Safflower Yellow Inhibits Progression of Hepatocellular Carcinoma by Modulating Immunological Tolerance via FAK Pathway

Anomalous quality factor evolution of induced transparency in a virtualized coupled-oscillator system

The phenomenon of induced transparency,characterized by a high quality(Q)factor,holds significant importance in the fields of high-precision sensing,energy storage and wave *** transparency systems are often constrained by the limited experimentally accessible parameter space and the lack of independent control over intrinsic parameters,thereby hindering advanced research on high-Q *** we propose a virtualized coupled-oscillator system that enables reconfigurable induced transparency in the reflection *** virtually incorporating a pair of coupled oscillators into an individual acoustic meta-atom,we achieve the manipulation of induced transparency in a decoupled,wide-ranging,and elaborate *** the diverse evolutions across the intrinsic parameter space,we show experimentally a counter-intuitive increase in the Q-factor of the transparency window,which is attributed to the enhanced dissipation of the bright ***,a constant group delay at the center frequency is observed accompanying this *** work demonstrates an intriguing platform as well as a novel strategy to engineer high-Q induced transparency phenomenon,and paves the way towards applications in programmable acoustic sensors,filters and slow-wave devices.

Use of forestry waste as an alternative raw material for generating metallurgical coke

Forestry waste(FW)is a significant renewable energy source in *** substitution of coal blends(BC)with forestry waste to produce metallurgical coke was investigated aiming at expanding alternative resources and reducing CO_(2)emissions in ironmaking *** BC with different ratios of FW were carbonized in a fixed bed reactor,and the physicochemical structure of the coke derived from FW/BC co-carbonization was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,solid-state^(13)C nuclear magnetic resonance,optical microscopy,and scanning electron *** results reveal that the suitable incorporation of FW in BC is 10 wt.%,and the index of coke quality exhibits a good correlation with the optical anisotropy index and the aromaticity of the as-obtained *** partial substitution of BC with FW exhibits potential benefits for colloid formation,owing to the higher hydrogen in ***,as the substitution ratio of BC with FW increases,it inhibits coke agglomeration due to more tortuous stacked structures formation during volatile releasing ***,it was identified that the substitution of higher BC ratios with FW results in the partial replacement of aromatic carbons by oxygenlinked carbons and aliphatic *** substitution leads to a reduction in the aromaticity of the as-obtained coke.

The coupled DBR LED with one DBR for reflecting normal incidence light and the other for reflecting inclined incidence light has been grown by MOCVD. For improving the conventional DBR which was used to increase light extraction efficiency in AIG-alnP red light LED is analyzed. At 20 mADc injection current, the LED peak wave length is 630 nm, and the light intensity of on axis is 137 mcd. The output light power is 2.32 mW. The light intensity and output light power have been improved compared with the conventional LEDs.

A Generative Adversarial Network with an Attention Spatiotemporal Mechanism for Tropical Cyclone Forecasts

Tropical cyclones(TCs)are complex and powerful weather systems,and accurately forecasting their path,structure,and intensity remains a critical focus and challenge in meteorological *** this paper,we propose an Attention Spatio-Temporal predictive Generative Adversarial Network(AST-GAN)model for predicting the temporal and spatial distribution of *** model forecasts the spatial distribution of TC wind speeds for the next 15 hours at 3-hour intervals,emphasizing the cyclone's center,high wind-speed areas,and its asymmetric *** effectively capture spatiotemporal feature transfer at different time steps,we employ a channel attention mechanism for feature selection,enhancing model performance and reducing parameter *** utilized High-Resolution Weather Research and Forecasting(HWRF)data to train our model,allowing it to assimilate a wide range of TC motion *** model is versatile and can be applied to various complex scenarios,such as multiple TCs moving simultaneously or TCs approaching *** proposed model demonstrates superior forecasting performance,achieving a root-mean-square error(RMSE)of 0.71 m s^(-1)for overall wind speed and 2.74 m s^(-1)for maximum wind speed when benchmarked against ground truth data from ***,the model underwent optimization and independent testing using ERA5reanalysis data,showcasing its stability and *** fine-tuning on the ERA5 dataset,the model achieved an RMSE of 1.33 m s^(-1)for wind speed and 1.75 m s^(-1)for maximum wind *** AST-GAN model outperforms other state-of-the-art models in RMSE on both the HWRF and ERA5 datasets,maintaining its superior performance and demonstrating its effectiveness for spatiotemporal prediction of TCs.

Effects of growth interruption on the properties of InGaN/GaN MQWs grown by MOCVD

InGaN/GaN MQWs structures were grown by MOCVD. The effects of the growth interruption time on the optical and structural properties of InGaN/GaN MQWs were investigated. The experimental results show that the growth interruption can improve the interface quality, increase the intensity of photoluminescence (PL) and electroluminescence (EL); but if the interruption time was too long, the well thickness and the average In composition of MQWs decreased, and the EL intensity also decreased due to poor interface quality and impurities derived from growth interruption.

Impact of Assimilation of FY-4A GIIRS Three-Dimensional Horizontal Wind Observations on Typhoon Forecasts

Measurements from a hyperspectral infrared(HIR) sounder onboard a satellite in geostationary orbit not only provide atmospheric thermodynamic information,but also can be used to infer dynamic information with high temporal *** measurements from the Geostationary Interferometric Infrared Sounder(GIIRS),obtained with 15-min temporal resolution during Typhoon Maria(2018) and 30-min temporal resolution during Typhoon Lekima(2019),were used to derive three-dimensional(3D) horizontal winds by tracking the motion of atmospheric *** work focused on the impact of assimilation of 3D winds on typhoon analyses and forecasts using the operational NWP model of the China Meteorological Administration(CMA-MESO),and improved understanding of the potential benefits of assimilating dynamic information from geostationary sounder data with higher temporal *** standard deviation of the observations minus simulations revealed that the accuracy of the derived 3D winds with 15-min resolution was higher than that of derived winds with 30-min *** showed that the assimilation system can effectively absorb the information of the derived 3D winds,and that dynamic information from clear-sky areas can be transferred to typhoon *** typhoon prediction,assimilation of the derived 3D winds had greatest influence on the typhoon track,and less influence on the maximum wind *** of the derived 3D winds reduced the average track error by 17.4% for Typhoon Maria(2018) and by 3.5% for Typhoon Lekima(2019) during their entire 36-h forecasts initiated at different *** of GIIRS dynamic information can substantially improve forecasts of heavy precipitation by *** indicate that the assimilation of dynamic information from high-temporal-resolution geostationary HIR sounder data adds value for improved numerical weather prediction.
