Ni-rich cathodes exhibit appealing properties,such as high capacity density,low cost,and prominent energy ***,the inferior ionic conductivity and bulk structural degradation become bottlenecks for Ni-rich cathodes and severely limit their commercial *** coating and doping methods suffer fatal drawbacks in functioning as a unit and cannot radically promote material performance to meet the needs of Li-ion batteries(LIBs).Herein,we successfully devised an ingenious and facile synthetic method to establish Ni-rich oxides with a La_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) coating and Zr *** coating layer improves the ion diffusion kinetics and enhances Li-ion transportation while Zr doping effectively suppresses the phase transition of LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2) *** to the synergetic effect of Zr doping and La_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7) coating,the modified material shows prominent initial discharge capacity of 184.7 m Ah g^(-1) at 5℃ and maintains 177.5 m Ah g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 1℃.Overall,the proposed feasible electrode design method can have a far-reaching impact on further fabrication of advanced cathodes for high-performance LIBs.

AIM: To explore the expression and clinicopathological significance of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and microvessel density (MVD) in gastric carcinogenesis, and to investigate their roles in the invasion and the relationship between biological behaviors and prognosis of gastric cancer. METHODS: Using Envision immunohistochemistry, COX-2 and CD34 expressions in gastric cancer tissue array were examined. MVD was counted and the relationship between the biological behaviors and prognosis was analyzed. RESULTS: The expression of COX-2 in gastric cancer tissue was significantly higher than that in normal mucosa (χ2 = 12.191, P han that in the normal mucosa (65.49 ± 20.64 vs 36.21 ± 18.47, t/F = 7.53, P genesis, may play an important role in gastric carcinogenesis. It could be served as a determinant factor for clinical prognosis and curative effect.

Solid-phase-sintered Si C-based composites with short carbon fibers（Csf/SSi C） in concentrations ranging from 0 to 10wt% were prepared by pressureless sintering at 2100°C. The phase composition, microstructure, density, and flexural strength of the composites with different Csf contents were investigated. SEM micrographs showed that the Csf distributed in the SSi C matrix homogeneously with some gaps at the fiber/matrix interfaces. The densities of the composites decreased with increasing Csf content. However, the bending strength first increased and then decreased with increasing Csf content, reaching a maximum value of 390 MPa at a Csf content of 5wt%, which was 60 MPa higher than that of SSi C because of the pull-out strengthening mechanism. Notably, Csf was graphitized and damaged during the sintering process because of the high temperature and reaction with boron derived from the sintering additive B4C; this graphitization degraded the fiber strengthening effect.

BACKGROUND Esophageal adenocarcinoma(EAC) is an aggressive disease with high mortality and an overall 5-year survival rate of less than 20%. Barrett's esophagus(BE) is the only known precursor of EAC, and patients with BE have a persistent and excessive risk of EAC over time. Individuals with BE are up to 30-125 times more likely to develop EAC than the general population. Thus, early detection of EAC and BE could significantly improve the 5-year survival rate of EAC. Due to the limitations of endoscopic surveillance and the lack of clinical risk stratification strategies, molecular biomarkers should be considered and thoroughly *** To explore the transcriptome changes in the progression from normal esophagus(NE) to BE and *** Two datasets from the gene Expression Omnibus(geO) in NCBI Database(https://***/geo/) were retrieved and used as a training and a test dataset separately, since NE, BE, and EAC samples were included and the sample sizes were adequate. This study identified differentially expressed genes(DEGs) using the R/Bioconductor project and constructed trans-regulatory networks based on the Transcriptional Regulatory Element Database and Cytoscape software. Enrichment of Kyoto Encyclopedia of genes and genomes(KEGG) and gene Ontology(GO) terms was identified using the Database for Annotation, Visualization, and Integrated Discovery(DAVID) Bioinformatics Resources.
