Distributed generation(DG)allocation in the distribution network is generally a multi-objective optimization *** maximum benefits of DG injection in the distribution system highly depend on the selection of an appropriate number of DGs and their capacity along with the best *** this paper,the improved decomposition based evolutionary algorithm(I-DBEA)is used for the selection of optimal number,capacity and site of DG in order to minimize real power losses and voltage deviation,and to maximize the voltage stability *** proposed I-DBEA technique has the ability to incorporate non-linear,nonconvex and mixed-integer variable problems and it is independent of local extrema *** order to validate the effectiveness of the proposed technique,IEEE 33-bus,69-bus,and 119-bus standard radial distribution networks are ***,the choice of optimal number of DGs in the distribution system is also *** simulation results of the proposed method are compared with the existing *** comparison shows that the proposed method has the ability to get the multi-objective optimization of different conflicting objective functions with global optimal values along with the smallest size of DG.

The structural vibrational, thermodynamical, and optical properties of potentially technologically important, weakly coupled mAX compound, Sc2 Al C are calculated using density functional theory(DFT). The structural properties of ScAlC are compared with the results reported earlier. The vibrational, thermodynamical, and optical properties are theoretically estimated for the first time. The phonon dispersion curve is calculated and the dynamical stability of this compound is investigated. The optical and acoustic modes are observed clearly. We calculate the helmholtz free energy(F), internal energy(E), entropy(S), and specific heat capacity(Cv) from the phonon density of states. Various optical parameters are also calculated. The reflectance spectrum shows that this compound has the potential to be used as an efficient solar reflector.

The unsteady double diffusion of the boundary layer with the nanofluid flow near a three-dimensional(3D)stagnation point body is studied under a microgravity *** effects of g-jitter and thermal radiation exist under the microgravity environment,where there is a gravitational field with *** flow problem is mathematically formulated into a system of equations derived from the physical laws and principles under the no-slip boundary *** the semi-similar transformation technique,the dimensional system of equations is reduced into a dimensionless system of equations,where the dependent variables of the problem are lessened.A numerical solution for the flow problem derived from the system of dimensionless partial differential equations is obtained with the Keller box method,which is an implicit finite difference *** effects studied are analyzed in terms of the physical quantities of principle interest with the fluid behavior characteristics,the heat transfer properties,and the concentration *** results show that the value of the curvature ratio parameter represents the geometrical shape of the boundary body,where the stagnation point is *** increased modulation amplitude parameter produces a fluctuating behavior on all physical quantities studied,where the fluctuating range becomes smaller when the oscillation frequency ***,the addition of Cu nanoparticles enhances the thermal conductivity of the heat flux,and the thermal radiation could increase the heat transfer properties.

herein,we report the synthesis of a Dy-Gd co-doped cubic phase-stabilized Bi_(2)O_(3) solid electrolyte system via solid-state processing under atmospheric *** with Dy^(3+) and Gd^(3+) has been observed to significantly enhance the densification process during sintering for stabilization purposes,thereby improving the electrical properties of δ-Bi_(2)O_(3)-type *** synthesized ceramics were characterized using X-ray diffraction(XRD),field emission scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(FESEm-EDX),thermal gravimetry/differential thermal analysis(TG/DTA),and the four-point probe technique(4PPT).XRD analysis reveals that the samples Bi_(1-x-y)Gd_(x)Dy_(y)O_(1.5)(y=0.05/x=0.05,0.10,0,15,and 0.20,and x=0.05/y=0.10,0.15,and 0.20) exhibit a stable face-centered cubic δ-phase and a mixed-phase crystallographic *** XRD analysis of the stabilized δ-phase suggests that the prepared oxides show a face-centered cubic(FCC) structure with a space group of *** micrographs reveal that the composition Bi_(0.90)Gd_(0.05)Dy_(0.05)O_(1.5) has no significant ***,an evident increase in the pore formation is observed as the amount of Gd_(2)O_(3) increases until it reaches 20%.This finding suggests that dense pellets are formed during the sintering process at 900-1000℃.The DTA analyses were performed to verify the phase stability,which agrees with the XRD *** electrochemical performance of the synthesized Dy-Gd co-doped Bi_(2)O_(3)solid electrolyte system was evaluated and analyzed in detail by using the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) technique,Based on EIS and conductivity measurements,Bi_(0.75)Gd_(0.20)Dy_(0.05)O_(1.5) exhibits the lowest activation energy of 0.519 eV and the highest conductivity value of 0.398 S/cm at 627℃compared to the other samples;this composition can be used as a solid electrolyte for intermediatetemperature solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs).

A new spectral jacobi rational-Gauss collocation （jRC） method is proposed for solving the multi- pantograph delay differential equations on the half-line. The method is based on jacobi rational functions and Gauss quadrature integration formula. The main idea for obtaining a semi-analytical solution for these equations is essentially developed by reducing the pantograph equations with their initial conditions to systems of algebraic equations in the unknown expansion coefficients. The convergence analysis of the method is analyzed. The method possesses the spectral accuracy. Numerical results indicating the high accuracy and effectiveness of this algorithm are presented. Indeed, the present method is compared favorably with other methods.

Water shortage in the arid region is an existing and future severe problem that threatens this part of the *** has a limited budget of 55 Bm3 per year from the river Nile basin that has always been stored in the Lake Nasser reservoir,southern *** has been estimated that the water losses from the lake ranges from 10 to 20 Bm3 a year*** paper discusses the possibility of estimating the surface evaporation from Lake Nasser using optical remotely sensed *** surface energy balance algorithm for land(SEBAL)algorithm was used to estimate the monthly evaporation rate using National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration-Advanced Very high Resolution Radiometer(NOAA-AVhRR)satellite images based on the energy balance *** main variable within these components is the surface temperature,which was calculated by a calibrated split window equation from the remotely sensed ***-four satellite images during the year 2008 were used to estimate the maximum and minimum evaporative losses from the lake at 16.3 and 12.5 Bm3 year1,*** compared with the Penman-monteith mathematical formula,a high correlation was obtained with r2*** study demonstrated that remotely sensed data can provide a robust estimate of evaporative losses from Lake Nasser that can aid decision makers in better management and Digital Earth studies.

Due to the depletion of conventional energy sources and its limitless resources,solar energy is currently being considered as a viable alternative,especially for water heating *** thermal performance of multilayer solar collectors for water heating systems can be improved further by introducing hybrid nanofluids as advanced *** study demonstrates the utilisation of hybrid nanofluids in heating systems by employing a multilayer absorber solar *** SiO2–TiO2 hybrid nanofluids at volume concentrations up to 2.0%were tested at various flow rates(1.7 to 3.7 LPm)and solar radiation intensities(250 to 1000 W/m2).The thermal performance of the solar collector was assessed by measuring the temperature variation,heat loss,and overall efficiency of the *** the optimal volume concentration,the temperature difference for solar collectors employing SiO2–TiO2 hybrid nanofluids increased *** optimal volume concentration of 1.5%yields a maximum temperature difference of 9.5°*** addition,the efficiency and fluid temperature of the solar collector containing hybrid nanofluids have been enhanced by 22%and 37%,*** SiO2–TiO2 hybrid nanofluids with the optimal volume concentration of 1.5%were therefore recommended for maximum efficiency in the solar collector.

The cavity with lid-driven is greatly used in mixing,coating,and drying applications and is a substantial issue in the study of thermal performance rate and fluid field.A numerical approach is presented to study the thermal distribution and passage of fluid in a lid-driven cavity with an upper oscillating surface and an attached *** walls of a cavity at the left and right were maintained at 350 and 293 K,*** upper oscillating surface was equipped with a variable height to baffle to increase the convection of the three kinds of TiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),andCuO nanofluids with various of 0.4,0.8,and 0.4,0.8,and 1.2 vol.%in volume *** was found that using a baffle attached to the oscillating upper surface of the cavity will lead to improving the distribution of vorticity in the cavity and increase the stream in the ***,increasing the baffle height,oscillating velocity,and volume fraction of nanoparticles contributes to enhancing the Nusselt number values by 50%for increasing baffle height from h∗=0.1 to ***,the Nu improved by 20%for increasing oscillating velocity from w=05 to 20 rad/s and by 12%for using Al_(2)O_(3)nanofluid instead of TiO3 atϕ=0.8 vol.%.

This study reports the morphological characteristics of anomalous variations in Global Navigation Satellite System Total Electron Content(GNSS-TEC) prior to the strong local earthquakes(EQ) that occurred during the period of *** have analyzed 20 earthquakes of magnitude m> 5.6.A statistical technique is implemented on the data of six GNSS stations located in Tashkent,Kitab,and maidanak in Uzbekistan,and Islamabad,multan,Quetta in *** results show continuous anomalous variations in TEC during 24 h befo re the occupancy of local *** is shown that the precursors before the occurrence of strong earthquakes,in particular of magnitude 5.7,7.7,7.5,7.8 and 7.3 are detected near Eastern Uzbekistan(26 may 2013),Southwestern Pakistan(24 September 2013),hindukush region of Afghanistan(26 October 2015),and Central Nepal(25 April 2015) and(12 may 2015),*** ionospheric anomalies appearing before the strong earthquakes at six GNSS stations are registered in 14cases(70%) out of 20 selected *** is depicted that anomalies referred to as ionospheric precursors appeared about 1-7 days prior to the occurrence of strong earthquakes.
