The purpose of this paper is to investigate the bending,buckling,vibration analyses of microcomposite circular-annular sandwich plate with CNT reinforced composite facesheets under hydro-thermo-magneto-mechanical loadings are presented using first order shear deformation theory(FSDT)and modified strain gradient theory(MSGT)that includes three material length scale ***,an isotropic homogeneous core is considered for microcomposite circular-annular sandwich *** generalized rule of mixture is employed to predict mechanical,moisture and thermal properties ofmicrocomposite sandwich *** using hamilton’s principle,governing equations are solved by differential quadrature method(DQM)for a circular annular sandwich *** predicted results are validated by carrying out the comparison studies for the FGM plates by modified couple stress theory(MCST).The obtained results are given to indicate the influence of the material length scale parameter,core-to-facesheet thickness ratios,magnetic effect,thermal andmoisture effects on the dimensionless deflection,critical buckling load,and natural frequency of microcomposite circular sandwich *** results can be employed in solid-state physics,materials science,nano-electronics,and nano electro-mechanical devices such as microactuators,and microsensor.

Facilitating non-contact measurement,a computer-imaging system was devised and evaluated to predict the chlorophyll content in potato leaves.A charge-coupled device(CCD)camera paired with two optical filters and light chamber was used to acquire green(550±40 nm)and red band(700±40 nm)images from the same *** leaves from 15 plants differing in coloration(green to yellow)and age were selected for this *** based image features,such as mean and variances of green and red band images,were extracted from the *** analyses demonstrated that the variations in SPAD meter reading could be explained by themeangrayandvariances of gray scale *** fitted least square models based on the mean gray scale levels were inversely related to the chlorophyll content of the potato leaf with a R^2 of 0.87 using a green band image and with an R2 of 0.79 using a red band *** the extracted four image features,the developed multiple linear regression model predicted the chlorophyll content with a high R^2 of 0.88).The multiple regression model(using all features)provided an average prediction accuracy of 85.08% and amaximum accuracy of 99.8%.The prediction model using only mean gray value of red band showed an average accuracy of 81.6% with a maximum accuracy of 99.14%.

There has been a considerable development in microfluidic based immunodiagnostics over the past few years which has greatly favored the growth of novel point-of-care-testing(POCT).however,the realization of an inexpensive,low-power POCT needs cheap and disposable microfluidic devices that can perform autonomously with minimum user *** work,for the first time,reports the development of a new microchannel capillary flow assay(MCFA)platform that can perform chemiluminescence based ELISA with lyophilized chemiluminescent *** new MCFA platform exploits the ultra-high sensitivity of chemiluminescent detection while eliminating the shortcomings associated with liquid reagent handling,control of assay sequence and user *** functionally designed microchannels along with adequate hydrophilicity produce a sequential flow of assay reagents and autonomously performs the ultra-high sensitive chemiluminescence based ELISA for the detection of malaria biomarker such as *** MCFA platform with no external flow control and simple chemiluminescence detection can easily communicate with smartphone via USB-OTG port using a custom-designed optical *** use of the smartphone for display,data transfer,storage and analysis,as well as the source of power allows the development of a smartphone based POCT analyzer for disease *** paper reports a limit of detection(LOD)of 8 ng/mL by the smartphone analyzer which is sensitive enough to detect active malarial *** MCFA platform developed with the smartphone analyzer can be easily customized for different biomarkers,so a hand-held POCT for various infectious diseases can be envisaged with full networking capability at low cost.

Mineralogical and geochemical characteristics of stream sediments collected from 30 stations in the Dahab-Wadi Kid area(southeastern Sinai,Egypt)are *** studied sediments contain considerable amounts of heavy minerals,including abundant Fe–Ti oxides,with up to 25.94%index figure that measures the relative abundance of heavy minerals to light *** of the sediments and nature of Fe–Ti oxide intergrowths,in addition to some non-opaque heavy minerals,indicate multiple provenances with contributions from a variety of Neoproterozoic mafic to felsic *** amounts of heavy minerals are derived from schists that belong to the so-called Wadi Kid volcanosedimentary *** to the considerable contribution of the felsic intrusions represented by within-plate granites,the sediments are enriched in REE-bearing minerals(e.g.,monazite,cerianite,La-cerianite and allanite),V-bearing thorite,zircon,and a ZrO_(2) *** majority of Fe–Ti oxides are derived from the mafic intrusions,and they show evidence of pre-,syn-and post-depositional phases of alteration and formation of *** to the geochemical signature of the bulk silt fraction,there is remarkable enrichment of LREEs with distinct negative Eu anomaly,and this supports dominance of a provenance dominated by felsic intrusions(i.e.,the A-type within-plate granite and associated pegmatites).Also,the felsic provenance is responsible for slight abnormality of ∑PU+Th content(up to~37 ppm)and few anomalous samples bear uraniferous zircon and Ce-type *** present paper sheds light on the fertility of the Dahab stream sediments in some economic minerals for possible future exploitation,not for gold only,but for potential REEbearing minerals that are needed for a wide spectrum of modern technological industries.

Inorporation of etoposide(ETP)into nanoemulsion(NE)containing polyunsaturated faty adids(PUFAS)may potentially augment its antiproliferation efet on the cancer cll The current study aimed to examine the in vitro antitumor activity of a novel formulation(ETP-BC/EP-NE)produced by combining the anticancer drug(ETP)with NE(BCEP-NE)consisting of the blasck currant seed and organic ewening primrose *** produced formulas were physically charaterized using 2etasizer *** ceytotoxkc efect was testfied at concentrations ranges from 0.0001 to 5μM using *** and ant-invasion efects were evaluated using the assays of mitochondrtal membrane potental,annexin V-FITC double *** fragmentation,and collagen-based cell *** to the zetasizer charaterization,the nano-suspensions of ETP-BC/EP-NE have z-average diameters of 87.63土3.30 nm with an average surface zeta potential of-0.605土0.003 mV.A reduction of 50%in the growth of SK-OV-3 cells was found at a distinetly lower concentration of ETP-BCEP-NE(IlCso=0.04土0.2μM)than that of ETP(ICsu=4.75土0.1μM).Resuts indicated that FTP-BCIEP-NE had a greater apoptotic ffect than FTP on SK-OV-3 cllsl which was attibuted to the larger amount of late apoptotic cells(41.9土1.05%)higher loss of mitochondrial membrane potential,and more intensive fragmented DNA The ETP-BC/EP-NE treatment suppressed the cllular invasion by 55%,whereas EIP impeded the ellular invasion by only 3%,Formulting ETP with PUFAs in NE had ameliorated the efcacy of ETP.

A series of tests was conducted to unlock the potential application of MgO/water-EG(ethylene glycol)nanofluids(NF)in a double-pipe heat exchanger(hEX).The overall heat transfer coefficient(hTC),the inlet temperature of the working fluid,the fluid pressure drop(FPD),friction factor(FF)and the hydraulic performance index of the NF within the hEX were experimentally *** of nanoparticles(NPs)within the hex was also studied and modelled using asymptotic particulate fouling *** showed that MgO NPs can enhance the hTC by 39%at Re=10500 and wt.%=0.3 in the turbulent ***,the presence of MgO NPs augmented the FF and the FPD *** former was enhanced 33.8%,while the latter was augmented by 37%both at wt.%=0.3 and at Reynolds number=*** also revealed that the formation of porous particulate fouling layer on the internal wall of the inner tube creates a fouling thermal resistance which changes asymptotically with ***,MgO/water-ethylene glycol shows a great potential to be used as a coolant within a hEX.
