagonist strain Lactobacillus gasseri HMV18 is one of the isolates from normal human *** this work,we assessed the in vitro pH tolerance,bile tolerance,biogenic amine production,mucin utilization,and safety of in vivo administration to mice to evaluate general health,organ-body weight index,organ histopathological change,whether *** HMV18 can colonize in the gut or modulate the gut microbiota after oral *** results suggest that *** HMV18 can tolerate pH 3 for 2 h,3%bile for 3 h,biogenic amine negative,mucin usage negative,does not encode verified toxins,and cause no visible change in mice's *** HMV18 might not colonize in mice's gut,but can significantly affect the structure of gut microbiota.A bibliographical survey suggested that there were as few as 8 opportunistic infection cases from 1984 to 2022 and that the possibility for *** to cause infection is relatively ***,this work provides a basis for the foods or drugs application of *** HMV18 and gives a map of experiments for the safety assessment of probiotics.
