Objective: To investigate the effect and potential mechanism of dihydromyricetin(Dmy) on H9C2 cell proliferation, apoptosis, and autophagy. Methods: H9C2 cells were randomly divided into 7 groups, namely control, model, EV(empty p CDH-CMV-MCS-EF1-Cop GFP-T2A-Puro vector), IV(circHIPK3 interference), Dmy(50 μmol/L), Dmy+IV, and Dmy+EV groups. Cell proliferation and apoptosis were detected by cell counting kit-8 assay and flow cytometry, respectivley. Western blot was used to evaluate the levels of light chain 3 Ⅱ/Ⅰ(LC3Ⅱ/Ⅰ), phospho-phosphoinositide 3-kinase(p-PI3K), protein kinase B(p-AKT), and phospho-mammalian target of rapamycin(p-mTOR). The level of circHIPK3 was determined using reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction. Electron microscopy was used to observe autophagosomes in H9C2 cells. Results: Compared to H9C2 cells, the expression of circHIPK in H9C2 hypoxia model cells increased significantly(Phanism may be related to PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway.

Although rare earth zirconates(RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7))have garnered attention as viable candidates for thermal barrier coatings(TBCs),they suffer from low fracture toughness and accelerated calcium–magnesium–alumina–silicate(CMAS)melt corrosion at high service temperatures,which impedes their practical *** this work,we developed a series of REAlO_(3)/RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)(RE=La,Nd,Sm,Eu,Gd,and Dy)composites with a eutectic composition that not only significantly enhanced the fracture toughness by more than 40%relative to that of RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)but also exhibited improved resistance to CMAS *** increase in toughness arises from multiple mechanisms,such as ferroelastic toughening,fine-grain strengthening,and residual stress toughening,all of which trigger more crack defects and energy ***,the CMAS penetration depth of the REAlO_(3)/RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)composites is approximately 36%lower than that of RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7).Al–O constituents in composites can capture CaO,SiO_(2),and MgO in CMAS melts and increase their viscosity,resulting in enhanced CMAS corrosion *** thermophysical properties of the REAlO_(3)/RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)composites were also investigated,and their coefficient of thermal expansion and thermal conductivity are comparable to those of 7–8 wt%Y_(2)O_(3)partially stabilized ZrO2(YSZ),indicating their potential as TBC materials.

Tunable lasers,with the ability to continuously vary their emission wavelengths,have found widespread applications across various fields such as biomedical imaging,coherent ranging,optical communications,and *** these applications,a wide chirp range is advantageous for large spectral coverage and high frequency ***,the frequency accuracy and precision also depend critically on the chirp linearity of the *** extensive efforts have been made on the development of many kinds of frequency-agile,widely tunable,narrow-linewidth lasers,wideband yet precise methods to characterize and linearize laser chirp dynamics are also *** we present an approach to characterize laser chirp dynamics using an optical frequency *** instantaneous laser frequency is tracked over terahertz bandwidth at 1 MHz *** this approach we calibrate the chirp performance of 12 tunable lasers from Toptica,Santec,New Focus,EXFO,and NKT that are commonly used in fiber optics and integrated *** addition,with acquired knowledge of laser chirp dynamics,we demonstrate a simple frequency-linearization scheme that enables coherent ranging without any optical or electronic linearization *** approach not only presents novel wideband,highresolution laser spectroscopy,but is also critical for sensing applications with ever-increasing requirements on performance.

With graphite currently leading as the most viable anode for potassium-ion batteries(KIBs),other materials have been left relatively *** metal oxides are among these,with many positive attributes such as synthetic maturity,longterm cycling stability and fast redox ***,to address this research deficiency we report herein a layered potassium titanium niobate KTiNbO5(KTNO)and its rGO nanocomposite(KTNO/rGO)synthesised via solvothermal methods as a high-performance anode for *** effective distribution across the electrically conductive rGO,the electrochemical performance of the KTNO nanoparticles was *** potassium storage performance of the KTNO/rGO was demonstrated by its first charge capacity of 128.1 mAh g^(−1) and reversible capacity of 97.5 mAh g^(−1) after 500 cycles at 20 mA g^(−1),retaining 76.1%of the initial capacity,with an exceptional rate performance of 54.2 mAh g^(−1)at 1 A g^(−1).Furthermore,to investigate the attributes of KTNO in-situ XRD was performed,indicating a low-strain ***-situ X-ray photoelectron spectra further investigated the mechanism of charge storage,with the titanium showing greater redox reversibility than the *** work suggests this lowstrain nature is a highly advantageous property and well worth regarding KTNO as a promising anode for future high-performance KIBs.

The widespread adoption of lithium-ion batteries has been driven by the proliferation of portable electronic devices and electric vehicles,which have increasingly stringent energy density *** metal batteries(LMBs),with their ultralow reduction potential and high theoretical capacity,are widely regarded as the most promising technical pathway for achieving high energy density *** this review,we provide a comprehensive overview of fundamental issues related to high reactivity and migrated interfaces in ***,we propose improved strategies involving interface engineering,3D current collector design,electrolyte optimization,separator modification,application of alloyed anodes,and external field regulation to address these *** utilization of solid-state electrolytes can significantly enhance the safety of LMBs and represents the only viable approach for advancing *** review also encompasses the variation in fundamental issues and design strategies for the transition from liquid to solid *** noteworthy is that the introduction of SSEs will exacerbate differences in electrochemical and mechanical properties at the interface,leading to increased interface inhomogeneity—a critical factor contributing to failure in all-solidstate lithium metal *** on recent research works,this perspective highlights the current status of research on developing high-performance LMBs.

Background： The pathogenesis of some types ofpreeclampsia is related to fatty acid oxidation disorders. Rapamycin can regulate fatty acid metabolism. This study aimed to investigate the effects of rapamycin on the clinical manifestations and blood lipid parameters in different preeclampsia-like mouse models. Methods： Two preeclampsia-like mouse models and a control group were established： L-NA （injected with Nco-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester）, LPS （injected with lipopolysaccharide）, and the control group with normal saline （NS）. The mouse models were established at preimplantation （PI）, early- and late-pregnancy （EP, LP） according to the time of pregnancy. The administration of rapamycin （RA; L-NA＋RA. LPS＋RA, and NS＋RA） or vehicle as controls （C; L-NA＋C, LPS＋C, NS＋C） were followed on the 2^nd day after the mouse models＇ establishment, Each subgroup consisted of eight pregnant mice. The mean arterial pressure （MAP）, 24-h urinary protein, blood lipid, fetus, and placental weight were measured. The histopathological changes and lipid deposition of the liver and placenta were observed. Student＇s t-test was used for comparing two groups. Repeated measures analysis of variance was used for blood pressure analysis. Qualitative data were compared by Chi-square test. Results： The MAP and 24-h urinary protein in the PI, EP, and LP subgroups of the L-NA＋C and LPS＋C groups were significantly higher compared with the respective variables in the NS＋C group （P 〈 0.05）. The preeclampsia-like mouse models were established successfully. There was no significant difference in the MAP between the PI, EP, and LP subgroups of the L-NA＋RA and L-NA＋C groups and the LPS＋RA and LPS＋C groups. The 24-h urine protein levels in the PI and EP subgroups of the L-NA＋RA group were significantly lower compared with the respective levels in the L-NA＋C groups （1037 ± 63 vs. 2127± 593 μg; 976 ±42 vs. 1238 ±72 μg; both P 〈 0.05）, also this effect appeared similar in the PI and EP subgroups of the LPS＋RA

Jetting of a near-wall cavitation bubble induced by another tandem bubble

Double bubbles near a rigid wall surface collapse to produce a significant jet impact,with potential applications in surface cleaning and ultrasonic ***,the dynamic behaviors of near-wall bubbles remain *** this study,we investigate the jetting of a near-wall bubble induced by another tandem *** define two dimensionless standoff distances,γ_(1),γ_(2),to represent the distances from the center of the near-wall bubble to the rigid wall and the center of controlling bubble to the center of the near-wall bubble,*** observations reveal three distinct jetting regimes for the near-wall bubble:transferred jetting,double jetting,and directed *** further investigate the jetting mechanism,numerical simulations are conducted using the compressibleInterFoam solver in the open-source framework of OpenFOAM.A detailed analysis shows that the transferred jet flow is caused by the pinch-off resulting from the axial contraction velocity at the lower end of the near-wall bubble being greater than the vertical contraction velocity,leading to a maximum jet velocity of 682.58 m/*** the case of double jetting,intense stretching between the controlling bubble and the wall leads to a pinch-off and a double jetting with a maximum velocity of 1096.29 m/*** directed jet flow is caused by the downward movement of the high-pressure region generated by the premature collapse of the controlling bubble,with the maximum jet velocity reaching 444.62 m/s.

Detachment Behavior of Gecko Toe in Functional Strategies for Bionic Toe

Geckos can efficiently navigate complex terrains due to their multi-level adhesive system that is present on their *** setae are responsible for the gecko’s extraordinary adhesion and have garnered wide attention from the scientific *** majority of the reported works in the literature that have dealt with the peeling models mainly focus on the gecko hierarchical adhesive system,with limited attention given to investigating the influence of gecko toe structure on the *** these lines,to gain a deeper understanding of the rapid and effortless detachment abilities of gecko toes,the peeling behavior of gecko toes on vertical surfaces was primarily investigated in this *** specifically,the detachment time of a single toe on a smooth acrylic plate was measured to be 0.41±0.21 ***,it was observed that the toe assumed a"U"-shaped structure upon complete ***,Finite Element Analysis(FEA)models for three different types of gecko toes were developed to simulate both the displacement-peel and the moment-peel *** the segmentation of the adhesive layer led to a gradual decrease in the resultant force,as well as the normal and tangential ***,a gecko-inspired toe model was constructed and powered by Shape Memory Alloy(SMA).A systematic comparison between the vertical drag separation and the outward flip separation was also *** our analysis,it was clearly demonstrated that outward peel separation significantly necessitated the reduction of the peeling force,thus confirming the advantageous nature of the outward motion in gecko toe *** data not only contribute to a deeper understanding of the gecko detachment behavior but also offer valuable insights for the advancement of the wall-climbing robot feet.
