In-situ fluid phase behavior is important in determining hydrocarbon contents and the multiphase flow through shale *** gas-to-oil ratio(GOR) has been recognized as a critical indicator of fluid ***,little is known about the impact of fluid phase variation across the thermal maturity on shale oil/gas production(e.g.,estimated ultimate recovery,EUR).According to the specific gravity ratio of oil/gas,the producing GOR was converted and normalized into a mass fraction of gas in total hydrocarbons(MGOR) to compare North American shale oil/gas plays with Chinese shale oil and hybrid gas-condensate plays.A correlation between MGOR,the fluid phases,and production data was established to identify five phase stages of *** systematically with the different production zones,which shows promise in rapidly indicating the well production performance and high production stages of shale oil/gas *** hybrid shale gas condensate index,Tmax,and total gas contents were integrated to present the fluid types and maturity of shale gas-condensates,which indicates fluid phase and production variation across thermal *** results offer a unique perspective on the shale oil reservoir producibility based on the impact of GOR on fluid phases and EUR from the dominant global oil/gas plays.

Ordovician Carbonate Reservoir Bed Characteristics and Reservoir-Forming Conditions in the Lungudong Region of the Tarim Basin

Basic characteristics of Ordovician carbonate reservoir beds in the Lungudong region of northeastern part of the Tarim Basin are described in detail and the reservoir-forming conditions of oil and gas are preliminarily discussed in this paper by collecting and sorting out a large amount of data. The carbonate reservoir beds are mainly developed in open-platform and platform marginal facies; the reservoir beds have large changes in and low average values of physical property; the main type is fractured reservoir beds with the fracture-porous type second. The reservoir bed development is chiefly controlled by the distribution of sedimentary facies, tectonic activity and karstification. Whereas the accumulation and distribution of hydrocarbons in the region are controlled by an advantageous structural location, a good reservoir-caprock combination and a favorable transporting system, with the distribution characterized by zones horizontally and belts vertically, the oil and gas are mainly concentrated in areas with structural uplift, densely developed fractures, and surface karst, a vertical vadose zone, and a horizontal undercurrent belt of palaeokarst.

Logging Evaluation of the Ordovician Carbonate Reservoir Beds in the Lungudong Region,Tarim Basin

In recent years, great progress has been made constantly in oil and gas exploration in the Lungudong region of the Tarim Basin. However, progress has been slow in the evaluation of its main oil-producing horizons -- the Ordovician carbonate reservoir beds. Based on previous researches and on the various data such as drilling, geology and oil test, in combination with the interpretation of each single-well imaging and conventional logging data, and through analysis and comparison, the identification methods in imaging and conventional logging for four types of carbonate reservoir beds in this region are summarized in this paper. Calculation formulas for four reservoir bed parameters, i. e. shale content, porosity, permeability and oil saturation in this region are proposed; and reservoir beds in this region are divided into three levels （Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ） by combining oil test data and logging data, The lower limits of the effective porosity of reservoir beds and the fracture porosity of effective reservoir beds are determined as 1.8% and 0.04%, respectively. The physical property parameters are calculated by conventional logging curves, and the most advantageous areas for reservoir development are predicted comprehensively. On the plane, the high-value zones of reservoir bed parameters are mainly concentrated in the N-S-trending strike-slip fault, the Sangtamu fault horst zone and near the LG38 well area; vertically, the reservoir bed parameters of the Yijianfang Formation are better than those of the Yingshan and Lianglitage formations.

Large-scale exploration and development of shale gas in Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation of South China has been carried out in recent years,but the result is not good,only except some drilling wells in Jingyan-Qianwei area of Sichuan Basin and Yichang of Hubei obtain some commercial gas *** order to clarify reasons for failure of shale gas exploration and development in Niutitang Formation around Sichuan Basin and to provide reservoir geological parameters for subsequent efficient exploration and development,taking a case of shale gas reservoirs in Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation in northeast Chongqing around Sichuan Basin,some experimental methods,such as analysis of organic carbon pyrolysis,determination of equivalent vitrinite reflectance,focused ion beam scanning electron microscope(FIB-SEM)and other are adopted in this *** results show that the average TOC of shale samples in Niutitang Formation in northeast Chongqing is 3.1%,the equivalent vitrinite reflectance ranges from 3.0%to 4.0%,and the degree of thermal evolution reaches the post-matureemetamorphic *** to excessively high degree of the thermal evolution,organic pores in shale samples are not developed in Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation in the study area,instead,micro-nano pores dominated by intergranular pores and intragranular pores are developed in the *** degree of the thermal evolution controls the sustaining gas generation of kerogen and retained liquid hydrocarbons in the shale,it also controls the development of organic pores of the *** evolution of organic pores and hydrocarbon generation in the shale of Niutitang Formation in northeast Chongqing around Sichuan Basin do not match best with each other,that is,during development period of a large number of organic pores,thermal evolution degree of reservoirs is further enhanced because the strata are not uplifted in time,therefore,the quantity of organic pores is decreased sharply,the shale gas would be escape

Control of Formation of Lithological Reservoirs by Surrounding Mudstone

Taking the Jiyang depression as an example, this paper discusses the control of the formation of lithological reservoir by surrounding rocks by integrated application of geological analysis, physical simulation, and the analysis of oil ＆ gas accumulation mechanism. Geological statistical shows that the major burial depth and interval of lithological reservoirs in the Jiyang depression are related to the hydrocarbon generation in and expulsion from the Lower Tertiary source rocks and the time of the formation of most lithological reservoirs coincides with the peak of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion. The lithological traps located in the center of effective source rocks are propitious to high oil saturation than those located on the margin of effective source rocks. The hydrocarbon charge degree of the lithological reservoir has a positive correlation with the intensity of hydrocarbon expulsion from surrounding source rocks. Geological analyses and NMR experiments also show that the oil saturation of surrounding source rocks control the hydrocarbon potential of lithological traps, and a critical value for oil saturation of surrounding mudstone is required, that is, when the oil saturation of surrounding mudstone is lower than this critical value, no oil and gas accumulate in the lithological trap. The control of surrounding mudstone on the oil-bearing properties of lithological reservoirs is also analyzed by the mechanisms of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion as well as accumulation.

Characteristic of shale reservoir is important to the occurrences of shale gas, gas content and the exploitation （Chalmers and Bustin, 2008; Gasparik et al., 2013）. The lacustrine shale at oil window stage is quite different from marine shale. This study use quantities of testing data from cores and outcrops from the basin edge to analyze the reservoir characteristics in Lacustrine Shale of Middle Jurassic, North Qaidam Basin, and establish evaluation system to evaluate the shale in study area, which provide geological evidence for shale gas exploration and development, and improve the geological theories.

Influence of Ru Level on Microstructural Stability and Creep Rupture Property of DD15 Alloy

A fourth generation single crystal (SC) nickel based cast superalloy DD15 with 1%Ru， 3%Ru， 5%Ru was prepared using vacuum induction single crystal furnace in order to optimize the properties and cost of DD15 alloy. The exposure experiment of three alloys was conducted at 1100 ℃ for 1000 h. The stress rupture properties tests were performed at 1100 ℃ temperature and 137 MPa pressure. The composition optimization of Ru element in DD15 alloy had been studied. It was found that the alloys with different Ru contents all consist of cuboidal γ′ phase embedded coherent in γ phase. The γ′ phase of the alloy all has a size of about 300-500 nm and a volume content of more than sixty percent. The dimension of γ′ precipitates is reduced and uniform with increase of Ru content. Ru element can reduce the distribution ratio of high melting point element， so the microstructural stability is enhanced with Ru content increasing. No topologically close-packed (TCP) phase precipitated in the 5% Ru alloy even after 1000 h exposure. The creep rupture life of the alloy is significantly improved as Ru content rising. The raft breadth decreases slightly as Ru content increases. The specimen with 1% Ru and 3% Ru exhibits the presence of TCP phases and without TCP phases precipitated in fracture specimen with 5% Ru. The density and integrity of γ/γ′ interfacial dislocation network increas as Ru content of the alloy rises.

Geochemistry of source rocks in the Es_3 and Es_4 members in the Shahejie Formation of the Western Depression, Liaohe Oilfield, China

The Western Depression of the Liaohe Basin is the major exploration area of the Liaohe Oilfield, and its main source rocks consist of the third and fourth members of the Shahejie Formation (Es3 and Es4). These source rocks are widely distributed in the depression, with semi-deep lake and fan delta as the main sedimentary facies, brown oil shale and black gray-dark gray mudstone as the main rocks, and a total thickness of 270-1450 m. The kerogens are mainly of the types I and IIA, and partly of the type IIB and least of the type III. The Ro values range from 0.4%-0.8%, indicating an evolution stage from immature to mature. The maturity of Es4 source rocks is rela-tively high, reaching the early mature stage, but their distribution and thickness are lower than those of Es3. Besides, according to biomarker analysis, it is thought that the source rocks of Es3 and Es4 are characterized by mixed input, and most of the source rocks were formed in the brackish water-saline and strongly oxygen-free environment. Fur-thermore, the Qingshui, Niuxintuo and Chenjia sags are believed to possess greater potential for hydrocarbon gen-eration and expulsion, for they are source rocks with a larger thickness, have higher organic carbon contents, belong to better organic matter types and possess higher maturities.

Enrichment of tight oil and its controlling factors in central and western China

Taking the tight oil of the Zhongnan sag in the Ordos Basin,Jimusar sag in the Junggar Basin and Qingxi sag in the Jiuquan Basin as study objects,based on field survey,dissection of tight oil reservoirs,sample test,modeling experiment and comprehensive analysis,this study reveals that the tight oil accumulates at start-up pressure,advances under differential pressure,diffuses at alternating fast and low speeds,charges in stepped large area and migrates rapidly through fractures,and enriches in dominant fractures and *** root cause of ladder-like charge is the multiple scales of *** widespread source rock with high hydrocarbon generation intensity is the material basis for tight oil enrichment;the dominant source reservoir assemblage is the basic unit for tight oil enrichment;fractures and beddings are conducive to local rapid migration of tight oil;fractures and pores work together to control the enrichment of tight *** typical accumulation models of tight oil are established,namely"source reservoir in coexistence,four optimal factors controlling enrichment around central area,and large-scale continuous distribution"for a large freshwater lake clastic rock basin and"source reservoir integration,four optimal factors controlling enrichment,central area distribution,small in size but high in enrichment degree"for a small saline lake diamictite depression.

Effect of long term aging on microstructure and stress rupture properties of a nickel based single crystal superalloy

A nickel based single crystal superalloy with [001] orientation was prepared by the screw selecting method in the directionally solidified *** long term aging(LTA) of the alloy after full heat treatment was performed at 1040℃ for 200-800 *** microstructure and stress rupture properties at 980℃/250 MPa and 1070℃/140 MPa of the alloy long term aged(LTAed) for different time were *** coarsening γ’ phase and the broadening g matrix channel are observed in the samples LTAed at 1040℃,but the γ’ morphology is still in cubic shape after LTA for 800 *** TCP phase precipitates after LTA for 400 h,while needle shaped and granular TCP phase forms in dendritic core of the alloy after LTA for 600 *** increasing aging time,the volume of the TCP phase increases and it grows from the dendritic core to the interdendritic region along a fixed *** composition of the TCP phase is mainly composed of Re and *** increasing aging time the rupture life of the alloy at 980℃/250 MPa and 1070℃/140 MPa all turns ***,the relationship between the microstructure and the stress rupture properties is discussed.
