The 5400 a Bp extreme weakening event of the Asian summer monsoon and cultural evolution

we explored a time series of the Asian summer monsoon(ASM) variability during the transition period from the middle to the late holocene in the marginal Asian monsoon region. we used an absolutely dated ^(230)Th record with only a ~20-year dating error, and oxygen isotope data with an 8-year average temporal resolution from the top 22-mm segment of stalagmite wXB07-4 from wanxiang Cave, western Loess plateau. The ASM intensity weakened gradually from 6420 to 4920 a Bp, which.w.s mainly characterized by three phases:(1) a strengthening phase with a higher precipitation amount between 6420 and 6170 a Bp;(2) a smooth fluctuating interval during 6170–5700 a Bp; and(3) a sudden extreme weakening period from 5700 to 4920 a Bp. Interestingly, the extreme weakening interval of the ASM occurred during the period between 5700 and 4920 a Bp, an abrupt change dated at 5430 a Bp, which is known as the 5400 a Bp, or 5.4 ka Bp, event. The period included 290 years of gradual weakening, and 350 years of slow strengthening. This was synchronous with some cave records from the Asian monsoon region within dating errors. Comparing with Chinese archaeological archives over the past 7000 years, the early decline of the yangshao Culture in the Yellow River Basin and the hongshan Culture in the west Liao River Basin occurred during the period of gradual decrease of ASM precipitation. The dramatic decline in precipitation, caused by the extreme weakening of the ASM at 5400 a Bp,may have been partly related to the decline of the Miaodigou Culture at the yangguanzhai site in the weihe River valley; the middle yangshao Culture in western henan in the Yellow River Basin; the early dawenkou Culture on the lower reaches of the Yellow River; and the middle hongshan Culture in the west of the Liaohe River valley. during the later period of the 5400 a Bp event(5430–4920 a Bp), a small amplitude increase and a subsequent sharp decrease of ASM precipitation may have also been linked to the contemporan

A laser diode （Ld） pumping high-stability 1047 nm TEM00mode Nd: YLiF4（Nd: YLF） continuous wave （Cw） laser is reported in this letter. The laser output power of 5. 83 w with optical to optical efficiency of 27 % and slope efficiency of 30 % has been achieved. The instability of output power is 0. 36% and spike caused by relaxation oscillation has not been observed in the laser beam. The transverse cross section of laser beam is an ellipse, the diameters of laser beam at output mirror in both directions are 0. 97 mm and 1. 07 mm, respectively. The divergent angles are 0. 936 mrad and 0. 774 mrad, and the values of M2are 1. 37 and 1. 24, respectively. The polarization degree of laser beam is better than 237: 1.

peri-implantitis are a major problem causing implant failure these ***,anti-infection during the early stage and subsequent promotion of osseointegration are two main key factors to solve this ***-arc oxidation(MAO)treatment is a way to form an oxidation film on the surface of metallic *** method sh.w. good osteogenic properties but weak antibacterial ***,we developed combined strategies to combat severe peri-implantitis,which included the use of a novel compound.p.,comprising dendrimers poly(amidoamine)(pAMAM)loading dimethylaminododecyl methacrylate(dMAddM)as well as MAO ***,we explored the chemical properties of the novel compound.p.,and.p.oved that this compound was successfully synthesized,with the loading efficiency and encapsulation efficiency of 23.91%and 31.42%,*** further report the two-stage double benefits capability of pd+MAO:(1)in the first stage,pd+MAO could decrease the adherence and development of biofilms by releasing dMAddM in the highly infected first stage after implant surgery both in vitro and in vivo;(2)in the second stage,pd+MAO indicated mighty anti-infection and osteoconductive characteristics in a rat model of peri-implantitis in *** study first reports the two-staged,double benefits of pd+MAO,and demonstrates its potential in clinical applications for inhibiting peri-implantitis,especially in patients with severe infection risk.

Two low-lying unbound states in ^(16)C are investigated by deuteron inelastic scattering in inverse *** the 2^(-) state at 5.45 MeV previously measured in a 1n knockout reaction,a new resonant state at 6.89 MeV is observed for the first *** inelastic scattering angular distributions of these two states are well reproduced by the distorted-wave Born approximation(dwBA)calculation with an l=1 *** addition,the spinparities of the unbound states are discussed and tentatively assigned based on shell model calculations using the modified YSOX interaction.

we report the properties of more than 600 bursts(including cluster-bursts)detected from the repeating fast radio burst(FRB)source FRB 20201124A with the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope during an extremely active episode on UTC 2021 September 25–28,in a series of four *** observations were carried out in the band of 1.0–1.5 Ghz by using the center beam of the L-band 19-beam *** monitored the source in sixteen1 hr sessions and one 3 hr session spanning 23 *** the bursts were detected during the first four *** this first paper of the series,we perform a detailed morphological study of 624 bursts using the two-dimensional frequencytime“waterfall”plots,with a burst(or cluster-burst)defined as an emission episode during which the adjacent emission peaks have a separation shorter than 400 *** duration of a burst is therefore always longer than 1 ms,with the longest up to more than 120 *** emission spectra of the sub-bursts are typically narrow within the observing band with a characteristic width of~277 *** center frequency distribution has a dominant peak at about 1091.9 Mhz and a secondary weak peak around 1327.9 *** bursts sh.w.a frequencydownwarddrifting *** on the drifting patterns,we classify the bursts into five main categories:downward drifting(263)bursts,upward drifting(3)bursts,complex(203),no drifting(35)bursts,and no evidence for drifting(121)*** are introduced based on the emission frequency range in the band(low,middle,high and wide)as well as the number of components in one burst(1,2,or multiple).we measured a varying scintillation bandwidth from about 0.5 Mhz at 1.0 Ghz to 1.4 Mhz at 1.5 Ghz with a spectral index of 3.0.

Tribotronic triggers and sequential logic circuits

In this paper, a floating-gate tribotronic transistor （FGTT） based on a mobile triboelectric layer and a traditional silicon-based field-effect transistor （FET） is proposed. In the FGTT, the triboelectric charges in the layer created by contact electrification can be used to modulate charge carrier transport in the transistor. Based on the FGTTs and FETs, a tribotronic negated ANd （NANd） gate that achieves mechanical-electrical coupled inputs, logic operations, and electrical level outputs is fabricated. By further integrating tribotronic NANd gates with traditional digital circuits, several basic units such as the tribotronic S-R trigger, d trigger, and T trigger have been demonstrated. Additionally, tribotronic sequential logic circuits such as registers and counters have also been integrated to enable external contact triggered storage and computation. In contrast to the conventional sequential logic units controlled by electrical signals, contact-triggered tribotronic sequential logic circuits are able to realize direct interaction and integration with the external environment. This development can lead to their potential application in micro/nano-sensors, electromechanical storage, interactive control, and intelligent instrumentation.

Let h be a subgraph of G. we say that G has all fractional （g, f）-factors excluding h if for every r ： V（G） → z＋ with g（x） ≤ r（x） ≤ f（x） for all x ∈ V（G）, G has a fractional r-factor Fh such that E（h） ∩ E（Fh） = Ф, where h ： E（G） → [0, 1] is a function. In this paper, we sh.w.a characterization for the existence of all fractional （g, f）-factors excluding h and obtain two sufficient conditions for a graph to have all fractional （g, f）-factors excluding h.

The intermittent excitation of geodesic acoustic mode by resonant Instanton of electron drift wave envelope in L-mode discharge near tokamak edge

There are two distinct phases in the evolution of drift wave envelope in the presence of zonal flow.A long-lived standing wave phase,which.w. call the Caviton,and a short-lived traveling wave phase(in radial direction) we call the *** abrupt phenomena observed in tokamaks,such as intermittent excitation of geodesic acoustic mode(GAM) sh.w. in this paper,could be attributed to the sudden and fast radial motion of *** composite drift wave-zonal flow system evolves at the two well-separate scales:the micro-scale and the *** eigenmode equation of the model defines the zero-order(micro-scale) variation;it is solved by making use of the two-dimensional(2 d) weakly asymmetric ballooning theory(wABT),a theory suitable for modes localized to rational surface like drift waves,and then refined by shifted inverse power method,an iterative finite difference *** next order is the equation of electron drift wave(Edw) envelope(containing group velocity of Edw) which is modulated by the zonal flow generated by Reynolds stress of *** equation is coupled to the zonal flow equation,and numerically solved in spatiotemporal representation;the results are displayed in self-explanatory *** observes a strong correlation between the Caviton-Instanton transition and the zero-crossing of radial group velocity of *** calculation brings out the defining characteristics of the Instanton:it begins as a linear traveling wave right after the ***,it evolves to a nonlinear stage with increasing frequency all the way to 20 *** modulation to Reynolds stress in zonal flow equation brought in by the nonlinear Instanton will cause resonant excitation to *** intermittency is sh.w. due to the random phase mixing between multiple central rational surfaces in the reaction region.
