In the recent years,the so-called.Morrey smoothness spaces attracted.a lot of *** can(also)be und.rstood.as generalisations of the classical spaces A_(p,q)^(s)(R^(n))with A∈{B,F}in R^(n),where the parameters satisfy s∈R(smoothness),0d.0d.itional parameters are *** our opinion,among the various approaches at least two scales enjoy special attention,also in view of applications:the scales A_(p,q)^(s)(R^(n))with A∈{N,E}and.u≥p,and.A_(p,q)^(s),τ(R^(n))with A∈{B,F}and.≥*** reorganise these two prominent types of Morrey smoothness spaces by ad.ing to(s,p,q)the so-called.slope parameter e,preferably(but not exclusively)with-n ed.min(|e|,1)replaces 1 in slopes of(broken)lines in the(1/p,s)-d.agram characterising d.stinguished.properties of the spaces A_(p,q)^(s)(R^(n))and.their Morrey *** attention will be paid.to low-slope spaces with-1d.ng properties are quite often ind.pend.nt of n∈*** aim is *** the one hand.we reformulate some assertions alread. available in the literature(many of which are quite recent).On the other hand.we establish on this basis new properties,a few of which become visible only in the context of the offered.new approach,governed.now,by the four parameters(s,p,q,e).

Abstract We stud. smoothness spaces of Morrey type on Rn and.characterise in d.tail those situa s,r n s n tions when such spaces of type Ap,q^s,r（Rn ） or A u^sp,q（R ） are not embed.ed.into L∞（R^n）. We can show that in the so-called.sub-critical, proper Morrey case their growth envelope function is always infinite which is a much stronger assertion. The same applies for the Morrey spaces Mu,p（Rn） with p 〈 u. This is the first result in this d.rection and.essentially contributes to a better und.rstand.ng of the structure of the above spaces.

In recent years, the harmful effects of blue light (400 - 500 nm) as a component of visible light (400 - 700 nm) have increasingly gained.attention of science, ind.stry, and.consumers. To d.te, only a few in vivo test method. for measuring the effects of blue light on the skin have been d.scribed. A d.rect measurement method.that can d.tect the immed.ate effects of blue light on the epid.rmal permeability barrier (EPB) is still lacking. In this stud., we present a new method.logical approach that can be used.to investigate both the protective and.regenerative effects of cosmetic prod.cts on the EPB after blue light irrad.ation. In a stud. with 14 female volunteers, it was investigated.whether the regular application of an O/W emulsion (d.y cream) can strengthen and.protect the epid.rmal barrier against d.maging blue light rad.ation of 60 J/cm2 (protective stud. d.sign) and.also whether a d.sruption of the epid.rmal barrier caused.by blue light rad.ation is restored.faster and.better by the regular application of another O/W emulsion (night cream) than in prod.ct-untreated.skin (regenerative stud. d.sign). The two O/W emulsions are d.fferent in plant oil, active ingred.ent composition and.texture. The seven-d.y treatment with the d.y cream initially led.to a significant increase in the normalized.lipid.lamellae length in the intercellular space, whereas the irrad.ation with blue light after 24 hours led.to a significant d.crease in the lipid.lamellae length in the untreated.test area, but not in the area previously treated.with the prod.ct. Regard.ng the regenerative stud. d.sign, a two-d.y treatment with the night cream was able to restore a blue-light-ind.ced.d.crease in lipid.lamellae length in the intercellular space. In summary, with the stud. d.signs presented.here, the protective and.regenerative effect of two cosmetic prod.cts could.be d.monstrated.for the first time on the integrity of the EPB after blue light irrad.ation and.the d.ta showed.that the Lipbarv

Fluorescent reporter proteins that allow repeated.switching between a fluorescent and.a non-fluorescent state in response to specific wavelengths of light are novel tools for monitoring of protein trafficking and.super-resolu- tion fluorescence microscopy in living organisms. Here, we d.scribe variants of the reversibly photoswitchable fluores- cent proteins rsFastLime, bsd.onpa, and.Pad.on that have been cod.n-optimized.for the use in transgenic Arabid.psis plants. The synthetic proteins, d.signated.rsFastLIME-s, bsd.ONPA-s, and.PAd.ON C-s, showed.photophysical properties and.switching behavior comparable to those reported.for the original proteins. By combining the ＇positively switchable＇ PAd.ON C-s with the ＇negatively switchable＇ rsFastLIME-s or bsd.ONPA-s, two d.fferent fluorescent reporter proteins could.be imaged.at the same wavelength upon transient expression in Nicotiana benthamiana cells. Thus, co-localiza- tion analysis can be performed.using only a single d.tection channel. Furthermore, the proteins were used.to tag the RNA-bind.ng protein AtGRP7 （Arabid.psis thaliana glycine-rich RNA-bind.ng protein 7） in transgenic Arabid.psis plants. Because the new reversibly photoswitchable fluorescent proteins show an increase in signal strength d.ring each pho- toactivation cycle, we were able to generate a large number of scans of the same region and.reconstruct 3-d.images of AtGRP7 expression in the root tip. Upon photoactivation of the AtGRP7：rsFastLIME-s fusion protein in a d.fined.region of a transgenic Arabid.psis root, spread.ng of the fluorescence signal into ad.acent regions was observed. ind.cating that movement from cell to cell can be monitored. Our results d.monstrate that rsFastLIME-s, bsd.ONPA-s, and.PAd.ON C-s are versatile fluorescent markers in plants, Furthermore, the proteins also show strong fluorescence in mammalian cells includ.ng COS-7 and.HeLa cells.
