AIM: To study the minor diterpenes from the soft coral Sinularia depressa. METHOD: The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by various chromatographic techniques, and the chemical structures, including absolute configuration, were established on the basis of detailed analysis of spectroscopic data and by literature comparison with the data of related known compounds. RESULTS: A new casbane-type diterpene, 2-epi-10-hydroxydepressin(1), was isolated and identified. CONCLUSION: Compound 1 is a new casbane-type diterpene.

To enhance the high-temperature oxidation resistance and mechanical properties of a secondgeneration nickel-based superalloy,various concentrations of lanthanum(La)ranging from 5.0×10^(-5)wt.%to 3.4×10^(-4)wt.%are added to the *** microstructure of the nickel-based single crystal superalloy with trace of La was examined by means of SEM,EDS and *** show the addition of La decreases the segregation of elements and increases the amount ofγ/γ′eutectics of the as-cast alloy,and in the interdendritic region,the growth of eutectics is accompanied by the growth of strip clusters composed of Ni_(5)La and Ni_(3)*** the La content in the alloy increases,the proportion of Ni_(5)La in the cluster *** heat treatment,incipient melting occurs in the cluster regions,leading to an increase in microporosity compared to the original as-cast ***,the heat treatment alters the shape of the clusters from a strip morphology to an elliptical one,and it changes their composition from Ni_(5)La and Ni_(3)Ta to a combination of Ni_(5)La,Ni_(3)Ta,and MC carbides.

Nowadays,it is still a challenge to prepared high efficiency and low cost formaldehyde(HCHO)removal catalysts in order to tackle the long-living indoor air ***,δ-MnO_(2)is successfully synthesized by a facile ozonation strategy,where Mn^(2+)is oxidized by ozone(O_(3))bubble in an alkaline *** presents one of the best catalytic properties with a low 100%conversion temperature of 85℃for 50 ppm of HCHO under a GHSV of 48,000 mL/(g·hr).As a comparison,more than 6 times far longer oxidation time is needed if O3 is replaced by O_(2).Characterizations show that ozonation process generates a different intermediate of tetragonalβ-HMnO_(2),which would favor the quick transformation into the final productδ-MnO_(2),as compared with the relatively more thermodynamically stable monoclinicγ-HMnO_(2)in the O_(2)***,HCHO is found to be decomposed into CO_(2)via formate,dioxymethylene and carbonate species as identified by room temperature insitu diffuse reflectance infrared fourier transform *** these results show great potency of this facile ozonation routine for the highly activeδ-MnO_(2)synthesis in order to remove the HCHO contamination.

Personal care products(PCPs)are a class of emerging pollutants that have attracted public concern owing to their harmful effects on humans and the *** data is valuable for insight the levels of PCPs in the human body and can be crucial for identifying potential health *** gain a better understanding of timely exposure profiles and health risk of reproductive-age population to PCPs,we determined six parabens,six benzophenone-type ultraviolet filters,and three disinfectants in 256 urine samples collected from young adults aged 18-44 years in Beijing,*** urinary levels of benzophenone-3(BP-3)and 4-hydroxybenzophenone(4-OHBP)were significantly higher in summer compared to winter,suggesting these compounds have different seasonal usage ***,the total concentration of 15 PCPs in female was 430 ng/mL,approximately two times higher than that in male.P-chloro-m-xylenol(PCMX),as a new type of antibacterial agent,has the greatest level among all target analytes,indicating the increasingly use of this antibacterial alternative *** potential influencing factors that lead to the elevated exposure level of PCPs were *** 19%of the target population had a high hazard index value(greater than 1)which was attributed to exposure to propyl paraben(PrP),benzophenone-1(BP-1),BP-3 and PCMX,indicating that PCPs may pose a relatively high exposure risk at environmental levels that should be a cause for concern.

The attention mechanism has become a pivotal component in artificial intelligence, significantly enhancing the performance of deep learning applications. However, its quadratic computational complexity and intricate computations lead to substantial inefficiencies when processing long sequences. To address these challenges, we introduce Attar, a resistive random access memory(RRAM)-based in-memory accelerator designed to optimize attention mechanisms through software-hardware co-optimization. Attar leverages efficient Top-k pruning and quantization strategies to exploit the sparsity and redundancy of attention matrices, and incorporates an RRAM-based in-memory softmax engine by harnessing the versatility of the RRAM crossbar. Comprehensive evaluations demonstrate that Attar achieves a performance improvement of up to 4.88× and energy saving of 55.38% over previous computing-in-memory(CIM)-based accelerators across various models and datasets while maintaining comparable accuracy. This work underscores the potential of in-memory computing to enhance the efficiency of attention-based models without compromising their effectiveness.
