BACKGROUND Abdominal Clostridium perfringens(C. perfringens) gas gangrene is a rare infection that has been described in the literature as most frequently occurring in postoperative patients with open trauma. Intra-abdominal gas gangrene caused by *** infection after closed abdominal injury is extremely rare, difficult to diagnose, and progresses rapidly with high mortality risk. here, we report a case of C. perfringens infection caused by closed abdominal *** SUMMARY A 54-year-old male suffered multiple intestinal tears and necrosis after sustaining an injury caused by falling from a high height. These injuries and the subsequent necrosis resulted in intra-abdominal C. perfringens infection. In the first operation,we removed the necrotic intestinal segment, kept the abdomen open and covered the intestine with a Bogota bag. A vacuum sealing drainage system was used to cover the outer layer of the Bogota bag, and the drainage was flushed under negative pressure. The patient was transferred to the intensive care unit for supportive care and empirical antibiotic treatment. The antibiotics were not changed until the results of bacterial culture and drug susceptibility testing were *** consecutive operations were then performed due to secondary intestinal necrosis. After three definitive operations, the patient successfully survived the perioperative period. Unfortunately, he died of complications related to GuillainBarre syndrome 75 d after the first surgery. The development of energy storage systems in the future relies on identifying suitable target materials and synthesizing target materials with controllable physicochemical properties to unlock their electrochemical contributions. Based on the structure-property-performance relationship established in materials science, it is crucial to determine the fine structure of key functional materials. Among these materials, tunnel-structured β-FeOOH is widely studied due to its low-cost, decent performance and environmental friendliness; yet, its fine structure in terms of the atomic framework and surface configuration has not been well understood. In this work, we successfully synthesized β-FeOOH nanorods and analyzed their crystallographic features via transmission electron microscopy(TEM). By combining ultramicrotome and aberration-corrected scanning TEM with atomic resolution,we first experimentally revealed the structural details of β-FeOOH featuring 1 × 1 tunnels and 2 × 2 tunnels along the c-axis([001]), the same as the nanorod growth direction. The dominant exposed facets of β-FeOOH nanorods were further revealed to be {010}. Such fine structural elucidation unveils the long-existing mystery in this material system, which is expected to contribute to structural/compositional engineering toward functionality optimization in the near future.

目的探讨MRI不同序列及图像融合技术在复杂性肛瘘中的应用价值。方法回顾性收集2022年6月至2023年10月在本院收治的复杂性肛瘘患者50例病历资料,术前均进行3D-SPACE-STIR、3D-SPACE-T2WI序列扫描,并进行图像融合,比较不同序列及图像融合技术对括约肌、瘘管及分支、括约肌+瘘管及分支清晰度评分,以及不同序列及图像融合技术对肛瘘内口和瘘管及分支的检出率。结果对于括约肌、瘘管及分支、括约肌+瘘管及分支清晰度评分,不同序列及图像融合技术之间比较差异均有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论MRI不同序列及图像融合技术在复杂性肛瘘中诊断价值较高,具有较好的准确性。

Broadband electroluminescence based on environment-friendly emitters is promising for healthy lighting yet remains an unprecedented challenge to *** copper halide-based emitters are competitive candidates for broadband emission,but their high-performance electroluminescence shows inadequate broad emission bandwidth of less than 90 ***,we demonstrate efficient ultra-broadband electroluminescence from a copper halide(CuI)nanocluster single emitter prepared by a one-step solution synthesis-deposition process,through dedicated design of ligands and subtle selection of *** CuI nanocluster exhibits high rigidity in the excitation state as well as dual-emissive modes of phosphorescence and temperature-activated delayed fluorescence,enabling the uniform cluster-composed film to show excellent stability and high photoluminescent *** consequence,ultra-broadband light-emitting diodes(LEDs)present nearly identical performance in an inert or air atmosphere without encapsulation and outstanding high-temperature operation performance,reaching an emission full width at half maximum(FWHM)of~120 nm,a peak external quantum efficiency of 13%,a record maximum luminance of~50,000 cd m^(−2),and an operating half-lifetime of 137 h at 100 cd m^(−2).The results highlight the potential of copper halide nanoclusters for next-generation healthy lighting.

Disaster information content is an objective mapping of disaster situations,social response,and public *** response to emergency is an important mechanism for implementing and guaranteeing emergency management of major natural hazard-related *** how disaster information content affects social response to emergencies is helpful for managing risk communication and efficient disaster *** on the 2008 freezing-rain and snowstorm disasters in southern China,this study used Python to extract 7,857 case-related media reports and applied natural language processing for text *** used three typical cases to identify and analyze disaster media report content and the relationship between these reports and the social response to the *** categories of disaster response-such as prewarning and forecasting,announcements by the authorities,and social mobilization-appeared in the disaster information in the media,along with disaster impact information,that is,real-time disaster *** response information and an appropriate amount of disaster impact information played important roles in prewarning,disaster relief,public opinion guidance,and social stability maintenance and can serve important functions in communicating with all stakeholders of emergency management,assisting or influencing emergency departments or individuals in decision making,and eliminating "information islands." Empathy caused the general public to become "disaster responders" through receiving *** and an excess of negative information may have a perverse amplification effect on public opinion and increase the unpredictability of the disaster situation and the risk of social crisis.
