The Effects of the Chemical Components of Soil Salinity on Electrical Conductivity in the Region of the Delta Oasis of Weigan and Kuqa Rivers,China

In order to assess the effects of chemical properties of soil salinity on electrical conductivity of 1：5 soil/water extract （EC1：5）, the study focused on revealing the main chemical factors contributing to EC of soil extracts and their relative importance. The relationship between EC1：5 and the chemical properties of soil salinity in the delta oasis of Weigan and Kuqa rivers, China, were studied using path coefficient analysis, a path analysis method. We studied each key element affecting EC1：5 either directly or indirectly. The results obtained show that the salt content, total dissolved solids （TDS）, and the sum of the sodium ion concentration and the kalium ion concentration are the most influential factors on 1：5 soil/ water extract （EC1：5） in the 0-10 cm and the 30-50 cm soil layer. The results show that the sequence of direct path coefficients in the 0-10 cm and the 30-50 cm soil layers on soil conductivity is TDS→Na^＋＋ K^＋→Salt content→Ca^2＋→Cl-→the sodium dianion ratio （SDR）→pH→ SO4^2-→HCO3^-→Mg^2＋→the soluble sodium percentage （SSP） sodium absorption ratio （SAR） and TDS→Salt content→Na^＋＋ K^＋→Ca^2＋→SDR→Mg^2＋→HCO3^-→SSP→pH→SO4^2-→SAR→Cl^-. The salt content, chlorine ion, and SAR are the main factors affecting 1：5 soil/water extract （EC1：5） in the 10-30 centimeter soil layer. The order of direct path coefficients result is as follows： Salt content→Cl^-→SAR→SSP→TDS→Ca^2＋→Mg^2＋= SO4^2-→HCO3^-→pH→SDR→Na^- ＋ K^＋. Moreover, the effects of HCO3^-, pH were very weak. Though the direct path coefficients between EC1：5 and SAR, SO4^2- and Ca^2＋ were not high, influence of other chemical factors caused the coefficients to increase, making the summation of their direct and indirect path coefficients relatively high. The models of the different soil layers were structured separately. Evidences showed that multiple regression relations between EC1：5 and most of the primary factors had sound reliability and very good accuracy. The research results can serve as a reference

Electrochemical synthesis of trimetallic nickel-iron-copper nanoparticles via potential-cycling for high current density anion exchange membrane water-splitting applications

Hydrogen is known for its elevated energy density and environmental compatibility and is a promising alternative to fossil *** water electrolysis utilizing renewable energy sources has emerged as a means to obtain high-purity ***,electrocatalysts used in the process are fabricated using conventional wet chemical synthesis methods,such as sol-gel,hydrothermal,or surfactantassisted approaches,which often necessitate intricate pretreatment procedures and are vulnerable to post-treatment ***,this study introduces a streamlined and environmentally conscious one-step potential-cycling approach to generate a highly efficient trimetallic nickel-iron-copper electrocatalyst in situ on nickel *** synthesized material exhibited remarkable performance,requiring a mere 476 mV to drive electrochemical water splitting at 100 mA cm^(-2)current density in alkaline ***,this material was integrated into an anion exchange membrane watersplitting device and achieved an exceptionally high current density of 1 A cm^(-2)at a low cell voltage of2.13 V,outperforming the noble-metal benchmark(2.51 V).Additionally,ex situ characterizations were employed to detect transformations in the active sites during the catalytic process,revealing the structural transformations and providing inspiration for further design of electrocatalysts.

Interaction between ozone and paternal smoking on fetal congenital heart defects among pregnant women at high risk a multicenter maternal-fetal medicine study

Background Evidence remains limited on the association between maternal ozone(O,)exposure and congenital heart defects(CHDs)in offspring,and few studies have investigated the interaction and modification of paternal smoking on this *** Using a sample including pregnant women at high risk of fetal CHD(with metabolic disease,first-trimester viral infection,family history of CHD,etc.)from a maternal-fetal medicine study covering 1313 referral hospitals in China during 2013-2021,we examined the associations between maternal O_(3)exposure during 3-8 weeks of gestational age and fetal CHD in offspring and investigated the interaction and modification of paternal smoking on this *** was diagnosed by fetal echocardiograms,maximum daily 8-hour average O,exposure data at a 10 km×10 km spatial resolution came from the Tracking Air Pollution in China dataset,and paternal smoking was collected using *** regression models were used to estimate adjusted odds ratios(ORs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs).Results Among 27,834 pregnant women at high risk of fetal CHD,17.4%of fetuses were diagnosed with *** 10μg/m^(3)increase in maternal O_(3)exposure was associated with a 17%increased risk of CHD in offspring(OR=1.17,95%CI=1.14-1.20).Compared with paternal nonsmoking and maternal low O_(3)exposure,the ORs(95%CI)of CHD for smoking and low O_(3)exposure,nonsmoking and high O_(3)exposure,and smoking and high O_(3)exposure were 1.25(1.08-1.45),1.81(1.56-2.08),and 2.23(1.84-2.71),*** smoking cessation seemingly mitigated the increased risk of *** Maternal O_(3)exposure and paternal smoking were interactively associated with an increased risk of fetal CHD in offspring,which calls for effective measures to decrease maternal exposure to O_(3)pollution and secondhand smoke for CHDprevention.

BACKGROUND The specific benefits of Yangxinshi tablet(YXST)in the treating chronic heart failure(CHF)remain *** To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of YXST in the treatment of *** Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)investigating YXST for CHF treatment were retrieved from eight public databases up to November ***-analyses of the included clinical studies were conducted using Review Manager *** Twenty RCTs and 1845 patients were *** meta-analysis results showed that the YXST combination group,compared to the conventional drug group,significantly increased the clinical efficacy rate by 23%[relative risk(RR)=1.23,95%CI:1.17-1.29],(Pher group reported any serious adverse events during treatment(RR=0.54,95%CI:0.15-1.90,P=0.33).In addition,Egger's test results indicated no significant publication bias(P=0.557).CONCLUSION YXST effectively improves clinical symptoms and cardiac function in patients with CHF while maintaining a favorable safety profile,suggesting its potential as a therapeutic strategy for CHF.

Seafloor topography plays an important role in the evolution of submarine ***,it is still not so clear how the shape of slope affects the three-dimensional(3-D)architecture of submarine *** this study,we analyze the effect of topography factors on different hierarchical lobe architectures that formed during Pliocene to Quaternary in the Rovuma Basin offshore East *** characterize the shape,size and growth pattern of different hierarchical lobe architectures using 3-D seismic *** find that the relief of the topographic slope determines the location of preferential deposition of lobe complexes and single *** the topography is irregular and presents topographic lows,lobe complexes first infill these *** lobes are deposited preferentially at positions with higher longitudinal(***-slope)slope *** the longitudinal slope becomes higher,the aspect ratio of the single lobes ***(***-slope)topography does not seem to have a strong influence on the shape of single lobe,but it seems to affect the overlap of single *** the lateral slope gradient is relatively high,the single lobes tend to have a larger overlap ***,as the average of lateral slope and longitudinal slope gets greater,the width/thickness ratio of the single lobe is smaller,*** tend to accumulate *** results demonstrate that the shape of slopes more comprehensively influences the 3-D architecture of lobes in natural deep-sea systems than previously other lobe deposits and analogue experiments,which helps us better understand the development and evolution of the distal parts of turbidite systems.

The titanium alloys with highly chemical activity require stable crucible refractories that can withstand the erosion of alloy *** phase composition and microstructure are crucial factors that affect the stability of the refractory *** effect of Y_(2)O_(3) on the composition and microstructure of BaZrO_(3) crucible was systematically investigated,and the improved mechanism of the stability of BaZrO_(3)/Y_(2)O_(3) crucible was clarified in comparison with the BaZrO_(3) *** results showed that the erosion layer thickness of the BaZrO_(3)/Y_(2)O_(3) crucible was only 63μm,which was far less than that in the BaZrO_(3) crucible(485μm),and the erosion layer in the BaZrO_(3)/Y_(2)O_(3) crucible also exhibited a higher density than that in the BaZrO_(3) *** the sintering,Y_(2)O_(3) could improve the densification of the BaZrO_(3) crucible due to the solid solution effect between Y_(2)O_(3) and ZrO_(2),which also caused the evaporation of BaO,resulting in the generation of a Y_(2)O_(3)(ZrO_(2))film on the surface of the ***,the Y_(2)O_(3)(ZrO_(2))had higher thermodynamic stability than Y_(2)O_(3),confirming that the BaZrO_(3)/Y_(2)O_(3) crucible with high density exhibited a superior erosion resistance to titanium *** dual-phase structure provides a strategy to design a long-life and stable refractory for melting titanium alloys.

Enhancing Evolutionary Algorithms With Pattern Mining for Sparse Large-Scale Multi-Objective Optimization Problems

Sparse large-scale multi-objective optimization problems(SLMOPs)are common in science and ***,the large-scale problem represents the high dimensionality of the decision space,requiring algorithms to traverse vast expanse with limited computational ***,in the context of sparse,most variables in Pareto optimal solutions are zero,making it difficult for algorithms to identify non-zero variables *** paper is dedicated to addressing the challenges posed by *** start,we introduce innovative objective functions customized to mine maximum and minimum candidate *** substantial enhancement dramatically improves the efficacy of frequent pattern *** this way,selecting candidate sets is no longer based on the quantity of nonzero variables they contain but on a higher proportion of nonzero variables within specific ***,we unveil a novel approach to association rule mining,which delves into the intricate relationships between non-zero *** novel methodology aids in identifying sparse distributions that can potentially expedite reductions in the objective function *** extensively tested our algorithm across eight benchmark problems and four real-world *** results demonstrate that our approach achieves competitive solutions across various challenges.

A Two-Layer Encoding Learning Swarm Optimizer Based on Frequent Itemsets for Sparse Large-Scale Multi-Objective Optimization
