As an increasing penetration of renewable energy sources can potentially impact voltage profile and compromise system security,the security continues to be the most critical concern in power system operations.A risk-constrained stochastic scheduling model is proposed to leverage the latent scheduling capacity of a multi-energy system to seek an economic operation solution while maintaining system operation risk level against uncertain renewable *** risk constraints,as compared to the straightforward voltage boundary limits,are incorporated into the stochastic scheduling model to guarantee the operation security and *** AC power flow model is applied to enable overvoltage risk assessment within the coordinated scheduling *** proposed stochastic scheduling model is tackled via the improved progressive hedging approach with an enhanced relax-round-polish process,which overcomes the convergence issues of the traditional progressive hedging in handling nonconvex stochastic scheduling model with binary variables on both *** simulation results of IEEE 30-bus system and IEEE 118-bus system illustrate the efficacy of the proposed model in ensuring voltage security and improving economic operation of systems.

The rapid cleanup of heavy crude oil spills is challenging due to the poor mobility of highly viscous *** absorption strategies involve heating oils to a relatively high temperature to reduce their viscosity,but this method is ***,a solar-heated reduced graphene oxide(rGO)-wrapped melamine sponge(MS)was proposed to rapidly absorb *** prepared rGO-MS exhibited good hydrophobicity and oleophilicity and could be used for the rapid cleanup of oil spills from *** addition,the excellent photothermal conversion effect of rGO enabled the rGO-MS composite to achieve a solar energy absorption efficiency of 91%.Due to the localized solar energy collection and wetting properties of rGO-MS,viscous oil near the contact region was effectively heated,enabling rapid heavy oil recovery under solar light *** proposed solar heating-assisted viscous oil sorbent has great promise for use in heavy oil spill cleanups in the future.

Bismuth-based anode materials have been regarded as promising Li-ion batteries due to their high theoretical ***,their low conductivity and associated volume expansion inhabited their *** this work,Bi_(2)O_(2)CO_(3)@C composites were successfully synthesized by in situ anchoring of flower-like Bi_(2)O_(2)CO_(3) nanosheets on a carbon-based substrate via *** unique composited structure of Bi_2O_(2)-CO_(3)@C leads to a stable specific capacity of 547 mAh·g^(-1)after 100 cycles at a current density of 0.1 A·g^(-1).Notably,it demonstrates excellent rate capability with a specific capacity of 210 mAh·g^(-1)at 5 A·g^(-1).After 550 cycles at a current density of 0.5 A·g^(-1),a high reversible capacity of nearly 400 mAh·g^(-1)was ***,in situ X-ray diffraction measurements clearly demonstrate the conversion between Bi and Li_(3)Bi during alloying/dealloying,confirming the good electrochemical reversibility of the materials for Li *** reaction kinetics of Bi_(2)O_(2)CO_(3)@C were further investigated using galvanostatic intermittent titration ***,Bi_2O_(2)-CO_(3)@C exhibited excellent long-term stability,maintaining its high reversible capacity for over 200 cycles at a current density of 0.5 A·g^(-1)in a full cell configuration using Li_(1.20)Mn_(0.54)Ni_(0.13)Co_(0.13)O_(2) as the cathode *** result further underscores its promising potential for lithium-ion *** work may provide inspiration for the design of alloy-type negative electrode materials for high-performance rechargeable batteries.

Porous silicon nitride ceramics have attracted a considerable attention due to their excellent overall performance,but poor porosity homogeneity and structural shrinkage induced by prolonged high temperature sintering limit its further ***,as a three-in-one solution for the above issues,for the first time we develop a novel approach that integrates the merits of gelcasting-SHS(self-propagating high-temperature synthesis)to prepare porous Si_(3)N_(4)ceramics to simultaneously achieve high porosity,high strength,high toughness,and low thermal conductivity across a wide temperature *** regulating the solid content,porous Si_(3)N_(4)ceramics with homogeneous pore structure are obtained,where the pore size falls inbetween 1.61 and 4.41 pm,and the elongated grains are interlaced and interlocked to form micron-sized coherent interconnected *** the same time,porous Si_(3)N_(4)ceramics with porosity of 67.83%to 78.03%are obtained,where the compressive strength reaches 11.79 to 47.75 MPa and fracture toughness reaches 1.20 to 6.71 MPa-m1/2.

Ammonia is gaining increasing attention as a green alternative fuel for achieving large-scale carbon emission reduction. Despite its potential technical prospects, the harsh ignition conditions and slow flame propagation speed of ammonia pose significant challenges to its application in engines. Non-equilibrium plasma has been identified as a promising method, but current research on plasma-enhanced ammonia combustion is limited and primarily focuses on ignition characteristics revealed by kinetic models. In this study, low-temperature and low-pressure chemistry in plasma-assisted ammonia oxidative pyrolysis is investigated by integrated studies of steady-state GC measurements and mathematical simulation. The detailed kinetic mechanism of NH_(3) decomposition in plasma-driven Ar/NH_(3) and Ar/NH_(3)/O_(2) mixtures has been developed. The numerical model has good agreements with the experimental measurements in NH_(3)/O_(2) consumption and N_(2)/H_(2) generation, which demonstrates the rationality of modelling. Based on the modelling results, species density profiles, path flux and sensitivity analysis for the key plasmaproduced species such as NH_(2), NH, H_(2), OH, H, O, O(^(1)D), O_(2)(a^(1)△_(g)), O_(2)(b^(1)∑_(g)^(+)), Ar^(*), H^(-), Ar^(+), NH_(3)^(+), O_(2)^(-) in the discharge and afterglow are analyzed in detail to illustrate the effectiveness of the active species on NH_(3) excitation and decomposition at low temperature and relatively higher E/N values. The results revealed that NH_(2), NH, H as well as H_(2) are primarily generated through the electron collision reactions e + NH_(3)→ e + NH_(2)+ H, e + NH_(3)→ e + NH + H_(2) and the excited-argon collision reaction Ar^(*) + NH_(3)+ H → Ar + NH_(2)+ 2H, which will then react with highly reactive oxidative species such as O_(2)^(*), O^(*), O, OH, and O_(2) to produce stable products of NOx and H_(2)O. In practical applications, the measurement noise statistics is usually unknown or may change over time. However, most existing distributed filtering algorithms for sensor networks are constructed based on exact knowledge of measurement noise statistics. Therefore, under situations with measurement uncertainty, the existing algorithms may result in deteriorated performance. To solve such problems, a distributed adaptive cubature information filter based on variational Bayesian(VB-DACIF) is proposed here. Firstly,the predicted estimates of interest from inclusive neighbours are fused by minimizing the weighted KullbackLeibler average, in which the cubature rule is utilized to tackle system nonlinearity. Then, the free form variational Bayesian approximation is applied to recursively update both the local estimate and the precision matrices of sensing nodes. Finally, the posterior Cram′er-Rao lower bound is exploited to evaluate performance of the proposed VB-DACIF. Simulation results with a maneuvering target tracking scenario validates the feasibility and superiority of the proposed VB-DACIF.
