Nonlinear electrostatic and electromagnetic low frequency waves are studied in magnetized electron–positron–ion (EPI) plasmas. The effects of full nonlinearity and three dimensional ion motion have been taken into account. It is shown that both density dips and humps can coexist in EPI plasmas along with bell-shaped and kink-type solitons. The new results as well as several limiting cases for comparison with earlier work have been discussed, for the sake of completeness. Relevance of this work to space, astrophysical and laboratory plasmas is pointed out.

hybrid nanofluids are remarkable functioning liquids that are intended to reduce the energy loss while maximizing the heat *** the involvement of suction and nonlinear thermal radiation effects,this study attempted to explore the energy transmission features of the inclined magnetohydrodynamic(MhD)stagnation flow of CNTs-hybrid nanofluid across the nonlinear permeable stretching or shrinking *** work also included some noteworthy features like chemical reactions,variable molecular diffusivity,quadratic convection,viscous dissipation,velocity slip and heat omission *** appropriate similarity components,the model equations were modified to ODEs and computed by using the hAM *** impact of various relevant flow characteristics on movement,heat and concentration profiles was investigated and plotted on a *** various model factors,the significance of drag friction,heat and mass transfer rate were also computed in tabular and graphical *** leads to the conclusion that such factors have a considerable impact on the dynamics of fluid as well as other engineering measurements of ***,viscous forces are dominated by increasing the values ofλ_(p),δ_(m)andδ_(q),and as a result,F(ξ)accelerates while the opposite trend is observed for M andφ.The drag friction is boosted by the augmentation M,λ_(p)andφ,but the rate of heat transfer *** to our findings,hybrid nanoliquid effects dominate that of ordinary nanofluid in terms of F(ξ),Θ(ξ)andφ(ξ)*** hAM and the numerical technique(shooting method)were found to be in good agreement.

Background: Several conducted studies have reported a higher and more frequent helicobacter pylori infection rate in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). The aim of this study was to estimation the prevalence of h. pylori and its association between h. pylori infection and T2DM. Materials and Methods: A sectional-cross study was conducted based on 200 patients studded with socioeconomic characteristics through a questionnaire & h. pylori was diagnosed by serum anti-h. pylori immunoglobulin G (IgG) and IgA. Furthermore, patients were investigated for fasting blood glucose (FBG) levels, glycosylated hemoglobin (hbA1c), serum cholesterol, and other biochemistry parameters. Results: The findings showed The prevalence of hp positive infection was significantly higher in the total sample was 134 with (67%). While 66 out of 200 patients with (33%) was h. pylori negative infection. of h. pylori. Further, the mean values were statistically significant for diabetes with h. pylori infection for IgG > 300 titer and IgA > 250 titer, regarding, hbA1C (7.52 ± 0.41) (P Conclusions: The current study revealed that h. pylori prevalence infections were significantly higher in diabetic patients studied compared to non-diabetic patients. Furthermore, T2DM patients infected with h. pylori positive reported a higher prevalence rate of symptoms than h. pylori negative.

Au is considered as one of the most promising catalysts for nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR),however maximizing the activity utilization rate of Au and understanding the synergistic effects between Au and carriers pose ongoing ***,we systematically explore the synergistic catalytic effect of incorporating Au with boron clusters for accelerating NRR *** in-situ abinitio strategy is employed to construct B-doped Au nanoparticles(2-6 nm in diameter)loaded on BO_(x) substrates(AuBO_(x)),in which B not only modulates the surface electronic structure of Au but also forms strong coupling interactions to stabilize the *** electrochemical results show that Au-BO_(x) possesses excellent NRR activity(Nh_(3) yield of 48.52μg h^(-1)mg_(cat)^(-1),Faraday efficiency of 56.18%),and exhibits high stability and reproducibility throughout the electrocatalytic NRR *** calculations reveal that the introduction of B induces the formation of both Au dangling bond and Au-B coupling *** considerably facilitates the hydrogenation of~*N_(2)^(-)~*Nh_(3).The present work provides a new avenue for the preparation of metal-boron materials achieved by one-step reduction and doping process,utilizing boron clusters as reducing and stabilizing agents.

We present the preliminary results of our code OPAQS（opacity calculation using quantum statistical model） that is based on the self consistent hartree-Fock-Slater model for the average atom. The code is capable of performing robust calculations of average charge state, frequency-dependent and mean opacities. The accuracy of the atomic model is verified by comparing the calculations of average charge state with various published results. The monochromatic opacities for iron computed at different sets of temperatures and densities are compared with LEDCOP. The Rosseland and Planck opacities for iron and aluminum are validated with some state-of-the-art codes. The results are in good agreement with the published data.

Polyethyleneimine(PEI)modified palygorskite(Pal)was used for the adsorption of Cr(VI)in aqueous *** absorbent was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).Characterized results confirmed that the Pal has been successfully modified by *** modification of PEI increased the Cr(VI)adsorption performance of the Pal by the adsorption combined reduction mechanism,and amino groups of the adsorbent play the main role in the enhanced Cr(VI)*** maximum adsorption capacity was 51.10 mg·g^-1 at ph4.0 and 25°*** adsorption kinetics of Cr(VI)on the adsorbent conforms to the Langmuir isotherm *** maximum adsorption occurs at ph3,and then the adsorption capacity of PEI-Pal was decreased with the increase of p h *** adsorption kinetics of Cr(VI)on PEI-Pal was modeled with pseudo-second-order *** addition of Cl^-,SO4^2-and PO4^3-reduced the Cr(VI)adsorption by competition with Cr(VI)for the active sites of *** Cr(VI)saturated PEI-Pal can be regenerated in alkaline solution,and the adsorption capacity can still be maintained at 30.44 mg·g^-1 after 4 *** results demonstrate that PEI-Pal can be used as a potential adsorbent of Cr(VI)in aqueous solutions.

high pressure investigations of matter involve the study of strong shock wave dynamics within the materials which gives rise to many thermal effects leading to dissociation of molecules,ionization of atoms,and radiation emission,*** response of materials experiencing a strong shock can be determined by its shock hugoniot calculations which are frequently applied in numerical and experimental studies in inertial confinement fusion,laboratory astrophysical plasma,*** studies involve high energy density plasmas in which the radiation plays an important role in determining the energy deposition and maximum compressibility achieved by the shock within *** this study,we present an investigation for the effect of radiation pressure on the maximum compressibility of the material using shock hugoniot *** shock hugoniot calculations,an equation of state(EOS)is developed in which electronic contributions for EOS calculations are taken from an improved screened hydrogenic model with−l splitting(I-ShML)[high Energy Density Physics(2018)2648]under local thermodynamic equilibrium(LTE)*** thermal ionic part calculations are adopted from the state of the art Cowan model while the cold ionic contributions are adopted from the scaled binding energy *** Shock hugoniot calculations are carried out for sodium and iron plasmas and our calculated results show excellent agreement with published results obtained by using either sophisticated self-consistent models or the first principle study.

Ion population fraction（IPF） calculations are very important to understand the radiative spectrum emitted from the hot dense matter. IPF calculations require detailed knowledge of all the ions and correlation interactions between the electrons of an ion which are present in a plasma environment. The average atom models, e.g., screened hydrogenic model with l-splitting（ShML）, now have the capabilities for such calculations and are becoming more popular for in line plasma calculations. In our previous work [Ali A, Shabbir Naz G, Shahzad M S, Kouser R, Rehman A and Nasim M h 2018 high Energy Density Phys. 26 48], we have improved the continuum lowering model and included the exchange and correlation effects in ShML. This study presents the calculation of IPF using classical theory of fluctuation for our improved screened hydrogenic model with l-splitting（I-ShML） under local thermodynamic equilibrium conditions for iron and aluminum plasma over a wide range of densities and temperatures. We have compared our results with other models and have found a very good agreement among them.
